Kayla was one of the best decisions we made throughout our wedding planning process!! She is so incredibly kind and fun but is also able to give direction when needed on your big day! We had a large wedding party (20 in total) and she effortlessly captured all of our bridal party and family shots-- even on the busy streets of Chicago! Not only that, but her photography is BEAUTIFUL. She captures the love in both the big and small moments of your day. Her prompts for posing are natural and never feel forced. We received our sneak peek album from the wedding a few weeks ago and the photos are so perfect. They really helped me get through the post wedding blues! Our friends and family were raving about how wonderful she was. A special thanks also to her brother (Marshall) who was our second shooter -- they are a total dynamic duo! I can't wait until we have another reason to use her! I can't speak highly enough!

I do not have enough nice things to say about Kayla. Even before our initial meeting I had a gut feeling she was going to be the photographer we picked. We did our engagement photos last year and my fiance and I are both not very photogenic people - but we got SO MANY amazing shots where I couldn't believe that was us. She is so positive and encouraging during the shoot and made us feel comfortable. At the wedding she took charge and made sure everyone was where they needed to be. Our ceremony got rained out and she was flexible. I don't need to get any photos back yet to know that she did an amazing job and you should not hesitate to book Kayla!

Kayla was phenomenal at our wedding! Even leading up to the day she was excellent with her communication, energy and flexibility. We postponed our Aug 2020 wedding to Aug 2021 and she was super supportive and helpful in that decision. She was able to accommodate our new date with no problems. On our wedding day Kayla (and her brother/second shooter) were so full of joy and made the day so easy. They kept us on schedule, hyped us up in the hot August weather and were full of great ideas for photo spots. Super wonderful to work with (and I haven't even received our photos yet!) - would highly recommend !!!

I can't say enough good things about Kayla! We did both our engagement shoot and our wedding day with her and she has such a talent for making people feel comfortable and capturing the little spontaneous moments. Her photos come out looking beautiful and effortless. Everyone who has seen our wedding photos commented on how amazing they looked. Kayla is afforable and so so easy to work with. We cannot recommend her enough!

We have not received all of our wedding photos yet, but I couldn't wait to write a review about Kayla. From the very first meeting Kayla was so great to work with. She was very organized, had a great idea of what we were looking for, and had a wonderful energy. Our engagement session with her was so much better than I expected (speaking as someone who doesn't really like taking photos). Our wedding day went so smoothly. She wrangled the family for photos, made sure we had every combination possible, and gave me all of the shots I could ever want. Even my family remarked that she seemed wonderful (and that's from 30 minutes of meeting her). I am in love with every photo from the sneak peak. I am so excited to see the rest! I cannot thank her enough for being a part of our day and capturing all of the wonderful memories.

Kayla is amazing to work with! She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and also takes charge to manage large family photos when needed! She's willing to try out crazy shots and backdrops to get awesome photos. Her sneak peak of photos a week after the wedding was a perfect teaser. Her edits are so beautiful and everyone commented how beautiful our photos were. Would definitely recommend Kayla!!

I don't even know how to put into words how amazing Kayla was. The moment we met her, we knew we wanted to book her. She is so friendly and sweet but also extremely professional. We first used her for our engagement photo session and were so impressed by the results. She shot photos of us in both our condo (with our pup) and on the lakefront. We ended up with so many we loved! Throughout the entire planning process, she was extremely responsive. I never once had to worry about not hearing back from her. On the day of our wedding, she was in charge! She took all of the direction I sent to her prior to the big day and made sure we got all the shots we wanted. She worked so easily with our venue and other vendors as well. Once we got all of the "formal" shots, she fit seamlessly into the background. So far we only have a preview of our photos but I love them all so much!! I cannot wait to see the rest! We both 100% would recommend Kayla to anyone. Kayla was an absolute joy to work with throughout our entire wedding planning and the day itself. She was always quick to respond to emails and had a lot of good tips for us along the way (and even sent us a sweet Christmas gift during our engagement!). On our wedding day she did a great job of staying on schedule (we even had a little extra time after pictures to relax—how great is that?) and being flexible when we remembered special pictures we wanted at the last minute. We loved her vision for all the different poses and shooting locations. Our first sneak peek of photos were beautiful and we can’t wait to see all of them—we would highly recommend Kayla Brooke Photography to anyone looking for a photographer!

First I should start by saying we did extensive research on photographers and these reviews are 100% true! After meeting with Kayla we stopped our search and went all in with her for our big day. She went above and beyond and went to our venue (a family member's house) before the wedding to find her favorite spots!! She makes you feel so at ease, never gets stressed, works great with all other vendors, and is just amazing! Though I should say I have not seen all of my photos yet, but her portfolio and the teaser photos I got speak for themselves. I cannot wait to see more. Kayla is the best!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kayla. From day one of meeting and speaking with her, I knew she was our photographer. She is incredibly down-to-earth and is passionate about what she does. I immediately felt as though she was one of my friends. On top of having a fantastic, friendly personality...she is INCREDIBLY professional! She was always extremely responsive to our e-mails and took the time to meet with me (twice!) to discuss photo ideas and specific shots that we wanted. She and her brother (second photographer) make an excellent team. On our wedding day she was a total boss! In a good way!! With two photographers and videographers intertwining with one another, she took full command in directing everyone so that we could get photos and video shots done efficiently. I also have to mention it was about 95 degrees on our wedding day and she ALWAYS had a smile on her face and had so much energy regardless of the heat! My dad's quote - "Your photographers were first class." I promise you will not go wrong choosing Kayla as your wedding photographer!! I plan to use her for future life events that need photography. I'd give her 10 stars on each category if I could! :)

My husband and I loved working with Kayla and her brother. Their talent, hard work and fun personalities made for such an awesome day with the whole wedding party. They were a big part in making sure everything ran smoothly, that we got the most out of our time while enjoying it! Through the whole wedding planning process Kayla made me feel relaxed and confident about capturing all the memories of our wedding and I am so grateful for that!

