You name it, Katherine handled it. She especially shined on the day of the wedding. My in-laws, who are pretty hard to please and owned the venue, stated: "That woman earned her paycheck," regarding making sure everything went smoothly on the actual wedding day. She handled the rehearsal perfectly, and was excellent regarding all of the minutiae that I didn't even know I needed to deal with. Plus she's BRAVE. If the bride doesn't want something that a family member is pushing, she doesn't just advocate for her, she goes to war for her and she'll win. Planning a wedding sucks, but Kay will make it suck at least several orders of magnitude less. And she will make sure your wedding day is perfect. Mine absolutely was.

I was truthfully a little nervous at first about how the double duty would work out, but it was such an amazing combination, I can't imagine having it any other way! Kay knew every single detail of our wedding - what I cared most about, could anticipate what my taste, and what aspects of the day I would absolutely want captured. She was a great planner - answering late night text messages, attending all our vendor meetings with us to make sure things were on point, and even running around town to craft stores when some vendor options didn't look quite like I envisioned. As a photographer/videographer, she and Bram totally nailed it. Since they'd spent so much time with us between our engagement photo shoot and planning the wedding, we were super comfortable with them and they captured our true personalities in our photos. I adore all the photos and video they made - and have even gotten compliments on the quality of their work from other vendors that see a LOT of wedding pictures. As far as the day of planner + photographer combo - she brought in two assistants for day of support to make sure everything ran perfectly and she could focus on capturing our day from start to finish. All hiccups and family drama (there's always something!) were handled seamlessly, professionally, and without any stress to me. Thank you for making our day amazing, Kay and Bram! Scott and I are so grateful to you for our wedding and happy to call you friends now!

Once my wedding day came and we finally met face to face and it was like we have been friends for a long time. She didn’t make my bridal party and I out of place. She helped me feel so relaxed when I was stressing out over my wedding due to a music festival that was going to take place right next to our wedding; she even contacted the music festival. She even helped when I was getting lost with the time and not knowing what else was next on our wedding day. She knew that I was going to be very emotional on my wedding day since my mom had passed when I was younger & that I wanted to honor her and that my real father and step father would be at my wedding; well she made sure she captured it all! Her second shooter; her husband was so awesome as well especially when I asked for a certain picture which meant he had to lay in the sand ; he didn’t hesitate at all! They captured our special day and I could NOT be happier! I am so glad that we went with her!
