rs. My (now) husband and I initially felt uncomfortable getting our pictures taken, but with Kayla's leadership she was able to make us feel at ease. Her photos are stunning, beyond our imagination. She is a wonderful person as well as an incredibly gifted photographer. I HIGHLY recommend her as your photographer for any life event!!

ke she truly understood what we were looking for. During that initial conversation, we felt a connection to Kayla and that she was going to be an integral part of our wedding.
Kayla is more than just a phenomenal photographer – she is also a truly amazing person. My grandparents were unable to travel to the wedding location, so Kayla went out of her way to take pictures for our pre-wedding celebration with them. It meant so much my grandparents and my family to have those moments captured and it made them feel like they were a part of the wedding.
During the day of our wedding, Kayla exuded warmth and positivity wherever she went. She made everyone feel comfortable and welcome as she was taking pictures. Kayla adeptly adjusted her schedule as the day unfolded, ensuring that we were able to get the important shots we wanted while also enjoying the event itself. Looking at the photos from the wedding, Kayla’s photography not only captures the moments, but the emotions and the feeling of joy from that day, and for that we will be forever truly grateful.
We trusted Kayla in terms of the types of shots and her photojournalistic style of images, which captured the sentiment of the day without looking posed. Investing in Kayla was one of the best investments of our wedding, and we will absolutely cherish the memories that she captured for the rest of our lives.
Kayla is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. She will make you feel incredibly comfortable and calm while she uses her magic to capture your love and laughter on your beautiful ...
day. Her photos are bright, classic and timeless. Kayla is somehow a ninja during a wedding. No one sees her in action, but she captures everything! It's incredible. We had so many compliments from our guests about Kayla and we can't wait to see the rest of our wedding photos. We highly recommend Kayla Coleman. You won't be disappointed!
Kayla was absolutely amazing!!! She went above and beyond to make sure our special day was depicted perfectly! She is funny yet professional, and works with everybody to get great ...
photos that look natural. I was blown away with every photo she took on our wedding day. Each picture looks like it could be on the cover of a magazine! Her photos are vibrant and colorful, which really captured the essence of our wedding day! I would hire her again for every event if I could!!
Where to start!?
So I’ve been blessed with knowing Kayla right when she first started to dabble in photography. Right away you could tell it was her natural talent. We’ve always k...
ept in touch, even after I moved, but after I got engaged the only thing about my wedding that I was certain about was that she absolutely HAD to be my photographer! Working with this woman is super easy, she makes you feel so comfortable, and may dabble in a bit of comedy 😉 Even though my husband and I are awkward penguins she made us look like celebrities. I can’t help but sing her praise, she’s truly worth it! Thanks again Kayla!
Where do I even begin? SHE’S AMAZING first and foremost. We hired Kayla for our engagement and wedding photos and legit the best decision we made for our wedding. Kayla is not only...
the most personable and hilarious person to be around but she also makes you feel so comfortable and beautiful/handsome. My husband and I aren’t the most comfortable people in front of a camera but Kayla still managed to take incredible photos of us and make us laugh the entire time.
Kayla is timely in responding to emails/texts/calls and goes above and beyond for you. She is organized, makes helpful suggestions and has an eye for staging you for the best pictures ever. Seriously it looked like we took photos in Portland but we were in Bedford, OH. Not even kidding. I truly can’t express enough how unbelievably talented she is. If we could, we’d hire her over and over again.
Furthermore my bridal party was like herding wet cats haha, but she managed to get us all together and capture what I’m sure are photos I’ll love and cherish for the rest of our lives.
110% would recommend Kayla, I promise you you will not regret that decision.
As soon as I got engaged, Kayla was the first vendor I reached out to - I was willing to work around her availability to have her shoot our wedding because I've always been so impr...
essed by her photography. Her images are bright and joyful, and she always seems to capture the most stunning moments. It was SUCH a great time working with her for our engagement and wedding photos - she is hilarious, skillful at posing you in a way that doesn't feel posey (is that word?!), and makes you feel so cozy in front of the camera. It's clear that she genuinely cares about her couples, and after spending so many big moments with her I'm grateful to consider her a close friend. Looking through Kayla's photos of our wedding, I'm transported right back to the day. I still tear up every time I look at our album! Can't recommend Kayla enough...
Simply put, Kalya's presence will make your wedding day calmer, brighter, and more beautifully emblazened in your memory than you could possibly imagine. The moment when I panicked...
that my dress was showing a weird never-before seen crease? I turned to Kayla, she nodding assuringly and told me she'd not let me know go out there looking anything less than perfect. She cried tries of joy as my husband danced alongside his mom in her wheelchair. Simply put, Kayla is a PRESENCE - an addition to your day, not just another vendor. Stylistically she just gets it - the warmth in her photos is almost palpable, the brightness, the joy, the honesty. Nothing feels forced or posed. I was never plucked from something to get a shot. She was there, quietly, lovingly, supporting us and documenting with her artful eye the best day of our live. I love Kayla and will be shooting our maternity photos with her just shortly over a year after our wedding day <3

