Katy did an amazing job on my flowers for my wedding! I am still getting compliments on my flowers to this day and my wedding was over two months ago! At our initial meeting to go over my vision, she was the most detailed and organized florist I met with. She picked the most gorgeous flowers I could have ever asked for and delivered them in pristine condition! She set up and tore down everything in the same day, making my wedding day extremely stress free. She was also a pleasure to work with. I could not recommend her enough!

The flowers and decorations for my wedding were perfect! Katy took into account every detail for my wedding. She was so helpful in making sure everything came together. Katy took the stress away by setting up and taking down the reception. There is no one better I could recommend to ensure your decorations are memorable.

Omg I can't even put into words how beautiful my bouquet was on my wedding day. My look was a little unconventional with an interesting color pallet, but Katy was able to make my vision come to life. She had very prompt communication throughout the process and prompt delivery. I was receiving compliments all night on how beautiful the flowers were. and it was something they have never seen before.

When Katy brought my florals into the reception building I was so excited. They were perfect! I have had many comments on how pretty and well done the florals were at my wedding. Katy is the best!

We couldn’t have been more blown away by the added beauty of the floral arrangements and details that KD did the day of our wedding. My favorite by far and it was more then I ever expected was our staircase. Our guests and photographers kept commenting on it. It was straight out of a movie. YOU GUYS!! Pin this review and save it for later, because you will thank me for booking with Katy! First, when we talked at the two year mark before my wedding (we took a two year engagement), I had a certain vision, which was not the vision I THOUGHT I wanted. Katy and I went over details, she asked what were my must haves, and found ways to give me choices for more budget friendly options, which as a bride, I can appreciate. My vision changed…. about 3 months prior to my wedding and as i don’t recommend, Katy was understanding and dove head first into picking out flowers based on my new and final colors and preferences. By the way, I told her which kind of flower look I WAS NOT wanting, and she kept that in mind. She legit went above and beyond to make me happy as a bride, which unfortunately you will find without the proper vendors, is few and far between. Katy legit NAILED my vision all the way down to my wedding arch, which was something never done prior to my wedding. She gave me different options in case my arch wouldn’t be heavy enough etc., but she literally spent SO much time researching and executing my vision, that other options weren’t needed. She truly is one of the BEST vendors i had the pleasure of having apart of our big day, and EVERYONE said how beautiful our wedding was. I am so happy with my choice to go with Katy as our florist, so if you are having doubts, don’t, sign the contract and see for yourself! She is kind, a perfectionist (like myself), and an executer of tiny details that made our day unique and beautiful. She was even able to provide the floral stands and vases, candles and candle holders for us with an additional charge, which I am so thankful we did because she was able to take everything which left clean up etc. that much easier and after a lot of research, she definitely was a budget friendly, without sparing the details, option!! Fast forward to after the wedding, I am so proud and blessed to call Katy a dear friend and we still talk occasionally. Like I said don’t hesitate, BOOK NOW, I promise you won’t be disappointed!!

Katy was an absolute dream to work with! From the first time I reached out to her to seeing my florals on our wedding day, I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Katy did amazing! I loved the way that the florals looked at the ceremony and the reception. Apparently, there was an issue involving the shipment of some florals. However, I had no idea until after the wedding because Katy took care of it. :) She didn't want anyone to be stressed, so she took care of it all on her own. I truly can't say enough amazing things about Katy at KD Decor! I have been working with her for various events for the last 3-4 years from bridal showers, a baby shower, and most recently my wedding. She is absolutely amazing to work with each and every time. The quality of her work and her responsiveness is top notch! We met up about 3 months or so before my wedding, and she was so organized and even helped me remember quite a few things that I had forgotten. She is very enjoyable to work with and available and responsive! The bouquet and centerpieces for my wedding were perfect. I wanted a mostly neutral palette with some pops of colors (all of my four bridesmaids dresses were different colors), and she absolutely nailed the color scheme. She also makes signs, and all of my wedding signs turned out amazing! I am so grateful to have her to go to for my flowers and décor! Katy was absolutely amazing! I found her Facebook page months before I hired her & knew I had to book with her. I was super nervous with how everything would turn out especially after having to change my colors as well as planning a wedding during a pandemic but she honestly surprised me! I told her what I wanted & what I didn’t want & she made something so beautiful that I couldn’t have even imagined it! 1000% recommend!

