Chris did an amazing job! He kept the dance floor packed all night and did a fantastic job at playing songs that every age group would dance to! He was very well organized and so easy to communicate back and forth with. He made last minute changes for us that we requested with no problem at all! I would highly recommend him if you are looking for a DJ!

Chris was a dream to work with as a DJ. He made the planning super easy with a very extensive planning document with varied questions to make sure the day was exactly what we wanted it to be. He respected our music choices and made sure to not play the songs on our "Do Not Play" list, even when they were requested by guests! He kept the party going all night and took our lead to make sure the night was exactly what we wanted it to be. The guests loved being able to text him requests. He was professional, respectful, easy to work with, and made sure that our mutual love of music was perfectly represented on our big day. My only regret is that I didn't spend every song out there dancing!

Chris was awesome! From our initial meeting to the big day, he was great to work with. Christ did an amazing job. He had great music choices playing the entire night. Leading up to the even he was nothing short of amazing making sure to speak with us in person multiple times and having a very inclusive questionare to ensure he played to our/our guests style. He allowed for a few last minute changes such as adding up lights as well. He is a great choice!

Chris was really personable and prepared when it came to DJing our wedding in early October 2021. He was a good sport and went along with what may have seemed like a ridiculous request we had to announce our wedding party at the reception in more of a "sports line-up" kind of way, which was super fun! We hired Chris for what was originally supposed to be our April 2020 wedding, and wound up being our October 2021 wedding. It's a testament to his friendliness and flexibility that he stuck with us through the entire process! He did a great job with the music and lighting for both the ceremony and reception - he provided us with a form that we filled with deep cuts for cocktail hour, and it was a delight to hear them while we entertained out guests. Chris was a truly amazing DJ! He was super responsive via email and phone and really spent the time to curate the best wedding playlist we could have asked for. We had a New Orleans style Second Line for our grand exit and Chris executed it PERFECTLY for having been his very first one. We are thrilled that we ran into Chris from KC DJ Unlimited at a wedding expo. After reaching out to learn more about him and his services, we knew that he was exactly what we were looking for in a DJ! Chris is very organized and has put together a Reception Planner which guides you in determining the details and timeline of the evening prior to your wedding day. It also encourages you to list songs you for sure want played, those you do not, and what types of music you enjoy. About a week or two before your wedding date, Chris will set up a phone meeting to discuss what you have written. After that conversation, I felt so much relief knowing that my special day was in good hands and that Chris would be worrying about keeping thing moving well on the day of the wedding so that I wouldn’t have to. As such, we were able to simply relax and enjoy our special day! In addition to his organization, Chris is personable and thoughtful. He is quite easy to talk to and responsive to emails, typically responding within 24 hours. This was a huge blessing when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19 and had to pick a new wedding date in a timely manner before slots started getting filled by others in the same boat. Finally, he helped us implement different ways to help promote safety amongst our guests by keeping an eye on the buffet line to ensure social distancing as well as placing “text song request cards” on the tables. Chris did an amazing job DJing our wedding. He totally understood the vibes that we were going for, and so many of our guests told us that he was great! He was very responsive and so easy to communicate with whenever I had a question before our wedding day. Chris did a FANTASTIC job at our wedding! From the start he was extremely easy to work with and responsive. He let us pick the majority of our songs, but also wasn't afraid to throw in some hit songs he had used in previous weddings. Our guests were on the dance floor from the minute it opened until the music stopped. Chris even played one more encore song (with permission) after he started packing up & realized the group wanted more. Book Chris for your wedding!!! We're definitely glad that we did. Our guests had a great time. Chris is talented, kind, and super easy to work with. He has this thing down to a SCIENCE, but not in a pushy way. For every part of the reception, he gave us the option to do anything we wanted, from choosing an exact time range of an exact song to writing "DJ" and having him pick music for us. A lot of details go into making a successful wedding reception and we were nervous about it, but Chris made it all seem manageable. He helped us avoid some rookie wedding planning mistakes (like planning events like the bouquet toss after the photographers have already left) and made last-minute adjustments during the night seem effortless. Simply put, Chris is fantastic and if you book him, your reception will be too.

