KC DJ Unlimited

y! He played the perfect amount of genres on our lists and it was a great mix to keep the party going!!

asy to communicate back and forth with. He made last minute changes for us that we requested with no problem at all! I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a DJ!

d it to be. He respected our music choices and made sure to not play the songs on our "Do Not Play" list, even when they were requested by guests! He kept the party going all night and took our lead to make sure the night was exactly what we wanted it to be. The guests loved being able to text him requests. He was professional, respectful, easy to work with, and made sure that our mutual love of music was perfectly represented on our big day. My only regret is that I didn't spend every song out there dancing!

ll out and gave helpful opinions! He added up-lighting for us last minute and brought glowsticks to the party, which was a fun surprise! The song choices kept the party going all night and he made sure no songs on the "do not play" list were not played, even if they were requested by our guests! Chris was an amazing vendor to work with and I would recommend him to anyone in the KC area. You're the best, Chris!

le times and having a very inclusive questionare to ensure he played to our/our guests style. He allowed for a few last minute changes such as adding up lights as well. He is a great choice!

ld recommend.

uest we had to announce our wedding party at the reception in more of a "sports line-up" kind of way, which was super fun! Whatever your preferences are, it seems like Chris will make sure you have what you need from him on your big day!

he stuck with us through the entire process! He did a great job with the music and lighting for both the ceremony and reception - he provided us with a form that we filled with deep cuts for cocktail hour, and it was a delight to hear them while we entertained out guests. We had a packed dance floor all night! We'd happily hire him again for any event!

pects of planning. And THE MUSIC! FANTASTIC selections and kept the night moving along.

our DJ! He made everything so easy for us which is so important on your wedding day when there are so many details flying around. He was very organized, communicated well, and super reliable. Would definitely want to use him again if I ever needed a DJ for an event in the future!

commented so many times about how the music just kept them out there dancing all night, and we couldn't agree more! He was engaging with the party when he needed to be and got everyone where they needed to go on time for the grand entrance and exit. It was perfect! We had a New Orleans style Second Line for our grand exit and Chris executed it PERFECTLY for having been his very first one. He took the time to research what it was, gave the guests a brief explanation of what they needed to do, and kept the party flowing right out the door for the exit. If I could recommend Chris to every single bride I met, I would. His prices are SO reasonable, his services are incredible, and he is such a great person. Thank you so much Chris!!

obnoxious! He did great with the music selection based on the music planner we had sent him. I would rehire immediately!

older than anticipated, but with Chris's help, he kept the dance floor busy all night with the perfect mix of music and everyone was able to stay warm and we had the best time ever!

solutely delivered. The dance floor was rocking all night long - no awkward pauses or dull moments! We were so impressed by his professionalism and attention to detail. Not only is he good at what he does, he has a great personality that's easy-going and fun. Chris is an unbelievable value for the quality you receive. If you're looking for a DJ, look no further! Chris is your guy!

looking for in a DJ! Chris is very organized and has put together a Reception Planner which guides you in determining the details and timeline of the evening prior to your wedding day. It also encourages you to list songs you for sure want played, those you do not, and what types of music you enjoy. About a week or two before your wedding date, Chris will set up a phone meeting to discuss what you have written. After that conversation, I felt so much relief knowing that my special day was in good hands and that Chris would be worrying about keeping thing moving well on the day of the wedding so that I wouldn’t have to. As such, we were able to simply relax and enjoy our special day! In addition to his organization, Chris is personable and thoughtful. He is quite easy to talk to and responsive to emails, typically responding within 24 hours. This was a huge blessing when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 and had to pick a new wedding date in a timely manner before slots started getting filled by others in the same boat. Finally, he helped us implement different ways to help promote safety amongst our guests by keeping an eye on the buffet line to ensure social distancing as well as placing “text song request cards” on the tables. If you want someone who will treat you as a person and not a paycheck or who will DJ your wedding with the amount of care as if it were the wedding of a close friend, then we recommend booking Chris with KC DJ Unlimited! You will be so glad you did!

music we liked and emceed the wedding better than we could have hoped! Would recommend Chris to anyone!

ng our reception such a great time! He created the vibe we were looking for and made it a great experience for us and our guests!

