Kayla took the pictures for my daughter's wedding this past August 23, 2014 in West Texas. Even amid the whirl of the wedding day, I was so impressed by her ability and professionalism. I kept thinking, "Wow, she is really some photographer." She was more than terrific. She did not get in the way. She did not make the picture taking seem endless by any measure. She was no nonsense and all about getting the best pictures. She was focused, super efficient and clearly, as they say, "on the very top of her game." She knew exactly how and where to get the best pictures. For example, Kayla surprised me when she was taking the pictures of my daughter and me before the ceremony when she said "Now, look at each other." When I took a look at my daughter, so beautiful in her wedding gown, I just felt so overcome with happiness for her. The resulting picture is "priceless" and is now my favorite picture of my daughter and me. I just knew Kayla was getting great pictures of everyone. And, as it turned out, she did. The wedding album is just so, so very beautiful. Thank you, Kayla!! I have such warm and happy memories of my daughter's wedding and Kayla captured so beautifully the spirit and love of that day.

As a scrapbooker/memory preserver, photographs are a very important part of my life, and I feel the lives of my children and some day grandchildren. When it came to choosing a photographer for my son's wedding, it was a very important decision and I do not feel that a better one could have been made than choosing Kayla. I am a newlywed, and I am SO glad that Kayla was recommended to us. Our wedding was just over a month ago, and I already have the photos from that special day. They turned out stunning! Overall I was very pleased with my pictures. Kayla came highly recommended by many people. She had a very bubbly personality. We did a packaged deal that included Engagements, Bridals, and Wedding pictures. Our engagements were amazing! I wasn't as fond of my bridals, but a lot of that has to with me more than Kayla. Without having my fiance at the time wasn't with me so I had a hard time smiling without it looking fake or having a lazy eye. My wedding pictures were great! I have had a lot of people who really like them. The overall Experience was great! Kayla was really sweet and sincere. I have heard horror stories about wedding pictures being lost, not returned, or taken over a year to get them back, but Kayla returned the pictures quickly.She was also very open to my style. I am more country than chic and she did not try to push anything on me but allowed me to be me, that is a big deal to me. Kayla was very professional throughout the whole event. Kayla was the photographer for our wedding in January. She provided us with stunningly beautiful pictures that we'll treasure forever, but she also helped us in a variety of other ways as we planned our wedding. We did not have a wedding planner, so Kayla's wedding expertise was invaluable as we made choices on flowers, the event timeline, and several other details. She also designed all of our paper goods (invitations, programs, etc.) and they turned out exactly as I had invisioned. Kayla is truly an artist, not just someone who takes photos. We were so happy with our images...she captured everything beautifully, was never distracting, and was assertive enough to get the right shots, poses, lighting, and people every time, all while keeping our wedding day on schedule. She was also a great communicator, answering my hundreds of questions promply and cheerfully, as my fiance and I planned our wedding from two different cities. Photography was very important to us as we planned and budgeted for our wedding, and Kayla's photos were everything we'd hoped for. We love displaying them in our home and having them as an heirloom for years to come!

Kayla was amazing from the day my husband and I booked her to the day that she attended our wedding and ending with when she sent us our pictures. Kayla's pictures are phenomenal (they speak for themselves), but it's her wonderful personality that really became the reason that we were so happy with Kayla. I used Kayla Barker Fine Art Photography for my wedding on June 21, 2014. We had a morning (10 am) ceremony, followed by a luncheon reception. One thing that was especially useful to my husband and I was that Kayla communicated extremely well via email. My husband works internationally, and I was working long/erratic hours most of the time, so it was important to us that most of the beforehand discussions could be handled through email. Kayla's questionnaire allowed us to relay all the relevant information to her so that she could set up a schedule. All of the day of photography went so smoothly thanks to Kayla. We were on a tight pre-ceremony schedule due to the early hour, and Kayla was great about fitting everything in during the time allotted. Also, the church had a few very specific guidelines for photography, but Kayla was able to get beautiful shots in while operating within the guidelines. Also, she is so adept at moving around quietly that I hardly think anyone noticed her while she was getting such great shots of them :) The ceremony, reception, and formal photographs all turned out wonderfully; we've received nothing but compliments, and we have so many wonderful memories perfectly preserved for us. Another thing that we were very pleased with was the processing time on the photos, especially considering how busy the summer "wedding season" is for most photographers. Again, I can do nothing but recommend Kayla as a professional who is easy to work with and so talented at conveying the happiness of the occasion through her beautiful work!

