Keeper’s Galley is Haven on the Banks’ spacious 4,200 square foot event center and can accommodate up to 200 wedding guests in its beautiful indoor space. The fully climate-controlled event center features over 2,350 square feet of flexible gathering space, beautiful vaulted ceilings with exposed light beams and a electric fireplace accented with stone. The one-of-kind chandeliers have become known as the hallmark of Keeper's Galley offering an elegance not found in the Outer Banks. The spiral staircase in the loft makes for a photographer's dream prop! For engaged couples and their wedding parties, we've devoted special attention to the wedding "get ready" suite located in the second floor loft! You will find a beautifully decorated space for you all to celebrate together while you prepare yourselves for the big day. From mirrors, to elegant lighting, to beautiful styling chairs, as well as an upscale bathroom - you're sure to find this special time together prior to your wedding full of everlasting memories. Just steps from Keeper's Galley, you'll find our beautifully, landscaped courtyard space with an outdoor bar and pergola that offer additional options for your beautiful day! If you're not a fan of a beach wedding, our courtyard is the perfect spot for your wedding ceremony. The Barn at Keeper's Galley is our second event space available for rental at Haven on the Banks. The Barn, measuring 2,000 square feet, can accommodate up to 96 seated guests comfortably. At The Barn, you will experience that rustic, more relaxed vibe with barn style tables and chairs. The farmhouse lighting throughout and the centerpiece antler chandelier adds a nice accent of intimacy and warmth. The refinished original wooden floor boasts a reminder of the old days in the Outer Banks with its copper marlin at the entrance installed many years ago. The lawn area behind The Barn is beautifully landscaped and is another perfect location for your ceremony if you're not a beach fan. Just grab and arbor and some benches and you're all set! Many of our couples choose The Barn for a more laid back, smaller wedding event. But, it is also PERFECT for your rehearsal dinner or farewell brunch.