EXCELLENT experience! Katy was amazing to work with and her product was top notch. I had somewhat of a unique idea of centerpieces for my wedding and she was able to translate my idea to reality! She was the utmost professional from the idea consultation meeting to delivery and set-up on the day of the event. Katy is AMAZING!! I was so nervous because I had 100 different ideas in my head and wasn't sure how it would all flow, but Katy killed it with EVERYTHING!! I reached out to Katy to create our wedding florals after discovering her Instagram page via a mutal friend. I was amazed with how beautiful all her creations were! Katy was so helpful in assisting me with making my visions become a reality (which I'm sure was no easy task haha). Katy is one of the most incredible talents in the Southern Illinois/Indiana/Tri-State area. She can do it all - classic and elegant, or unique and eccentric. I couldn’t imagine the flowers being nearly as beautiful as they were. Katy is amazing, honest, and friendly...that alone makes working with her wonderful. BUT OH those flowers! I wanted a statement to be made with the flowers for my daughters wedding and Katy made that happen. Choosing Katy for my daughters' wedding was a no-brainer!! She is absolutely amazing at all that she does. We gave her the colors we were looking for and the decor of the wedding and she went above and beyond for us. The altar piece alone was breathtaking, then add in all the floral arrangements and signage, we were beyond blown away with everything. I was blown away. There are talented people and then there are gifted people, and Katy, she's gifted. She captured who we are and reflected it through every creation. From the beautiful greenery along the brick, the handwritten signage on elegant parchment paper, that epic Chuppah, etc...it surpassed anything we could have ever imagined. She took our ideas and elevated everything. In a meeting, we would give her a general idea, and the normal decorator would probably settle for that. But Katy would take it, add her flare, and would produce something 10 times more incredible than we originally imagined. She is 100% someone I'll recommend. She was amazing to work with, she's kind, and she always accommodated any curveball a wedding throws at you. She's a rockstar and clearly has a gifting for what she does. Our family loved working with Katy Doersam before our daughter’s wedding! She listened carefully to everything we told her we wanted, and then she made it even better than we could have imagined. KD Decor was wonderful to work with for my wedding. I was in the middle of moving to a new state and starting a new job right before my wedding so I was a bit stressed to say the least. I came to KD not knowing much about flowers and just told KD my basic vision for the bouquets. The flowers were delivered promptly and labeled for each groomsman, bridesmaid, etc. in individual vases. They were more beautiful than I ever could have anticipated. Katy did the decorations and floral arrangements for my winter wedding and I could not have been more pleased. I had a vision of the type of wedding and reception I wanted to share with our families and she took that and far exceeded my expectations! My flowers were beautiful and the centerpieces were hand painted wood and greenery. She had amazing suggestions when asked and made my wedding absolutely beautiful! She even hand painted a huge backdrop for the wedding party tables that guests actually thought was real wood (it was painted o paper and hung) I could not have asked for a better experience of more beautiful celebration. I was referred to KD Decor by the caterer we hired. She also gave us a magazine with some of her work in it and showed us some center pieces she had done for an event they had the night before and they were beautiful. When we met with Katie it was an effortless conversation. I felt like she knew what I wanted even when I had a hard time trying to explain it. We went the more DIY route for the centerpieces but the bouquets turned out better than I could have imagined. The signs she made looked like they were right off of Pinterest! I had seen Katy’s BEAUTIFUL work in the Engaged River Valley magazines and knew if I ever got married I would love to have her do mine. Knowing my great Aunt was her assistant, it made perfect sense to choose KD. I was afraid KD may be a little out of my budget, but to my surprise she was very reasonable! The whole process was very easy. I gave Katy a page of my ideas, wedding colors, etc and she handled the rest. I was very particular on the shape of my bouquet and what colors I wanted, and she created it all how I envisioned. I needed flowers for my cake, card box, the altar, entrance, and bathrooms and she came up with perfect arrangements for each space! I love that she was easy to communicate with. I could text her anytime with a question or idea and she answered right away. My absolute favorite part was that she asked if I wanted a sneak peek of my bouquet the night before the wedding (I did!) and was willing to make changes if I didn’t absolutely love it. I loved it!! All of the flowers were a perfect mix of my pinterest page. I highly recommend KD for your wedding flowers!