Kayla Barker was my photographer for my wedding in June. After the wedding I told my husband and family how great I thought she was and they all agreed. Everyone in my family and wedding party loved working with her. When we saw the pictures, we loved her even more!! She has creative ideas, but also stays very true to what her bride wants. She take really neat artsy pictures, but she knew I was more traditional, so she made my pictures exactly how and wanted them- if not better! One of my favorite things about Kayla is that she has a sweet yet confident personality. She got everyone organized and took control of hectic situations gracefully. I had been following Kayla for awhile and knew that I wanted her to photograph my wedding. Kayla was absolutely wonderful! She photographed my bridals and my wedding and they were stunning. Landon and I had researched many photographers in the West Texas area and none can compare to her quality of photography. She had an eye for capturing details and finding the perfect lighting. I think Kayla is the best photographer in the world. Of course, I am very biased because she is my oldest daughter! But, as someone who knows her better than most, I can say that she is a kind and generous woman. She genuinely cares for people and wants them to be blessed. For my son and daughter-in-law's wedding, she took their engagement and wedding photos. This was her gift to them. Also, she worked with them to design their wedding invitations and programs and paid for all of the printing and postage as well. My husband and I were married on a remote island off South Carolina only accessible by ferry this past June. Not only were Kayla and Clint up for the challenge, they were amazing to work with! My daughter was married on June 1, 2013. My niece who was married 3 years before her used Kayla Barker from Spink Studio for her pictures. I loved the pictures so much that when my daughter was engaged I spoke to my sister about using Kayla. My daughter was married on Daufuskie Island, SC. so it was the perfect scene for pictures and Kayla did a wonderful job. She and her husband Clint were a delight to be around, and the pictures captured the whole island theme with such beauty. She arrived in enough time to scope out the island to find the spots that would enhance the beautiful bride and groom. I can't say enought about Kayla's expert eye when it came to the scenery. I don't think my review can even do Kayla justice. Planning my Texas wedding all the way from New York City was tough, but with Kayla, I knew I wouldn't have to worry about anything related to photographs. Not only does she make each picture look incredible while telling the story of the wedding, she has the most amazing personality! Kayla was all I could have ever wished for in a wedding photographer and more! She was on top of every part of my wedding from beginning to end. She set up my bridal shoot at multiple amazing locations and got awesome shots. Any time I needed to contact her she responded in record timing, even giving me her cell phone number to reach her. On my wedding day she got every shot I could have ever wanted, even getting special detailed shots that I didn't even know she was taking until I saw the photos. The pictures from my wedding I will treasure forever. I feel so blessed to have had such an amazing photographer to capture those moments.

