We booked Kaytlin for our wedding and were absolutely thrilled by the outcome. She made everyone feel comfortable, and the results are incredible. My husband and I are pretty laid back, and we felt she was able to guide us along to taking photos that truly captured us. A couple days after the wedding, she sent us some sneaks, and we were overcome with emotion of how she captured the day beautifully. Trust her instincts on ideas because your pictures will turn out incredible!

I was nervous about choosing the right photographer who could help capture nice photos of my camera-hating fiancé and I. My wish list was long but Kaytlin exceeded EVERY expectation. She was a calm and reassuring vendor partner on a very busy, exciting day, and I felt comfortable with she and her second shooter immediately. She really went above and beyond all day and captured everything we wanted despite our being late. Then after the wedding, we had 10 sneak peeks in a day and almost 100 before we got back from our honeymoon! I truly cannot recommend Kaytlin enough and look forward to having her hopefully capture future life moments for our family. My friend actually put a deposit on a photographer for her wedding but when she saw my photos she immediately booked Kaytlin instead! If you are reading this review, stop deliberating and book Kaytlin - you won't regret it!

From the moment we booked her, Kaytlin kept me informed on what to expect. She sent me a package that had a magazine she had published with many helpful preparation tips. This magazine was so helpful from the engagement session to the wedding details box. I used it as a guide to help me pack for the morning of our wedding. Kaytlin has taken pictures of our family before, and because of the amazing job she does, we knew she was exactly who we wanted to capture the most special day in our lives. Kaytlin has a very kind, sweet, & gentle personality. She guides you for the pictures and has a way of capturing the most beautiful angles. She also makes you feel very comfortable being yourself. Kaytlin’s assistant Liz was nothing short of amazing as well. She has a fun energetic personality, and the two are a perfect duo. Kaytlin was very flexible and was able to help me choose a perfect location for my engagement session, since the weather was changing and made it fun. She has always been prompt in returning my emails and on time. Kaytlin & Liz traveled 3+ hrs for my day. They were able to scope out my venue and tell me the best options for lighting. My picture results blew me away. I feel so lucky to have had these two capture my day. I would pick them over and over if I was asked. We will continue to travel to have Kaytlin do our family portraits because she does the best work.

Kaytlin is calm, cool, and collected, which is exactly what we needed with our very intentional and personalized wedding ceremony and reception that required a lot of moving parts. We had 275 guests and she and her second shooter were able to cover so many of them! As the bride at a wedding of this size, you miss a lot of things, but I was able to relive the day through the perfect photos and find out how much fun some of our guests had, some of whom I hadn’t actually gotten the chance to talk to that day. I am so glad we went with Kaytlin and I couldn’t recommend her more!

I wanted to find the best photographer around for my engagement and wedding pictures, I looked for a long time until I came across Kaytlin! I instantly fell in-love. She is so sweet and is very talented. Everyone always compliments our photos. I would choose her over and over again. 10000/10

Do yourself a favor and just go ahead and hire her already!! Katlyn did both our engagement photo shoot and our wedding photos and all I can say is WOW! The only downside is we will now have to make a road trip to Virginia for any future family photos because I am obsessed with Kaytlin and her work! Her and our second shooter from the big day, Liz, truly are the ultimate dream team. Having a photographer we loved was so important to us for our big day as we knew we were not going to have a videographer so we needed someone who was going to deliver. As someone who extensively researches and stalks through reviews, I can say after sifting through possibly every wedding photographer the state of Virginia had to offer - I finally landed on Kaytlins work and instantly knew she was our girl. This was reinforced by our initial phone call and every following interaction. Kaytlin is so sweet and such a calming presence, but she has such an incredible way of providing guidance and gentle direction while capturing her photos that results in extraordinarily beautiful photos that are better than you could ever imagine. She creates these stunning albums where you can FEEL the emotion and personality in them. They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and her style is such a testament to that. We are typically that super awkward couple who hates having their photo taken and I infamously hate every photo we ever take together, so I was absolutely floored when we received our first gallery back and I was absolutely obsessed with every single photo. The wedding album was no exception, and it was so amazing having a familiar face the day of the wedding in all the chaos. We loved working with Liz too, all of the guys in the wedding party who were complaining about having to arrive early for photos the night before our wedding raved about how much fun they had during their guys photo shoot with Liz. Can’t say enough great things about these ladies - their work, their professionalism, and their kindness. Thank you for being apart of our big day, we will treasure these memories for the rest of our lives. ♥️