Kayla did such a wonderful job at our wedding this March! Both she and her second shooter arrived promptly and ready to start! Upon all my emails from when we met to the day of our wedding, she responded swiftly and so kindly. She helped even when it wasn't specific to her or our photography. Our wedding would not have gone half as smoothly as it did without Kayla! She's an absolute pleasure to work with and we know we'll be calling her one day when we're ready for family photos! Kayla was amazing to work with! She was really responsive through the entire process and was very flexible when it came to meeting up to discuss our wedding with us. She was great when we met with her and did a great job of answering all of our questions, not to mention, her portfolio was gorgeous! When we were within a week of our wedding, there was rain in the forecast and we had planned on taking many pictures outside, considering there was not a lot of places inside the venue that we would be able to take pictures with while our guests were there. We were worried about what we would do in the event that it rained and my mom reached out to Kayla to see what she would suggest. She was able to put our mind at ease and offered many suggestions as to what we could do at the venue in the event that it did rain (even though she had never been to our venue before). It did end up raining the day of our wedding, unfortunately, but Kayla really made the best of it and was so enjoyable to work with. She had some ideas of how we could work outside in the rain and made sure that we were comfortable with being out in the rain for a little (luckily we got a little break from the rain where it was just sprinkling a little). I loved how she worked with myself and the rest of the wedding party. I normally don't like getting my picture taken, but she made the process very easy and natural. Kayla was very affordable and we were able to get all of our pictures back within her promised timeline. They turned out beautifully. I cannot say enough good things about Kayla, she was so great to work with!

We really cannot speak highly enough of Kayla! Do not hesitate in the slightest to hire her! We are so lucky to have happened upon her and wouldn't have changed our choice for the world. She and her brother, Marshall, were such a joy and a breath of fresh air to have alongside us on our wedding day, and honestly could not recommend them highly enough. The quality of the pictures we received were absolutely amazing - They captured every little tiny moment we could have ever wanted and more! They were both such calming forces throughout the craziness that was our wedding day - and it was so nice to know that everything we needed from a photography end was taken care of. Not only were the wedding photos amazing, but our Engagement photos - Ahhh! The fact that she packages an engagement session with her price is wonderful as it was such a nice way to get to know one another, her shooting styles, and feel a little more comfortable in front of the camera prior to the big day. Another bonus - she was absolutely fantastic from a communication standpoint and almost always responded to e-mails in less than 24 hours! Book with her - you won't regret it! :)

Kayla is AMAZING. We are so lucky to have found her as our wedding photographer. Her professionalism and enthusiasm make wedding planning go so smoothly. She has a knack for finding the perfect setting and lighting for all of your shots. I also have to give a shout out to Marshall. He was such a pleasure to have around as the second shooter. They both helped make our day so fun and special, I cannot thank them enough. Our pictures came in just a few weeks ago, and we are so thrilled with how they turned out! Kayla did a great job capturing all of our special moments and truly tells the story of our wedding day through her photography.

Kayla did a beyond stellar job on our wedding photos! At our first meeting, she was so friendly and easy to get along with, that I knew I wouldn’t feel awkward or forced when being photographed (because who wants to feel like that on your wedding day?) . We had a ton of fun taking photos both as a couple and as a group. It was a bit sunny at the location I chose to take photos, but she totally made it work. They came out perfect. Would recommend her again and again!

EVERY bride needs Kayla in her life!! Kayla Brooke was the single best decision that my husband and I made during our wedding planning process. We looked into many photographers and met with a few, but Kayla is truly one-of-a-kind. Her communication and talent are unmatched! We had an amazing engagement session in negative winter weather, but Kayla made it more fun than we would ever thought possible! My husband and I weren’t huge picture takers before this, but Kayla makes you feel so comfortable! We forgot how cold we were! ☺ When we received the final product just a few weeks later, we were overwhelmed! In 90 minutes, she captured so many phenomenal photos! We couldn’t wait to share them with all of our friends and family, and we were so looking forward to having Kayla with us on our wedding day! Before the big day, Kayla was my go-to person for questions. She always responded quickly, thoroughly, and thoughtfully! She was not only a photographer, but she felt like a wedding planner and a friend! Thank you Kayla!! When Kayla and her second shooter/brother, Marshall, arrived at my parents’ house on my wedding day, I had a calming sense come over me. I knew everything was going to run smoothly now! To no surprise, Kayla and Marshall were an integral piece of our wedding day! They calmed the bridal party’s nerves and got us having fun and laughing! They created moments that you thought you would only see in a magazine! They took my vision and made into a reality! We feel so lucky that they were able to share their talents with us! Kayla can corral a big wedding party, direct them, and make magic happen! Because of Kayla and Marshall, we have photographs and memories that we will treasure for a lifetime. We CANNOT thank Kayla Brooke and Marshall enough! If my husband and I could do it all over again, we would have booked them sooner!! ☺ We hope that we will have the opportunity to work with them again for future family photographs!

Kayla did our engagement and wedding day photos. She immediately made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. She was always there to help even if it didn't have to do with photos. Kayla was quick at telling us and our bridal party how to pose so we could get to the reception. Kayla and Marshall captured every detail better than I could have ever imagined.

Couldn't be happier with my pictures!!! They are amazing, she captured everything I could have wanted and more. Also she added a nice element of calm and collected amidst the craziness of the wedding day, she was able to herd us all to where we needed to be at the right time, and was also very adaptable!!! All the pictures turned out amazing, she got so many good shots it's impossible to pick which ones will go on the wall. Could not be a bigger fan of Kayla!