We had the best wedding party ever thanks to Chris! From the moment we had our first talk with him we had a great feeling and were really impressed by his professionalism. He was really easy to get in touch with through email and phone call, and we even arranged an in-person meeting with him a few months out to just get an idea of the order of ceremonies. An important thing to note is that we didn't have a wedding coordinator but we didn't even need one as once the party begun Chris took over everything and ran the show! Leading up to the wedding I contacted Chris as my father and I wanted to plan a mashup song to surprise my husband and everyone at the wedding. Chris helped me so much by creating this song and made three versions just to make sure it was perfect! We didn’t just use Chris for one wedding, but two. He did such a great job at my sisters wedding, five years ago, that when it was my turn to get married I knew what DJ we needed to get. Chris was amazing! When we first started asking DJ's for quotes we found many of them to either have a lot of limitations (song catalogues to choose from without real opportunities to be specific, time-sensitive packages, or tons of hidden "add on" costs) . Chris was completely upfront and transparent about his price which was affordable and reasonable. Chris was an absolute gem to work with! He did my brother in laws wedding and was so good we just had to have him for our wedding. He was so easy going and made the process so simple for me. And several people commented to me (unsolicited) that they thought “our DJ was fabulous!” Each of those people said generally the same things: That you played background music that was soft enough it didn’t disrupt conversations, but not so soft and mellow that it sounded like elevator music. That once in a while they would pause to listen, and the songs were ones they enjoyed. But mostly they just focused on chatting with the birthday guy, or with friends they hadn’t seen in a while. Your music made the occasion seem festive, friendly, comfortable, relaxed, and enjoyable.

Chris was so wonderful! We booked him quite in advance and he was great a keeping in touch with us. Chris was the DJ at our wedding last October at Longview Mansion and knocked it out of the park! We had a moderately sized guest list (~160 attendants) and we were incredibly impressed that as a single-man show, he was able to keep the dance floor full until closing time. Prior to the wedding, Chris provided us a ceremony/reception song planner to complete, he set aside time to talk to us over the phone to make sure our particular requests were met, and visited the venue beforehand. Even though our ceremony/reception were both at the same venue, the ceremony was outdoors by the Sunken Garden and the reception in the back of the house within the Pavillion (outdoor tent). Chris willingly and seamlessly transferred his set-up between the inside and outside areas. During the reception, Chris was able to use our specific song selections and weave in other classics to get our parents, family, and friends up on the dance floor. Chris has a laid-back nature, is adaptable, and was perfect for our non-traditional wedding. We would highly recommend to anyone who needs an exceptional DJ at their event!

Chris was absolutely awesome. He did a great job of mixing together our music preferences so the party kept going at good pace. He read the room well and knew when to take requests, and when not to. KC DJ Unlimited was exactly what we were looking for for our wedding day -- a local DJ service that didn’t nickel and dime us by the hour for a full night of dancing. Chris was so easy to work with, from the first consultation all the way to final prep call the week leading up to the wedding. Chris had a great worksheet for determining the reception flow, which simplified our decision-making process for the evening. His setup was perfect for a big crowd of children (we had 51 kids at our wedding!) and the glow sticks were a huge hit. Everyone danced nonstop throughout the night, it was a great time.

Chris was amazing! My wife and I hired Chris to DJ at our wedding reception in Lawrence, KS. Chris was a pleasure to work with. Although it's impossible to please every person at an event, I'd say about 90% of our crowd was very pleased with him. He had a lot of people on the dance floor, and had great lights and a good set-up. He came prepared with all the equipment and was extremely easy to work with. Chris was amazing! He was the only DJ that I contacted that kept in constant communication with me. I chose him because of his fantastic reviews and great customer service. We hired Chris to also do our ceremony music on top of our reception, and it was not a big deal to him at all! He gave us a very detailed worksheet to fill out and then we just gave him a script for the ceremony! Chris was incredible!! He took our list of 150 songs and arranged them into a cohesive, flowing playlist that fit both the dinner and dancing. He did a phenomenal job adjusting the playlist so the dance floor was always full. He accommodated our request for karaoke at the end of the night- and even more impressively, he adjusted on the fly when that wasn't as popular as we expected. Excellent!!!

I used Chris for my April 18, 2015 wedding. He was very adaptable to what we needed, especially after we had to move the ceremony indoors due to the weather. He knows what he's doing and does it well. He provided the lighting for the dance floor area, and played exactly the music we requested. This was literally the hardest thing about our wedding - picking a dj, picking songs, and sticking with them. Chris was excellent in helping us make this process smooth. He was willing to meet as many times as we needed. As we got closer to the wedding, we started to panic as we realized we couldn't think of a few more songs to fill some time slots - but as soon as we told Chris, we felt at ease. It seemed he came prepared with suggestions and was always positive. I think the biggest compliment we got about our DJ was how funny he was. Oh and let me not forget - no babysitting was needed; he was at the reception an hour early, set up and ready to go. Best night of our lives and Chris didn't disappoint. Thank you, Chris!