Before we had even booked our venue, I knew I wanted to hire Kaytlin to be our wedding photographer. She is so incredibly talented and her work is beautiful. Not only that but she is quick to respond and kind as well. She helped us choose a location for our engagement shoot and provided advice on outfits. She was patient and made us feel so comfortable and we were so excited to receive our engagement pictures because it really validated our decision for her as our wedding photographer. On the wedding day itself, she and her second shooter, Liz were so much fun to work with and there is no one else that could've captured our wedding day like them. The way Kaytlin shoots and edits photos are magical and my husband and I were ecstatic to have her capture our engagement and wedding day. Her pictures will last a lifetime and we can easily look at them and be taken back to that moment.

Kaytlin was absolutely wonderful! Both my fiancé and I were worried about posing in front of the camera but she made us feel so comfortable and natural. I couldn’t believe how stunning our pictures turned out! She’s incredibly talented and not just that but she’s also extremely sweet and personable. Kaytlin was such a joy to have photograph our engagement shoot and wedding! She’s so nice, professional, and responsive. Throughout the entire process she responded to emails or text messages in less than a day. She offered advice on engagement shoot outfits, our wedding timeline, and other wedding vendors. We had so much fun with her and her second photographer, Liz, during our wedding day. They made my wife and I feel so comfortable throughout the entire day and captured everything perfectly. We love all of the candid photos they captured of everyone’s genuine laughs and smiles. The photos are so fun to admire and think back to our wedding day. We were shocked when we received around 70 sneak peak photos the day after our wedding and so many in the full album. All of our guests are obsessed with the pictures and can’t stop raving about how amazing they are. I’ve never seen so many different guests photographed during a wedding. We were so lucky to have Kaytlin and Liz and can’t wait to use them again in the future. We can’t recommend them enough! I’d rate them 10 out of 5 stars if I could.

Kaytlin was amazing! We had to reschedule several times from our original date in 2020 and she was so accommodating and helpful as we planned (and then re-planned) our day. Both she and her second shooter were so nice and fun to have around throughout the day, but kept us on track and made sure we got all the pictures we wanted/needed. I'm so glad they were both a part of our day! And the pictures are wonderful - everyone loves them. All the portraits and group shots are perfect, but they also did such a great job capturing how much fun the dance floor was with all the candids! Kaytlin has been wonderful to work with. My now husband and I met with her in 2019 to plan our wedding, with plans for May 2020. She did our engagement photos and was so personable, and very flexible with us! She is very easy going and helped both my husband and I feel relaxed and fun during our photos. When rescheduling our wedding (twice) during the pandemic, she as easy to reach and open to the changes. She maintained contact with me throughout and also helped me develop my timeline. The day of the wedding she and her 2nd shooter were so fun to be around and also helped us feel more relaxed. Honestly, I barely knew she was there during the ceremony and reception. I have received my wedding photos now and there are so many to choose from, it's hard to decide what I want to post and print. She took so many candid photos with all of our loved ones, but also so many of the wedding party. She and her second shooter went through the photo list efficiently (as I asked) after the wedding so my husband and I could have some time at the cocktail party. I would 100% recommend Kayltin for any type of event, and can't wait to use her as our lives progress!

