specially during the (stressful) months leading up to the big event. Having a destination wedding required us to make sure family and friends had travel plans and places to stay. Once we gave Carolyn the dates she was quick to schedule her flights and get back to us which was a huge relief and she was the first one we could check off our list! Super props for helping us relieve a little pressure off the scheduling! :) I’m sure there are very few weddings that go off without a hitch, so when our hair appointments ran over a little and the groom somehow misplaced his wedding shirt, Carolyn was still able to float around magically and capture all of beautiful moments in between with the bridal party and family members. I love looking back at the photos and seeing all the great shots I missed during the day of everyone just enjoying themselves! Our families quickly welcomed Carolyn in and I think had as much fun with the shots as we did! at the dog park and I had seen her wedding work online when we decided to hire her for the wedding. She included an Engagement session to get to know us better in front of the camera. She made us feel so comfortable, which is great because we can be super awkward with pictures. The turn around on those pictures was 10 days and they were phenomenal! She captured who we are individually, and as a couple. We did the shoot in my favorite place, and she captured the specialty of that place, while still making us the center of every photo. For the wedding we had her and another shooter (she brought a partner). Both of them were amazing to work with. Carolyn got every shot we asked for ahead of time and day of. It can be a stressful day full of dueling personalities and Carolyn handled our demanding families with poise and professionalism all while keeping to what we wanted for our day. She was a calming presence while I was getting ready and her partner helped calm my wife ahead of time too. Carolyn came prepared with things I couldnt have even thought of for pictures (including a special hanger for my dress). We received our pictures quicker than any of our friends who have recently gotten married. We received a full catalogue of like 600+ edited and perfect photos in less than one month. Every couple has a personality of their own, and she captured us and our family and the goal of our day perfectly. She was communicative with us through the whole process of booking, shooting and editing. She was prompt, efficient, professional and worth every penny! The price of service is so so reasonable given everything you get when you choose Carolyn to work with. I can't choose a favorite picture, I can't speak highly enough of her or our experience. ll me how great I looked. A HUGE part of that was Carolyn. She captures those special moments and looks that take the photos from really nice to beautiful photography. She helps make you feel calm and comfortable and does a great job working with difficult families! She finds great and creative photos of some of the “stuff” like the rings, shoes, dress and then also gets those classic photos. Carolyn is that incredibly warm, comforting presence that you want and need by your side on your wedding day. She is a photographer that loves love and shows it in her work! We are still so happy with our wedding photos!
