able to exceed my expectations. We had a large 5 tier cake with drip, and watercolor like features, then Kim added in a touch of sparkle and it was absolutely perfect! We received many compliments on how gorgeous our cake was. We had three flavors, lemon, pink champagne, and strawberry. When we did our tasting we had so much cake we were enjoying it for what felt like weeks. All of the flavors were great it made choosing very difficult. Kim delivered, and set it up in a very timely manner. Kim was also very easy to work with when it came to rescheduling our wedding due to COVID. She was fast at responding and always staying in touch to keep up to date on the progress etc. The only minor complaint I had was that the box we received to save the top tier was a bit large and it got dumped pretty badly during transport but we “glued” it back together per say and will see how it goes in a year. I would use Kim again over and over, and have suggested her to other brides in the future.

Completely grateful and thankful we found KC Cake Lady and are now only using for all celebrations in the future! Could have been happier! I was getting married my grandma was no longer able to make wedding cakes. One day someone shared the KC cake lady (Kim) Facebook post, saying “Look at these cakes!“. Knowing that I wanted a detailed groom’s cake as a surprise to my husband, I decided to reach out to her and get some quotes. She was very quick to respond and the price for the quality of the cakes was very reasonable! We tried 6 flavors and couldn’t have went wrong with any. We ended up doing butter, strawberry, and red velvet for our 3 tier wedding cake and chocolate for the 2 tier groom’s cake. I had even changed my mind in the groom’s cake sending her a different picture and she was just fine with it. When I finally got to see our cakes at our wedding, they were exactly what I imagined (if not more!) we probably had enough cake for 300 people at our 180 person wedding, and there was barely any left over. Actually, my husband asked if I cared if we ate our anniversary cake after the wedding and just ordered a new one for our anniversary! We had so many compliments on the beauty of the wedding cake and hand painted detail of the groom’s cake, as well as the taste! I loved that it was even buttercream frosting on the cakes. Even my retired cake making grandmother and cousins complimented on how great they looked and tasted! If you are looking for someone to make your dream wedding cake, you can’t go wrong with Kim!

The variety of flavors, along with the amazing buttercream is something to die for. KcCakeLady is easy to work with & never disappoints. cutting cake for us. Elegant and classic on one side and on my side, a full USS Enterprise (NCC 1701-D, obviously). It was perfect and everyone loved it. Kim was easy to work with and set everything up for us and it was beautiful and delicious. You can tell she loves baking. We highly recommend her.

et up a tasting. and i know this sounds silly but my now husband and i HATE cake...but we both REALLY wanted the traditonal cake ceremony. so after 5 hopeless or so cake tastings gave kims a try and almost decided to completely cut out cake. anyways...after trying her pink champegne and strawberry lemonade it was like...trying bacon...or chocolate...or your fav. food for the first time! we were both in awe that we both actually liked a cake! we were sold and booked quick. her prices are reasonable, shes available and works with what YOU are wanting, and arrived on time if not early for our wedding. we both STILL dont like cake ONLY kims and we will always and only use her for our cake needs. it was perfect. we cant thank her enough!

. Some places we tried had no flavor, others were outrageously priced. We knew when we tried Kim's cake, she was the one. We had 6 different flavors of cupcakes at the wedding, and they were all so good. We had so many compliments about the cupcakes. Pumpkin, red velvet with chocolate chips and chocolate with chocolate filling were my favorite. She can make anything you want! Go with Kim!

Kim did a great job and is very affordable compared to many places we looked into. The buttercream was sweet, but not too sweet. We sampled cakes and cupcakes from several businesses in the area, but they all seemed way too sweet. The cake and cupcakes had the perfect balance of beauty and deliciousness. I would definitely recommend KC Cake Lady Kim for your big day!!!

We decided to make every tier of our cake a different flavor, this was no extra charge at all! We were so excited to work with Kim that I even ordered cupcakes and a cake for my bridal showe. So many people loved the bridal shower treats that they couldn't wait for the wedding. Kim helped me also secretly design a surprise groom cake. Which he loved, Batman of course! Now, it's wedding cake time! Wow! Our cake was amazing!!! Kim listened to everything we wanted! Our cake was a huge centerpiece of our wedding! Our photographer has 10 pictures of just the cake! It wasn't just about the looks, the flavor was amazing! The frosting was perfect and the cake is so moist! My bridal party begged to set some aside to take home! Kim is a true professional with real talent! I highly recommend her to any and all brides!:)

aw my cake it was exactly like I'd pictured! And the groom's cake was out of this world. We had so many compliments I couldn't believe it. My husband is a huge Royals fan and wanted a replica of the World Series trophy. Kim showed us a picture of what she had in mind, but again it was unbelievable. She was recommended to me by my florist, and I would definitely recommend her to anyone. She is affordable, very talented, flexible, and great to work with. And the cake was so moist and delicious. Can't wait till our anniversary to eat it again!