When we were searching for a wedding photographer, we didn’t just want photos that were beautiful, but also photos that captured the essence and character of our love story. Kaytlin caught on quickly that we didn’t take ourselves too seriously, and our photos reflect that! We are so happy that the vibrant colors of our fall wedding, the emotions of the day, and our love for each other came through in our photos. Kaytlin has been so pleasant to work with each step of the way- from a million silly questions at the beginning, to a million more panicked questions once we had to change our original wedding plans due to COVID-19. Among all the replanning chaos, it was SO nice to have one less thing to worry about. We knew that no matter what our wedding would end up looking like, Kaytlin would be there with a calm smile willing to roll with it! Of course, her team would not be complete without her spirited sidekick Liz! Between them, they made us feel comfortable in front of the camera. They were even willing to accommodate our quick engagement photo timeline, even though it meant Kaytlin had to walk around the city with us while nearly nine months pregnant! Planning and replanning a wedding is stressful, but knowing we had a photographer who was willing to be flexible, mailed us little gift packages of encouragement along the way, and was easily reachable proved to be invaluable. Though we wish we could have stuck with our original wedding plans, we are excited to have another opportunity for Kaytlin to capture our Wedding Part 2 next year!

This. Photographer. Y’all. Kaytlin (and her beautiful trusty sidekick Liz) made the experience of getting photographed on our special day feel effortless and comfortable. My husband and I are very blessed in many ways, but being naturals in front of the camera is NOT one of them, but with Kaytlin’s genuine talent you would NEVER know that looking at our photos!!! She did such a phenomenal job capturing so many beautiful moments of the most magical day. Beyond just being extremely talented, Kaytlin was constantly so genuine and understanding with all of the last minute changes we had to make as a covid couple, never once complaining and always being insanely flexible to make things as easy as possible for us. I can’t even begin to rave about how excited I am to use her again next year for our postponed “big” wedding post pandemic. You will never ever regret hiring this woman, not even for a second! By the end of the day, she literally felt like family, and the few family members we had at our covid micro wedding actually came up to me multiple times just to tell me how wonderful she was (as if I didn’t already know). I would recommend Kaytlin to absolutely anyone for their wedding!

My wedding plans were falling apart due to COVID and Kaytlin gave me some great ideas on how to still make it happen! I appreciate that so much because being a bride in 2020 has been so stressful. None of my other vendors would work with me on the changes so she was a HUGE help. Not to mention it poured down raining on my wedding day and with all the changes we had no backup for rain, besides umbrellas. Working with Kaytlin throughout our engagement was such a wonderful experience. Her kind, calm demeanor was comforting not only on the wedding day, but throughout the entire planning process. Kaytlin was AMAZING! I’m a Coronavirus bride and I went back and forth for months with different backup dates and were we or weren’t we getting married on our original date. Kaytlin checked in often, she worked with me on dates, she made me feel at ease with everything going on. I was her first wedding since everything and she KILLED it! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Kaytlin and the gorgeous photos she shot, edited and provided us with. I cannot stop looking at them, and have been known to shed a tear or two while looking over them! I am so obsessed with them I keep finding new ways to have them printed! Honestly, I don't even know where to start! Kaytlin is amazing. She made sure we felt comfortable, took the most natural pictures, sent 13 pictures to us the day after the wedding, and even took us to go take pictures with our fur child. I cannot get over how great the sneak peeks are. The pictures speak for themselves!

Kaytlin was awesome from the moment I reached out to her. She responded every single time pretty quickly and always answered any questions. One thing I really liked about her is she sent me a questionnaire to fill out that was all based on me and my husbands expectations, likes, wants, etc., so that she could know us on a better level and deliver the best possible wedding pictures. That showed me that she really cared about what we wanted and who we are as people. She had completely fulfilled our vision during our engagement session and did a great job on our wedding as well. I loved that we got a personalized pin drive with all of our pictures on it about a month after our wedding. The day of our wedding was not stressful at all with her, she never made us feel pressured or awkward. We barely noticed she was there which was a really good thing because we got to take in every single moment while she captured it quietly. Highly recommend her!!

Kaytlin and her team member were awesome. Before the wedding, communication was easy and I was able to express my hopes and goals for photography the day itself. Then the wedding day was so rainy but they were willing to venture out with umbrellas for the best pictures! They really worked with my preferences but also were more creative than I could have been. I loved her chill attitude as there was no added stress. I knew I would value pictures but I don’t like taking pics in the moment usually...that day they made it really fun and some of my highlights were walking around doing pics with my now husband. So grateful for Kaytlin and her great work!!
