Rabbi Miller is exceptional. Truly could not have delivered a better ceremony. She is not only brilliant and thoughtful, she's also a natural born leader. This shone through. She ...
led the most gorgeous ceremony and made sure the Judaism accessible and digestible to everyone in attendance. Her pre-marital counseling sessions were both illuminating and cathartic for my wife and I. Rabbi cares so much about the couples she works with, and you certainly don't get that experience with every vendor. It was an honor to have presence there, while officiating a truly epic wedding weekend!
Rabbi Heather Miller is the absolute best there is! She went above and beyond to get to know us, counsel us, and invite us into her community. She conducted our ketubah signing com...
plete with the blowing of her shofar and created the most magical wedding ceremony for us. All of our guests laughed, cried, and are still raving about our beautiful ceremony and how incredible Rabbi Miller was! Sadly our beloved dog lost his battle with cancer the week following our wedding. Rabbi Miller checked in on us and even offered our dog a blessing before he passed. We feel like we've gained a lifelong friend in Rabbi Miller and are so lucky to have hired her as our wedding officiant. Could not recommend her more!
The GREATEST Rabbi we could ever hope for!!!! I discovered Rabbi Heather Miller through the knot and as a non Jew, I wanted to find someone who would marry my Jewish husband and me...
without me having to convert. Not only did we get to incorporate all of the Jewish traditions my husband desired, Rabbi Miller made it OUR ceremony, incorporating a poem from my Swedish family and truly making it our own unique experience sacred to our love story. I cannot say enough good things about our rabbi! We had a priest as a guest and he couldn’t stop talking about how much he loved the ceremony. If you want a wonderful, personal, brilliant rabbi, look no further. We feel like we’ve made a friend for life!
I feel so lucky to have had Rabbi Miller officiate our wedding. My husband is not Jewish and the synagogue I had attended in LA wouldn't marry us, but Rabbi Miller was on a list of...
reform rabbis who would perform interfaith weddings. To say I was relieved when we had our intro call with her and she managed to connect with my husband about astrophysics and philosophy is an understatement. She created an incredibly intimate, meaningful, and warm ceremony. It takes a special person to bring together a conservative Jew, an atheist, his Christian (German speaking only) parents, and my traditional Jewish family, making everyone feel welcome and important.
I didn't realize how helpful the pre-marital sessions would be until we had our first one. She encouraged us to talk through difficult issues that were relevant to us (the role Judaism would play in our lives, merging cultural and family backgrounds, money). I truly believe these sessions made our relationship stronger. Whenever I see Rabbi Miller post on Facebook or get her congregation's list-Serv email I get a warm and fuzzy feeling - I feel like she is truly a part of our family.
From the first time Aryeh and I met with Rabbi Miller via FaceTime, we felt a sense of relief and ease. It was so fun and easy to talk with her, and we appreciated her flexibility ...
and willingness to work with us as an interfaith couple doing a Jewish wedding with elements of Christian Science integrated throughout! And, it was really awesome that she was able to work with us as we navigated recommitting to each other after being divorced for a few years. The fact that our daughter, who was definitely excited about Mommy and Daddy getting back together, was part of that preparation and the ceremony meant so much to all of us.
We so appreciated the spiritual counseling that we did for the few months leading up to the wedding too. And it felt like Aryeh and I were really grounded in a good foundation as we prepared. And then during the ceremony, when the Rabbi did her Charge - we were so moved! She incorporated things she learned about us into what she shared that indicated to us that she cared and was really tuned in and had listened to us!
We were so humbled and honored to have her officiating, and we highly recommend her! And we also loved being invited to and getting to attend her Keeping It Sacred shabbat service before the wedding too, and look forward to going back soon! So grateful for how welcoming and loving Rabbi Miller is!
Rabbi Heather Miller was the ideal officiant for our wedding ceremony, and we feel extremely lucky that we found her. She helped us put together a ceremony that very much represent...
ed who we are as a couple, while also guiding us with her experience and expertise. She was gentle, thoughtful, engaged and took a keen interest in who we are as individuals and a couple, not just what motions to go through in a wedding ceremony. Our pre-wedding sessions with her were enjoyable and enriching — Rabbi Heather brings a deep well of knowledge and excellent sense of humor to everything she does. She’s the best! And on the day of the ceremony, she was a steady presence, answering last minute questions while handling both logistics and feelings. She was great with my dad, who was overcome with emotion just before the ceremony. We plan to maintain our bond with Rabbi Heather as active members of her Keeping It Sacred community.
If you want your ceremony to be unique to you and your relationship, do not pass over talking to Rabbi Miller! Not only is she incredibly friendly, intelligent, and open-minded, sh...
e has a way of getting to know you really well and then being able to incorporate everything about you and what you’re looking for in a way that makes everyone feel so welcome and engaged. Rabbi Miller met with us 5 times over the course of our wedding preparations, facilitated our rehearsal at our venue, and built an entire custom ceremony. She helped us navigate through the wedding planning process and even gave us advice on how to manage everything that came our way with friends and family requests. Our wedding was an interfaith Israeli and Southern mix, we got married on a Friday (Rabbi Miller facilitated the candles, challah, and wine blessings with the family), and every single guest we talked to raved about Rabbi Miller. She brings such a bright and inclusive vibe to the day, and we couldn’t have asked for a better rabbi.
We have never attended a wedding where all anyone can talk about afterwards was the ceremony…until Rabbi Miller officiated ours. Rabbi Miller met with us five times over several mo...
nths to not only help us craft a unique ceremony, but also get to know us and encourage us to get to know one another. She fostered a space where we could connect honestly and deeply, strengthening our relationship to each other, as well as to her. As an inter-faith couple, she was extremely considerate of our belief systems and ensuring that everyone in attendance would feel grounded and connected. The results was a stellar ceremony that felt hand-crafted to our relationship and had our guests in tears (the happy kind). Beyond that, Rabbi Miller has welcomed us into her community of which we look forward to remaining a part.
When my husband and I first got engaged, we weren't sure who our officiant would be. Possibly a friend or a family member. However, my husband insisted on following my faith's trad...
ition in having a Rabbi officiate. I was hesitant as I don't have the best relationship with the temple in which I grew up with but Rabbi Heather Miller of Keeping It Sacred has literally restored my faith and interest in my Jewish upbringing. She has been the most attentive, understanding and jovial Rabbi I have come across and I was excited to have her "be in control" of our wedding. We did have an interfaith ceremony however, the Jewish influence was very much present for my side and was also very demure for my husband's Catholic family. Our Pre-Marital conversations were some of the best therapy I have ever had including with my own therapist. She's an officiant who truly gets to know you, your relationship and your family dynamics. Her progressiveness is what helped me accept a "religious" based ceremony as palatable. It was beyond palatable. It was the ceremony of my dreams and I can't stop thinking about how incredible it was. Thank you so much Rabbi Miller!
Working with Rabbi Miller was so wonderful! She spent thoughtful time with us in the year leading up to our wedding to get to know us better and to help us create the ceremony that...
fit us best. Her energy is infectious and every single guest at our wedding commented on how wonderful she led our kettubah signing and ceremony! I would highly recommend her to any of my friends and family who are looking for an open minded and warm hearted, and incredibly thoughtful rabbi to officiate their wedding!!
