From our first initial meeting with Keith, my husband and I got in the car, immediately looked at each other, and said those are people. After getting our previews back, and we received them rather quickly, we knew we made the right choice. Then when we got our final photos back, it was even more clear we made the right choice. Keith & Lakyn do a wonderful job of capturing real moments, and none of our pictures looked staged or fake. They truly captured my husband and I beautifully in all of our photos. I highly recommend having both Keith & Lakyn there the day of, especially if you aren’t doing a first look, and will be getting ready in separate locations. They’re a dynamic duo who gets the job done. We were amazed at how ahead of schedule we were pre-ceremony. What I also loved about them is that they’re willing to work with you. My husband and I had already taken engagement photos when we hired them, and I was not interested in having bridal photos taken, so I was able to sub those out for other things. Bottom line, hiring them is going to be the best thing you will ever do!

We have used Keith for the past 5 years. He does shoots for all of our family reunions, new babys and Christmas cards. There is no one else we could recommend more. He is the best and we so look forward to working with him every year!!

Keith and Lakyn were incredible! They were calm and organized on the wedding day which put me and everyone involved at ease. Keith gave good pose direction and was happy to go along with any we suggested as well. We got married in my small church and Keith did a fantastic job of capturing the moments while being respectful of our religious ceremony. That really stood out to me and my family. I was thrilled when we received our pictures back, they were exactly what we had asked for and more. I have no idea how I will narrow down what pictures to put in an album, there are just too many good ones!!

The editing is so soft and natural, really timeless. He got our families organized for photos with amazing efficiency even though our families were all over the place. We even had guests tell us they loved the photographer and ask for his information. We will forever love these photos.

Keith and Lakyn were the absoulte best photographers for our special day! From the moment we reached out until the wedding day they were responsive and extremely helpful! They were patient with all the craziness that the day of entails. In addition, Keith was absolutely phenomenal with the little ones! We will never use another photographer again. Keith has done our yearly family Christmas pictures and for newborn pictures for each of our kids. I wish we had known about him when we got married!!! Keith shot our proposal and did an engagement session following right after. Keith was a joy to work with, and took the best pictures we have as a couple! Not only that, he was such a trooper as it started to thunderstorm minuets after the proposal. However Keith came prepared with an umbrella and rain gear for his camera and we had a blast taking photos in the rain! We also had our two Greyhounds with us, so all around a very eventful photoshoot but we could not be happier with our photos! We know can't wait for Keith to shoot our wedding in May 2023!

Keith was absolutely wonderful to work with for both our engagement photos and our wedding day. He knows how to make everyone feel comfortable in front of the camera—which was a feat for our wedding as there were many camera-shy people. We got tons of compliments on how great he was during our wedding. And of course most importantly, our pictures turned out beautiful! Keith was so fantastic during my wedding weekend! He also shot my bridal portraits. Every photo was perfection. It was hard to choose favorites. He was easy to work with and made me feel comfortable in front of the camera.

Keith and Lakyn really are the best of the best. We felt so blessed to have them with us through our entire wedding journey. We were originally supposed to get married in May 2020, so COVID hit us hard. Thankfully, Keith and Lakyn were amazing through it all - they communicated clearly, checked in on us, jumped on the phone whenever we had another change of plans, and made us feel so comfortable even with everything up in the air. In terms of their photography skills, they're amazing. The pictures from our engagement session, first wedding day, and our "sequel" wedding a year later are absolutely gorgeous and somehow even better than I imagined they would be. When I first met with Keith in 2019, he showed me albums of his work over the years and it was really cool to see how their skills have gotten better and better. Keith and Lakyn were an integral part of our wedding on 08/01/2020. They were flexible in changing locations during these unprecedented times with Covid-19. They were super understanding of my requests in editing a burn off my arm where I clumsily burnt myself the day before (So sorry!!) The lighting in every photo they captured was truly remarkable. They have such a gift in capturing the light in the best way. They are a dream team and while Keith is finding the best picture to take in one angle, Lakyn is in another corner capturing the moment in a whole other light. It brought so many different perspectives into our wedding day photos! They also give back so many photos to choose from. They are with you every step of the way and provide a timeline down to the 5 minute marker. It is so organized. I wasn't worried about photography at all throughout the entire wedding planning process. I recommend them to as many people as I can. Please please use them as your photographer. Keith and Lakyn were a dream to work with! They were always on top of communicating with us, and made us feel at ease for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day. We had a tight schedule, but they were able to get every shot requested (plus some!) for a 200+ wedding. At one point, Keith saw my grandma dancing across the ballroom, and he ran across the dance floor to set up and capture some really precious photos! All of our pictures are gorgeous and we have many family members asking for copies because of the quality. We will continue to recommend their services for friends and family.

