We chose Kelly as our officiant for our 15-person micro wedding at the Riverside Inn in Leland and had the most amazing experience. Leading up to the wedding, it was wonderful working with Kelly to create the perfect ceremony script, and it was evident how important it was to her that our vision was brought to life just how we wanted it. The ceremony itself was so special thanks to Kelly. Could not recommend her enough for anyone looking to get married in Northern Michigan!

Kd Events did a remarkable job officiating our wedding this past weekend. Not only did she play a huge role in helping everything to run flawlessly throughout the rehearsal and, of course, the ceremony, but she also crafted a ceremony that felt so unique and true to us as a couple, even though we went with more scripted vows for the crowd. Kelly took the time to sit down with us, on several occasions, to ensure that we had our most ideal ceremony planned out to a T and communicated everything among vendors, along with timelines, so that we really had as little to worry about as possible during our wedding weekend. Kd Events truly made our day so incredibly special and there is no one else that we would have marry us if given the choice again and again!!

We had Kelly officiate our wedding in late spring of this year. She spent time with us via email and zoom call and really did her best to get to know my partner and I. We were coming from out of state to elope on the beach at the tip of Old Mission Peninsula, and wanted to find an officiant to perform a simple ceremony - with only about 2 months' notice. In the time leading up to our special day, Kelly ushered us through the process of figuring out exactly what elements we wanted in our ceremony, and provided exactly the right mix of incorporating our vision, while also giving her expert guidance. We met with her over Zoom, exchanged emails several times, and worked on our wedding script together. She totally put us at ease. She is incredibly warm, responsive, and has a wealth of expertise and "mad skillz". We cannot say enough wonderful things about Kelly, who helped us turn our elopement into an amazingly joyful, meaningful wedding. I can't recommend Kelly enough for your officiant needs! We interviewed a few options and after speaking with Kelly, it was a no brainer. She didn't have a canned script, rather Kelly took the time to talk with us and get to know our hopes for the ceremony and who we are as a couple. She fully customized our ceremony and gave us free reign to review and make edits. Kelly also put together a beautiful intro to the ceremony which was a surprise for the groom and myself. She emailed us separately asking a few questions and wrote it from our responses. It was such a nice touch that totally personalized the ceremony. I never thought the ceremony would be our guest's favorite part of our wedding but I can't tell you the amount of compliments we received from friends and family. I would recommend Kelly to ANYONE, she is a breath of fresh air!
