Kayla and her team made sure every aspect of my day was easy, fun, kind, and most importantly a day where I not only felt so beautiful but all of my girls, mom, and MIL felt the same way too. They were on time and went ABOVE and beyond. My day was perfect and Kayla and her team played a BIG part in that. They became our hype girls and almost like family by the time we left. Kayla and Nikki did hair and make-up for myself, my bridal party, MOB, and MOG. They made the getting ready process on our wedding day so easy as they kept to a timeline, make a great team, and made us all look BEAUTIFUL! I loved that they helped guide all of us and kept all of our looks more natural, but a more glamorous version! Kayla and her team did an amazing job with my wedding hair and makeup! I went into my wedding day and asked for a different hairstyle than what Kayla practice during the trial and she rolled with it and crushed it!!! I felt so beautiful on such an important day. Kayla is AMAZING. Not only is she incredible at hair and makeup, but she is so down to earth, personable, and SO easy to work with! I booked her for my wedding (1 bride, 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers), Kayla and her team were so professional, extremely efficient, easy to be around, and everyone was so happy with their hair and makeup! Somehow she was able to even make my long, pin-straight hair hold loose curls for the entire day without needing a helmet of hairspray, which I didn't even know was possible. I would 100% recommend her services - her pricing was extremely reasonable and she was great at communication and scheduling. 10/10!!

Kayla made me feel very comfortable right from the start. I don't wear much makeup and was nervous about having it all professionally done for just the second time in my life. Kayla picked up on my style quickly, choosing a natural but elegant look, and had everything perfect by the end of my trial. Come wedding day, she and her team did a great job allowing my wedding party to feel relaxed and in good hands as we got ready. The photos look great!

I cannot recommend Kayla enough! She and I really clicked at my trial appointment and she truly listened to what I asked for. I know very little about makeup so she took what I wanted and adapted it to what would look best on me. I loved my experience with her! My hair and makeup lasted all day and night, and I loved it!!

From our first inquiry, Kayla was so excited and willing to work with me to make all of my beauty dreams come true. At my hair and makeup trial, Kayla asked me exactly what I wanted and she executed my ideas perfectly. I oftentimes struggle with my appearance, but Kayla ensured me that I was beautiful and I was going to look beautiful on my wedding day. On the wedding day, Kayla and her team showed up bright and early. They were able to complete hair and makeup for 12 people – me, my nine bridesmaids, my mom, and my aunt. Not only did they complete the hair and makeup on time, but they were finished a whole two hours before everyone needed to be ready. This provided us with time to relax before all of the craziness began, which was so beneficial for me. I wanted all of my bridesmaids to have updos and natural makeup, and Kayla and her team gave everyone a unique and individualized look. Everyone looked so much like themselves and so beautiful. Kayla and her team were able to capture and enhance everyone’s natural beauty. Kayla and her team made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I made some changes from my trial, and they were able to accommodate those changes perfectly. I had to hold back tears when I saw myself for the first time after they completed my look – I had never felt so beautiful in my life. The way Kayla and her team were able to make me look and feel like a bride was astounding. After my hair and makeup was done, I was provided with an emergency kit full of extra bobby pins, lipstick, and other self-care goodies. This is such a special touch that makes Kayla and her team so unique. The experience Kayla and her team provided was unmatched. They made me, my bridesmaids, and my family members feel beautiful. I could not have asked for a better hair and makeup team on my wedding day.

Kayla and her team are the BEST! I have been a part of 3 (going on 4) weddings with Kayla and her team - including my own. And I have to say each and every time they have done an amazing job. I couldn't have asked for a better team to help me, my family, and my bridesmaids get ready for my big day! They are punctual, kind, and easy to work with! Kayla was nothing but wonderful when planning for my small winter Indian/American fusion wedding. She catered to my small group of 4 with just as much interest, punctuality, friendliness and care as an bridal party of 10+! She achieved beautiful looks for both the white and Indian family members and I could not recommend her enough. My makeup stayed all night and I got so many compliments on my hair. She laid my extensions perfectly and perfectly executed my vision.

I loved working with Kayla and her team on my wedding day, they were fantastic. We hired Kayla for our outdoor Summer wedding in Athens, GA. A few months before the wedding, we did my hair and makeup trial and she was even able to accommodate a trial for my mom. During the trial, she worked with us to figure out what we wanted our look to be, editing and making changes as we went. During all of this, she took extremely detailed notes on our preferences. On the day of, she arrived with her team and set up efficiently. They managed to do the entire group of bridesmaids hair and makeup swiftly and stayed on schedule the entire time. My bridesmaids were all gorgeous and the makeup enhanced their natural beauty perfectly. During the getting ready time, Kayla’s group was so fun, singing and chatting with all of us as if they were one of the friends. When she got to my mom and I, it was clear that she had studied her notes from our trials and the execution was perfect for both of us. Maybe the most impressive part was that all of our hair and make up stayed put for the entire day despite that sweet Georgia heat in July. I would pick Kayla again in a heartbeat for any hair and makeup needs!

From the beginning when I inquired, I knew I was in good hands. She responded quickly and answered all my questions with such detail. She explained that she'd be with me on wedding day, she'd be doing my trial, and she'd be communicating with me throughout. This was important to me, because so many HMU companies outsource artists and you don't even know who will be doing your hair/makeup until closer to the wedding day based on who's available! With Kayla, you know exactly what you're getting and she's good at what she does! Truly stress-free experience from start to finish. Plus she and her team are super efficient. They got 13 ladies hair/makeup done in 4 hours. Amazing!

Kayla and her crew of ladies are absolutely wonderful! They did hair and makeup for me and all of my bridesmaid plus two mother-in-laws and they did it efficiently and beautifully! I have been in so many weddings where the hair/makeup vendor gets really behind and not everyone gets their hair or makeup done. This was not the case with Kayla! She made sure to bring 4 girls and get there early enough to set-up and be ready to go right at 8am. They use top quality products and they were very safe during COVID- wearing masks and using brand new makeup packs for each girl. I can only say wonderful things about Kayla Walters Hair & makeup!

It was so great to find someone that does hair AND makeup, which really took a lot of the stress off in terms of planning and coordinating for the day-of. Kayla and her team were very professional and did a great job on our hair and makeup. I had five bridesmaids, myself and two moms getting their hair done. The two moms had their makeup done by Kayla’s team. All the hairstyles held up so well and I had girls with different hair thicknesses and lengths and everyone looked great. The moms were both very pleased with their makeup. Kayla was great to work with, responded to all my questions promptly via email and showed up on time and was very friendly. I would definitely recommend her for wedding hair and makeup!

Kayla has excellent communication and is an absolute joy to work with. I can't recommend her enough and would hire her again in a heartbeat. When vetting out vendors for my wedding, I reached out to several hair stylists in the area and was most impressed with Kayla. She took the time to get to know me. At our trial appointment, she created something even more beautiful than what I was expecting. To say that I loved how my hair looked at my trial and they day of my wedding would be an understatement. Even through hours of dancing, humidity, and an afternoon rain storm, our hair stayed beautiful all the way through the sparkler send-off. With Kayla, you don't have to worry about whether she will show up on time. She was fully prepared and ready to go. Her rates are extremely affordable, and she was on schedule if not ahead of schedule for the entire day. She has a process in place to keep everyone moving (while still creating a fun and relaxing atmosphere). Other hair stylists in the area were slow to respond (if they bothered to respond at all) and didn't seem to care about me on what should be one of the most special days of my life.