ctious smile.
My husband is SUPER awkward in front of a camera so he was very nervous about our engagement photos. Kayla has a wonderful way of making you feel comfortable. She brought music, told us funny stories and had us laughing, we both were at complete ease the entire time.
I am a very OCD planner (even more so planning my wedding) and sent Kayla numerous emails during the planning process. She was always very responsive and answered all of my questions in detail. Her willingness to go above and beyond is truly unparallel.
Kayla shot our rehearsal dinner and got to know our family, friends and bridal party. It was really no surprise that everyone loved her just as much as us! Having Kayla shoot our wedding day was something special. Her ability to make our entire bridal party of 22 + Family feel comfortable in front of the camera is what sets her apart.
My sister got engaged 5 months after our wedding day and her number one criteria was having Kayla as her photographer. She set her wedding date based on Kayla’s availability. I recommend Kayla to every bride!
Where to start?! My husband and I met Kayla at a wedding a couple years prior to ours and absolutely loved her work. We knew from the start of our own wedding planning process tha...
t Kayla was the only option. In fact, she was the first vendor we booked before we even nailed down a venue–no joke.
Once you meet Kayla, you’ll know why! She’s the most genuine person you will ever meet and we will instantly feel like you’ve been friends forever. She has a way of making even the most awkward people (and dogs) feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Almost a year later and we still get compliments on our photos!
Kayla was so easy to work with, professional, extremely talented and has a style all her own.
I first met Kayla after my older sister booked Kayla for her engagement and wedding day. After seeing Kayla's breathtaking work, I knew I needed her for my wedding. After getting e...
ngaged, the first thing I did was reach out to Kayla to request her availability because I knew she was the one vendor I was unwilling to compromise on. Having the opportunity to work with someone as special as Kayla was a true joy and we became fast friends throughout the planning process. She creates the most beautiful pieces of art and we will cherish our pictures forever. Your wedding day is such a special day and I cannot stress enough how important it is to find a quality photographer like Kayla. She creates magic!
I first met Kayla when she was the photographer at my friend's wedding a couple years prior and when I saw her wedding gallery I was blown away!
The most important things for me ...
when choosing a photographer were that I wanted genuine, real, happy moments to look back on. I knew we needed to have the posed photos, too - but more than anything, I wanted to look back at the pictures and laugh and smile and relive that day. I'm getting emotional just writing this review because Kayla delivered that and so much more. Our pictures are absolutely STUNNING!
During the planning process, Kayla was quick to respond and always made me feel like I was her most important client. She magically made myself and my super-shy fiance feel so comfortable behind the camera and she even inspired us to take our dream vacation/honeymoon AND encouraged us to be better humans with one of her incentive programs. I even ended up doing a boudoir shoot with her (something I NEVER thought I'd feel confident enough to do) because she just makes you feel so relaxed - like you've known her for years.
On our wedding day, Kayla kept things running smoothly and checking in with us often to make sure we didn't need anything. She made us laugh and captured truly genuine, timeless, and beautiful photos that we will look back on and truly treasure forever. I can't thank her enough for the magic she captured for us!
I can't say enough good things about Kayla! We were lucky enough to have Kayla shoot our engagement photos and wedding and she is so much more than a photographer. She took the tim...
e to get to know us as a couple and truly understand our vibe and learn so much about our relationship and it definitely shows through her photographs. The whole experience felt personal and customized. I would 10/10 recommend Kayla for weddings and plan to use her to capture all of our future special moments.

ectious! We would absolutely recommend her for engagement, wedding, or really any photo sessions!
Kayla was unreal! So amazing! The pictures she captured will be treasured forever. We planned a destination beach wedding in charleston, SC while living in NM. Kayla was super easy...
to communicate with, responded quickly to our questions, and even helped with hair and makeup ideas. We had a small wedding (50 guests) and Kayla never felt intrusive - just like another friend to share our day. She was genuine, excited, kind, and most importantly gave us the most unbelievable photos. You couldn't go wrong with Kayla, she is amazing!!!!
When I started planning my wedding, choosing a photographer was at the top of my list. I wanted our photos to showcase love, joy, beauty and to remind us of one of the happiest day...
s of our lives. Once I found Kayla's website I was hooked with the gorgeousness that is Kayla Coleman Photography. Not only do her pictures showcase love, joy, and beauty, but each photo shoot was unique and FUN - something my husband and I will never forget. Kayla has a way of making everyone feel comfortable, which is hard to do considering you're in front of her camera. Not only did I fall in love with her work, but I cannot say enough about her as a person. I left every email conversation and encounter feeling as if we were long time friends. She is creative and welcoming, but not rehearsed. She is genuine and works to capture you at your best and most natural. Kayla has definitely found her calling and her pictures show the passion she has for her work, her art, and the people she photographs. I will forever be grateful for her and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone in search of a beautiful photographer.
We booked Kayla for our engagement session and wedding and I don't even know where to start! Starting with coordinating our engagement session, she was so flexible on dates, times...
and locations. It's so easy to see with emails alone how extremely kind and thoughtful she is. She made us feel SO comfortable when taking our pictures. If you love natural light and non-posed pictures, Kayla is your person. Her ability to capture such gorgeous photos when doing the most simplest things is amazing. She is seriously worth every penny. The quality of her work and the numerous number of pictures that come out amazing is unimaginable which makes choosing favorites nearly impossible. We haven't had our wedding yet, but clearly Kayla Coleman Photography is the best decision about my wedding. Highly recommend her, just check out her website and you'll see :)

ont of the camera and orchestrated us in such a way that showed our happy and care-free spirits. Our time with her was seriously magical. I felt so in love and almost other worldly. I haven't enjoyed any of the wedding planning process, and I haven't been very excited for our wedding day. (I'm more excited for the marriage!) But being around Kayla restored me and gave me a new found joy that has me excited to marry the man of my dreams. Be prepared to laugh uncontrollably, fall in love with your significant other a little bit more, spend time with an old friend, and bawl your eyes out when you see your photos. Kayla works her ass off to provide the most exceptional photos for her clients, and I am so thankful to have our engagement photos to treasure for the rest of my life! BOOK HER NOW! You will not regret it!