thing we asked for so smoothly into our big day, mixing music genres and music in different languages from beginning to end! During the reception, he knew exactly what to play to get people dancing and having fun throughout the night! Our guests absolutely loved that he brought glow sticks to the party! They were such a fun addition to the late night dancing! Overall, you couldn't ask for a better DJ for your wedding day! Thank you so much again, Chris!!

ents from our guests not only about the music, but also about how funny and warm our DJ was. Prior to the wedding, Chris met with us on multiple occasions to make sure the music and reception was just the way we wanted it, which is a testament to just how much professionalism he brings to his work. He is flexible, creative, and helped us so much in the planning stages. We would highly recommend Chris for your reception. Ours would not have been the same without his presence. Five stars and four thumbs up from this couple!

yed a great selection of music and was very receptive to what we and our guests were enjoying throughout the night. Our guests were all very complimentary of Chris and we would highly recommend using him for your wedding reception.

so easy to communicate with whenever I had a question before our wedding day. Also during the wedding, he was great about finding us and checking if we were ready for the next part. What was also refreshing is that Chris was very straightforward about pricing. Everything went so smooth. I thought about just making my own playlist for our wedding to save on costs since weddings can get so expensive. But honestly, Chris was very worth it. He was able to read the room and keep people dancing all night, something that you can’t really do with creating your own playlist. Trust me, you will def not regret booking him!

w in some hit songs he had used in previous weddings. Our guests were on the dance floor from the minute it opened until the music stopped. Chris even played one more encore song (with permission) after he started packing up & realized the group wanted more. Many of our friends have reached out asking for his contact information so that they could potentially use him for their future weddings. Highly recommend!!

ENCE, but not in a pushy way. For every part of the reception, he gave us the option to do anything we wanted, from choosing an exact time range of an exact song to writing "DJ" and having him pick music for us. A lot of details go into making a successful wedding reception and we were nervous about it, but Chris made it all seem manageable. He helped us avoid some rookie wedding planning mistakes (like planning events like the bouquet toss after the photographers have already left) and made last-minute adjustments during the night seem effortless. Simply put, Chris is fantastic and if you book him, your reception will be too.

stuff we asked for and the rest of the time filled in the gaps perfectly to keep everyone having a good time. It couldn't have gone any better. If you need an amazing wedding DJ, Chris is your guy.

eally easy to get in touch with through email and phone call, and we even arranged an in-person meeting with him a few months out to just get an idea of the order of ceremonies. An important thing to note is that we didn't have a wedding coordinator but we didn't even need one as once the party begun Chris took over everything and ran the show! Leading up to the wedding I contacted Chris as my father and I wanted to plan a mashup song to surprise my husband and everyone at the wedding. Chris helped me so much by creating this song and made three versions just to make sure it was perfect! He was so patient during this process and we cannot thank him enough as this really set the tone for all the dancing. All our guests loved him and the music. It did help that we gave him a list of guest requests before the wedding so he had an idea of what crowd he was playing to. People were dancing ALL night! Make no mistake and book Chris for your wedding; you won't regret it!

o get. He is super easy to work with and will also keep the night flowing nicely! I would recommend and use Chris again! Thank you for making our day so special!!

hen to throw in something else in the same vein to keep the party going! He brought glow sticks with him, and those were a HUGE hit. The guests really enjoyed the night thanks to him. He is very skilled with all kinds of sound technology, and he masterfully emceed the cocktail hour, the toasts, a short speech from us during dinner, special dances, and important announcements. Chris was also kind, responsive, and very easy to work with. Thanks, Chris!

uide was easy to use, and he was very helpful when we chatted over the phone regarding the type of music we wanted at our ceremony. The music at the reception was great and just what we preferred. He took our few song suggestions and curated a list of songs that our guests danced to all night. The reception was a blast, and Chris played a huge part in making that happen. Highly recommend!