Keith and Lakyn are amazing. We had a great time just getting to know them along the way. Keith and Lakyn are the bomb! It all started when we wanted to get engagement photos. We first fell in love with the work of Keith and Lakyn when our wedding planner showed us their portfolio. We loved that their photos had a color tone that was light and bright. Before we met with Keith, we exchanged a handful of emails to set the tone of what type of photos we hoped to take. He quickly determined we wanted a playful, flirty vibe with parts of the city in the background. When we finally met, it was like we were already friends. We were slightly nervous thinking “what if things look awkward or unnatural” but Keith made us so comfortable. During the photo session he would randomly crack silly jokes to get us laughing, tell us where to put our hands and how to position our feet etc. He was absolutely amazing with us throughout the shoot and recommended plenty of poses for us to try. He was patient with us and what really impressed us was his attention to detail with every shot: the lighting, the angle, and background. We even had the opportunity to do an incredibly fun and creative photo session inside of Target with Keith. We loved the photos so much that we immediately hired him and his wife to capture our wedding and reception! It was hands down the best decision we could’ve made! My husband and I were just speechless when the wedding photos were presented to us. We laughed and cried as we looked through the images together recollecting the memories of our big day! Keith was our photographer for both my bridal session and wedding. Planning a wedding out of state was stressful as is and he made the photography component of our wedding stress-free. He was always professional, very personable and fun to work with. He answered all our questions courteously and promptly. Even wedding questions that were not photo-related, he was willing to answer. I did not have to stress about where or how photos would be taken because he came to the wedding venue the day before my bridal shoot to figure all of that out. It was rainy and muddy the entire day of my bridal shoot. I was so stressed and upset, but he found creative ways to not let the rain ruin the beauty and quality of my photos. Any type of shots that we wanted, he made sure to note it and follow through. He also offered and suggested certain shots, but was never overbearing or insistent. Furthermore, he surprised us with some shots of our engagement and wedding bands that were so special! He always showed up on time, was organized, transparent and so thoughtful. Keith and Lakyn are wonderful! I was nervous about my bridal shoot and Keith’s awesome personality had me laughing the entire time. On the day of the wedding Keith and Lakyn were great at getting so many pictures and capturing memories. I was stubborn about having our ceremony outside even though it was raining and Keith and Lakyn went with it. Thankfully it stopped raining for the rest of the night and we were able to get beautiful and fun pictures. I’ve only seen our preview pictures but I can’t wait for more.

We found Keith through a family friend referral and he was absolutely awesome! My husband and I live in California and had to plan our entire wedding remote. Keith was flexible with dates/times for meetings, did screenshares with us and was always super responsive via email/text. We scheduled a bridal shoot for the week before our wedding. Keith was great about suggesting locations for the shoot, flexible again on the timing since I really didn't have any flexibility. The day of the shoot it was supposed to rain and he was great about adjusting to the circumstances. I wanted to take some pictures that Keith didn't expect to turn out well for various depth/lighting reasons; but he walked me through the why's and still took the pictures and sent them to me! Wedding Day was also awesome! We had a tight timeline for everything and more projected rain. My husband had 8 groomsmen who Keith handled well, keeping them in line. He also managed to wrangle both of our rather large extended families for group photos. His personality is just great for something like this as he is serious about getting the job done and puts up with no bs, but cracks jokes all day too, to keep the mood light. Our pictures were amazing. The gallery is easy to navigate and we just love the photo album! 5/5, 10/10, highly recommend Keith and Lakyn!

Keith shot our engagement photos and they Could. Not. Have. Turned. Out. More. PERFECT. We had SUCH a good time walking around Uptown Charlotte and then shooting on the roof of our apartment, and I knew before our engagement shoot was even over that I wanted to book them for our wedding. Keith took our engagement and wedding photos. He was an absolute pleasure to work with. He did a great job getting us to relax and have fun during our engagement session. Words cannot describe how happy we are that we chose Keith and Lakyn Photography for our wedding! I came across their profile on The Knot and loved their photos. When we met with Keith, we knew immediately that he was the best photographer for the job. We explained our concerns about an indoor wedding venue because of our different complexions and he immediately showed us photos he'd done and how he balances skin tones. He also showed us dance floor photos that were taken in practically pitch black that looked like they were daytime with full lights and we couldn't believe how clear and crisp the photos were. He was willing to work with us on the package options since we were not local and could not do an engagement shoot. Even though it was slightly over our budget, his pricing was on par with other photographers and less than many others. I'm glad we decided to splurge because they were worth every single penny. He sent us a preview gallery within 48 hours and the photos were GORGEOUS!!! I asked him the other day for a few specific photos that I needed urgently and he responded immediately with a couple options for me to choose from. It meant the world that he took the time to help me even though he was so busy trying to get through editing for other couples. I could not be more grateful to Keith and Lakyn for the moments they captured and how smooth the process has been. They listened to what was important to us and genuinely cared about our wedding. Keith was such a joy to work with. It was obvious he had a passion for his career. Meeting with him for the first time got us excited! His excitement was contagious. We both loved his creativity and attention to detail. My husband said he never felt like he had to second guess Keith and trusted his expertise. The photos speak for themselves. Keith and Lakyn far exceeded our expectations for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. During our engagement photos session Keith made us feel so comfortable- providing many “dad” jokes and “the office” references that we both loved. It made us feel so comfortable with him instantly! At the wedding we were lucky enough to have both Lakyn and Keith photograph our wedding. They helped make sure our day turned out exactly as we hoped. We have seen a preview of only a few of our photos and we already know they are all going to be amazing. Keith and Lakyn are absolutely amazing!! They are so kind and easy going and they make taking pictures a breeze! Neither myself or my husband were good in front of a camera but they truly made it easy and fun for us! Keith and Lakyn are truly an incredible pair; the emotions and beauty they capture on camera is nothing short of incredible.
