were so helpful and patient! The salesperson found a beautiful gown that was outside my budget, but because it was a floor sample it was marked down tremendously. You would have never guessed it was a sample dress because it was in PERFECT condition. All of the associates take such good care of their dresses. They also have one of the best selection of designers I have seen compared to the dozens of bridal shops I have been in.
For a small fee they stored my dress for a little over a year. When it was time for alterations they were very helpful in telling me what I would and wouldn't need. Alterations were pretty pricey, but I didn't shop around and felt better to have a place with as much experience as Kay's take care of it. Kay herself does most, if not all of the alterations and did a wonderful job. I am also planning on having it cleaned and boxed at their location which, compared to other places I have priced, is very affordable.
I wasn't planning on purchasing a dress so early into wedding planning but Kay's helped me find the perfect one and I couldn't be happier!

ly. It's so small, quaint, and homey. I had my alterations done here, and they did a great job.
They even worked with me on the price, because they knew I purchased the dress out of budget.
They were realistic with timing and made sure I was aware of how soon I needed to get everything done.
One side note - please make sure you check your dress before leaving the store with it the week of your wedding.
I did not check mine, and there was a small hole on the bottom. I had not even opened it until the day of the wedding, so I know it was not there beforehand.
I recommend Kay's bridal, and will be recommending them to friends and family.

I found an absolutely gorgeous wedding gown that was everything I had dreamed and hoped for in a bridal dress, plus I found a beautiful veil, hair comb and garter at the shop, too. w days "left" when I could go dress shopping. So on the Saturday of my appointment, I actually had plans to visit other bridal shops if Kay's didn't work out. I needn't have worried. Kay's has many dresses in store (and I happened to be a good "average" size), so I had lots of options.
I wasn't sure what I wanted, and I was keeping an open mind, hoping a wedding-dress professional could help guide me. Vicky did that and more, without being pushy or impatient. We found the perfect dress for me AND the perfect lace jacket to give it a customized look all my own. When it came time for alterations (hem and bustle), Kay herself did them and made the whole experience quick and easy. They stored my dress and pressed/steamed it for me, which was a big relief (and a money saver). Finally, the shop has lots of "extras" to choose from: garters, jewelry, bridal straps, handkerchiefs, almost anything you'd need. I bought the sweetest little hankies for me, my mother, and my mother-in-law, and the two ladies teared up when they unwrapped them.
Overall, just a great experience at Kay's Bridal, and I highly recommend them.

The cost of alterations was very reasonable, and they held my salon in the shop until the day of the wedding for me which was great so my groom couldn't get any sneak peeks! lly; we were able to browse, but I also told sales associate Vicki what I had in mind, and she pulled some great options. I think she actually found the dress I ended up getting, in the most amazing way: she watched my reactions to dresses that matched my initial preferences, then suggested a different kind of dress. It wasn't what I planned on, but it was PERFECT! I've even gotten compliments from friends of friends/complete strangers through posting pictures on Facebook! And the best part: we ended up spending over $1000 less than we budgeted. The whole time, we were treated like family. Vicki had tons of experience and really knew her stuff, with lots of tips I never would have thought of. My wedding was across the country, and she had great advice for traveling with the dress. By the time we were done, we were on a hugging basis - the dress shopping experience every bride dreams of!
I also had good experience with fittings, and we bought the bridesmaids' dresses there. They were equally welcoming to my bridesmaids, and when there was a holdup getting one of their dresses shipped, Vicki made it her personal mission to fix it. If you're in driving distance of Kay's Bridal, you needn't shop anywhere else!

Also, the prices are clearly marked so you don't have to wonder if you are trying on something out of your comfort zone. she gave me the "are you sure" just to make sure I wasn't spending $1300 on a whim. But I'm so glad I did because I absolutely LOVED my dress! But when I went back for hemming the Owner Kay was not friendly at all. And when I went back for my final fitting, with both my MOH and my MOL they both commented on how absolutely unfriendly she was towards us. Now, I made no special requests and literally tried on 3 dresses and bought the first one I tried on, I was not a high maintenance bride. I was just surpised at Kay's lack of customer service once the process started. I felt like after my deposit was paid, it was like she didn't care anymore since I was locked in. I paid almost $400 total for my alterations which included hemming and the bustle and adding cups, the dress didn't need to be altered in any way. The bustle was terrible. I ended up holding the end of my dress all night while dancing because the bustle was done too long. When I did my final fitting, I think Kay noticed this but didn't say anything since it was two days before my wedding and I don't think she wanted to deal with it.

ed shopping there and purchasing my dress there until the fit fiasco. I was measured and was told that I was EXACTLY one size and if I ordered that size it would fit me perfectly. So I ordered the size that would fit me perfectly knowing that I was also losing weight and could have the dress taken in if it was big on me when it came in months later. I actually DID lose weight and when the dress came in it was way too small! The zipper wouldnt even reach. It was off by about two inches. It was awful. I had to pay extra for mega alterations and not to mention the stress of not knowing if your dress is going to fit you! I was doing alterations up until about a week before my wedding. I have friends who shopped here for their dresses (both lace up corsets, not a zipper like mine) and they had no problems at all. I don't know if they measured me wrong or what but it was a pretty stressful time. That said, if you are a smaller girl and are confident of your sizing you will probably be fine here. The staff is nice and they DID rush my alterations, but having to do them because I was told I was the wrong size really stinks. I would say... give them a try. My experience could have been a fluke. In the end my dress fit and was beautiful and I loved it so I guess it was worth the trouble.