s to be specific, time-sensitive packages, or tons of hidden "add on" costs) . Chris was completely upfront and transparent about his price which was affordable and reasonable. He responded to a request for a quote quickly and communicated clearly and with plenty of time for us to plan accordingly. We knew exactly what we would pay and were able to get everything that we wanted. As an eclectic couple that met because of music; we knew going into it that we would be asking for all sorts of deep cuts, non-traditional tunes, and interesting requests. As a result, we knew that we would need someone who has a real love of music. Chris clearly loves music and is organized, kind, accommodating; and gave us a totally memorable experience. All of our guests have commented that it was one of the most fun weddings that they have attended and Chris was a huge part of creating that atmosphere. I have already recommended Chris to several people that I know planning events. I would work with him again in an instant! Look no further for your DJ!

le for me. He brings all his own set up and equipment and makes sure that only the music YOU want will be played at the wedding. He was our MC as well and made sure that everything flowed in a timely manner and offered to stay later if we felt we weren’t ready to close down yet! I highly recommend him for your event, one of a kind!

s well! He did a great job with the playlist and played just the right songs to get people dancing! He did a great job with MC'ing as well and stayed on track with my schedule of the reception! He stayed in communication with me even on the day of and made sure we were ready for the next thing on the schedule before he announced it. I think he did just awesome and I would highly recommend booking him for your event!!

e commented to me (unsolicited) that they thought “our DJ was fabulous!” Each of those people said generally the same things: That you played background music that was soft enough it didn’t disrupt conversations, but not so soft and mellow that it sounded like elevator music. That once in a while they would pause to listen, and the songs were ones they enjoyed. But mostly they just focused on chatting with the birthday guy, or with friends they hadn’t seen in a while. Your music made the occasion seem festive, friendly, comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable.

limited time as well!

was so quick to respond and gave great advice and feed back to every question and comment we had! At the wedding I noticed people walking around with glow sticks and I was like wow where did they get these, then I noticed Chris had them set up on his DJ table. So fun what a nice unexpected touch! : )

of state, but he knew exactly what to ask before hand so that he was prepared. The music during the reception kept everyone on the dance floor and he even brought glows sticks for everyone which was a crowd pleaser. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing a DJ for any event.

the-top, and that's exactly who Chris is! His questionnaire that we filled out for him was followed to a tee. He played all the music we wanted and did a great job of keeping the dance floor filled. His ability to keep the reception timeline that we created was also greatly appreciated. We cannot recommend Chris highly enough!

ssed that as a single-man show, he was able to keep the dance floor full until closing time. Prior to the wedding, Chris provided us a ceremony/reception song planner to complete, he set aside time to talk to us over the phone to make sure our particular requests were met, and visited the venue beforehand. Even though our ceremony/reception were both at the same venue, the ceremony was outdoors by the Sunken Garden and the reception in the back of the house within the Pavillion (outdoor tent). Chris willingly and seamlessly transferred his set-up between the inside and outside areas. During the reception, Chris was able to use our specific song selections and weave in other classics to get our parents, family, and friends up on the dance floor. Chris has a laid-back nature, is adaptable, and was perfect for our non-traditional wedding. We would highly recommend to anyone who needs an exceptional DJ at their event!

nd very responsive to your questions. We highly recommend using Chris for your DJ needs!

, and when not to. He also included my wacky favorite song (which is totally not wedding appropriate) which we appreciated a lot. Chris also served as the emcee without intruding into the event at all. He was awesome.

what we wanted to hear during the wedding. He was very nice and cordial along the way as well. A fantastic vendor in every sense of the word! We will recommend Chris for anyone we know looking for DJ services.

on out the details of our wedding reception prior to our special day allowing us to not have to stress about the flow of the reception. He did a great job sticking to music we requested and keeping the dance floor packed all night. So happy we found Chris and he was able to help us create and celebrate our special day.

easy to work with, from the first consultation all the way to final prep call the week leading up to the wedding. Chris had a great worksheet for determining the reception flow, which simplified our decision-making process for the evening. His setup was perfect for a big crowd of children (we had 51 kids at our wedding!) and the glow sticks were a huge hit. Everyone danced nonstop throughout the night, it was a great time.

nd remaining very flexible. He accommodated all (and many) special requests, kept the dance floor hopping all night, and was a pleasure to work with. I would absolutely recommend him and hope to use him for another event in the future ! Additionally, his pricing is so fair and simple - he doesn't nickle and dime you and goes above and beyond to make the night fun !

ighly recommend him!