I was very privilaged to have Kayla as my wedding photographer. Not only is she very talented, she is one of the most kind-hearted people I have ever met. I believe she truly goes above and beyond for every one of her clients to make sure their expectations are met. In the case of my wedding photos, I really could not have asked for more. Looking through my photos I can re-live that special day because there was not a moment she didn't capture. She even had her husband stay with the groom and groomsmen while they were getting ready, so I would have pictures of the guys to look back at and not just me and my bridesmaids. I picked out Kayla before I even met the man I am now married to (= Her pictures were just so unique I knew that if I ever did have a wedding, she was the only one I'd want to capture it. When I did get engaged and began to look at a budget I thought it might be a better idea to go with more of a middle of the road photographer (I was a single mom in school). After looking at other friends pictures and comparing prices, I decided that it made more sense if I was already going to be spending quite a bit just for mediocre pictures to go ahead spend a little more to get phenomenal ones!! I am so so so glad I made that choice!!!!!!!! The pictures from our wedding are the most beautiful photographs I have ever seen!!!!!! Every single one is incredible!! Im even going to frame the picture she took of my shoes because its so cool!!! I told Kayla that the most important aspect of the wedding pictures, to me, was capturing the emotions and she did an amazing job of that. She took pictures that make me want to cry because they were so beautiful and they made me feel like I was back there at my wedding staring at the man I wanted to spend my life with. (= Kayla worked with me on everything!!!! She even met up with us at 7:00am to do family pictures because we finally got everyone in town (they turned out sooo good too!!!!) Also, Kayla is very open to suggestions or opinions, she just wants you to be happy!! (But take her suggestions because she has an unbelievable eye for things!!!) All in all it was a great experience and I will (and have already) use her for any additional family pictures and jump in on any mini sessions she offers. She is by far THE BEST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Spink Studio team was exceptional. They met with us about 3 months prior to the event even though we lived about 3 hours away. They were open to all our ideas and were flexible with their time during our wedding day which was a full day event. We recieved our proofs and album proofs in a timely manner and the results were just perfect in capturing our day. We would use them again!

I cannot be happier that we hired Spink Studio to take our engagement and wedding pictures. I have HUNDREDS of beautiful pictures to chose from and Kayla was a dream to work with. Spinks Photography photographed our wedding in June and did an absolutely amazing job! Not only did Kayla photograph our wedding but she also designed our wedding invitations and programs and they couldn't have been more perfect. Choosing Spink Studio was probably the most important decision of my whole wedding. Why go to all of the trouble of the perfect dress, flowers, food, atmosphere, etc, if you don't have someone you trust to capture every detail that you worked so tirelessly on? Photos last a lifetime so in my opinion it is the last thing you should skimp on. Spink did such an amazing job at grasping the whole ambiance and feel of my wedding. I have hundreds of beautiful pictures that tell the story of my big day, with out them I'm not sure I'd remember a whole lot just because of the rushing and bustling from place to place. Kayla and Clint were a dream to work with - incredible people, super professional, and of course they take amazing photographs, which is ultimately the most important part! I absolutely love my wedding photos. Everyone who sees them comments on how gorgeous they are and how Kayla truly captured the entire feel of the wedding and us as a couple. Spink Studio captured our March 26th wedding beautifully! Kayla and Clint were an amazing team and so flexible, patient and fun to work with. No detail was left unphotographed, and we have received so many compliments on our pictures. We had a large wedding party (16, not including us) and Kayla absolutely rocked the group photos! Several of the wedding party even commented that she was the sweetest and most professional wedding photographer they had met. Wedding photos were one of the most important things for us and we could not be more pleased with the quality we received through Spink Studio. 110% recommend!

I have known Kayla for a long time and remember when she started photography when we were in high school; I can not believe how far she has come! When I got married last year I knew right away I wanted her to take our photos. Pictures last forever and tell a story and I wanted to make sure I had someone who would capture that well; I knew she would do it! Our lighting for our wedding was not the easiest to work with but she did a fantastic job with it! Every time someone comes into my office and sees some of my wedding pictures they ask who took them because of how great they turned out. My favorite part of my wedding is my pictures. Spink Studio did our pictures for our June 18th wedding. Kayla met with me several times before the wedding and reassured me that she would do EVERYTHING I wanted. And... she did!! I had Kayla do my bridal pictures and she bent over backwards to take me to a unique location that she knew I would love. Pictures turned out great. Kayla was a fabulous photographer, graphic designer for our wedding in December. We started planning with her around May of last year and when we met I knew it was going to be perfect. She's very professional. Kayla took a gigantic stress off my shoulders because she's a perfectionist and absolutely loves her job. When you hire her you will not have to worry about anything. She is a great designer as well, she designed and printed our programs. If I could do anything different, I would have asked her to do all the design work starting with the "save-the-dates" to the invitations and the programs. Kayla is fabulous at everything she does.