Chris was a great DJ for our wedding. From our initial e-mail exchanges, to our in-person meeting, to our discussions about the reception plan, and to the day itself, Chris was consistently responsive, professional, helpful, and accommodating. He expertly handled the emceeing during dinner and the DJing during dancing. He worked with us to provide the service we wanted on a budget we could afford. Our guests had a great time, as did we. If I could do it all over again, I'd still hire Chris to do the job.

Chris was truly awesome to work with. Our music was VERY important to us, and our DJ, Chris, was literally the first person who booked. We're both big on dancing- and wanted to make sure we had someone who could understand both of our tastes, as well as the flow of the party- to make sure everyone had a good time. And boy did we- the majority of our wedding guests never left the dance floor. Both of our Grandmother's said it was the best and most fun wedding they have ever been to- and much of that was attributed to Chris. Not only did he make our reception fun, but he was very professional. We relied on him heavily to move the flow of the party- which he did with no problem. Even our guests commented on how great he was. He was expedient with any request- and we changed everything from songs- to who we were doing our first dances with up until the week of the wedding. All around, great service- we would both definitely recommend for your next event!

If you are looking for a courteous, respectful, professional, easy going DJ for your wedding and want to be confident they will meet and listen to your requests, then Chris is your guy! Chris was easy to work with and was very flexible in planning the agenda for the evening. For a very reasonable price and no hidden costs we could not have asked for a better person to work with.

Chris was an awesome DJ and perfect for our day. He was very attentive to our individual requests, coordinated with the bride's mother on a slide show, and conducted the events of the evening well. He also worked very well with other vendors. We loved that towards the end of the night the guests were able to make requests, and I am pretty sure I saw guests going through his laptop looking for music (and he handled it very well).

My husband and I were planning a reception party after our wedding in Arkansas. We met with Chris (KC DJ Unlimited) a few months before our event to get a feel for what we wanted. Chris was so interested in getting to know who we were and what we represented as a couple. Music means so much to me and my husband, and Chris was dedicated to capturing that! He never once tried to step over what we wanted, but always made suggestions to help us along-many things we had never thought of but LOVED! At the actual event, he was a pleasure to work with. He really took control of the MC role, just as we needed him to do. The whole event moved along SO smoothly, and at the end of the night, our whole crowd was dancing! I personally had a BLAST, and everyone had wonderful compliments to say about our DJ. I would recommend Chris to anyone! He is creative, kind, personable, dedicated, and fun! I will always think back to these wonderful memories that Chris helped create for us!

Chris did a great job customizing our music selections, he was very flexible and easy to work with through the planning process and very professional the day of the wedding. He had a great sense of the mood and kept the party going. He also catered to our international and older crowd by playing a few esoteric songs. We were so, so lucky to have had Chris as the DJ for both our wedding ceremony and our reception. He was everything we could have asked for in a DJ. From the first meeting, he was incredibly helpful, genuine, and professional. As a busy bride, it was nice to know that I had someone as great as Chris taking care of such a big part of our wedding. He was always available to answer questions, provide suggestions, and support us in any way. Throughout the planning process, I was certainly indecisive about certain things, and Chris was always so great about helping and making sure he got every detail right! ...He even remembered and thought of details that I didn't! My husband and I had known Chris for several years when we got engaged, so it was a no brainer to ask him to be our DJ. He was so nice and easy to work with. He played exactly what we wanted to hear, and even took requests. There were some last minute additions to our wedding party entrance and he handled it perfectly. Our venue was split between two different rooms, which could be difficult, but I didn't notice it being difficult for him. He managed to keep our reception together and flowing perfectly. Hiring Chris for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. He was very easy going and always answered calls or emails in a very timely manner. He worked with us before the wedding to get a feel for what kind of music we liked and had great suggestions for where to play some of our favorite but not so danceable songs. Everyone had an amazing time at our reception. Chris not only played music my husband and I like, but really catered to our friends and family. We had everyone out on the dance floor most of the night. Chris checked with us if there was a request for something from the do-not-play list. My husband and I hired Chris Brower for our wedding and we couldn't have been happier with our decision. The music was something that was really important to both of us. We wanted music that all of our guests, young and old, would love, so we took requests prior to the wedding. Chris was able to play all of the songs on our long list- the classics like "At Last", and even the ridiculous, like Jimi Hendrix's rendition of the "Star Spangled Banner". I live just outside of Washington D.C., but am originally from Missouri and wanted a wedding in my home state. Therefore, I did not get to meet Chris Brower face-to-face until the day of the wedding. I was nervous that this could cause problems, as all of our planning took place over phone or e-mail. However, everything was perfect! Chris did a fantastic job.
