Stunning property and perfect backdrop for any wedding! The family who owns this venue is so great to work with as well, highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for an outdoor venue with scenic views.
Kelley Creek Farm was the ultimate venue for my daughter's wedding. Ashley was helpful, flexible and delightful to work with as a contact at the barn. People were blown away by the venue - Evermore Vintage provided perfect farm tables and cross back chairs to fit the barn. Moonlight Lighting took it over the top with their amazing lights. The stunning location is private, gorgeous for photos - We could not have been happier.
My husband and I got married at Kelley Creek Farm earlier this summer. Patsy makes all of her couples feel like family and helped keep me and my mother calm throughout the day. We had some big dreams for things we wanted to do on the farm (we hung lights from the trees and big, billowy curtains from the barn doors) and Patsy was so gracious in trusting us with her beautiful property. All of our guests were stunned by the beautiful scenery and keep commenting on how relaxed and elegant our day felt. We couldn't have done it without Patsy!
I was immediately eager to work with Patsy when I met her. She had a pep in her step and excitement in her voice. Her farm offers incredible views and the freedom to do just about anything you want. It was a dream for us.
Two months after booking with her and two months before the wedding I received an email letting me know of an oversight that she had double booked. I was told that a bride switched her date from Sept. 3rd to August 27th and Patsy forgot to write it down. I'm unsure how this oversight goes two months without notice. It sounded extremely fishy.
She did call her friends at another location that had availability, which she considered bending over backwards for us. We had already checked it out two months prior when we were looking for venues and decided then that it was not a good fit and that we wanted Kelley Creek Farm.
She also suggested we change our wedding date to the day before. Flights had already been booked so we initially told her that probably wouldn't work. After thinking about it we decided to look into it, which she then she changed her mind and informed us that Kelley Creek is not a good fit for us.
We did confront her on the issue. We never raised our voices and we never said anything mean to her, but tried to seek justification for this. Two months from the wedding date and we're back to square one looking for a venue and probably going to pay double the price for something we don't want.
Kelley Creek Farm was such a wonderful place to have my wedding! We were the last wedding of the season so all the colors on the trees were beginning to change which made the rustic feel even better. Patsy (current owner of the venue) was an absolute TREAT to work with and was VERY flexible figuring out different things that would work for our wedding. Alcohol is allowed and you have to bring in your own as well as tables/chairs and catering. We had our Ceremony Outdoors and our Reception inside the barn and all of our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful of a wedding it was. The price includes use of the barn the entire day of the wedding, staff to help 'man' the gates and keep garbage out of the way and light the bonfire as well as the tiki torches. We did come in and set up our own decorations which made the whole experience more fun and you will have to have people stay after the wedding or come back first thing in the morning to tear down. Since the barn is located in a residential area we had to be off the premises by 9:45, so a little early but it was still wonderful. There is a LOT of hay so if you have allergies it may not be the best place. Overall this venue was amazing and I would definitely choose it again if I was getting married. Everything went off without a hitch and the price was completely reasonable for everything you received. Strongly recommend!
Our experience at the beautiful Kelley Creek Farm was lovely, from start to finish. My daughter had fallen in love with the venue after seeing it on-line, and it is even more picturesque in person. We initially had discouraged our daughter from choosing a mountain/rural venue because of the danger of wedding guests having drinks at the reception and then driving home on country roads-- Patsy at Kelley Creek has planned for that by hiring an off-duty deputy sheriff who quietly (in civilian clothes) watches the reception, visits with guests, and respectfully keeps inebriated guests from driving anywhere. (We combined this FANTASTIC precaution with one of our own-- we hired a bus to shuttle our partying guests back and forth from the venue, to two hotels in Ogden! Everyone enjoyed the party, and everyone got back to their hotel safe and sound! Undeniably some of the very best money we spent on this wedding!)
The grounds around the barn are perfect for an outdoor wedding, the barn is very rustic yet welcoming and romantic...we had the best experience ever! We purposely had picked a venue that could accommodate either an indoor or outdoor wedding, due to uncertain weather, and it was perfect. The ONLY sad thing is the 10:00p.m. curfew, which arrives very quickly and needs to be strictly adhered to, due to the neighboring community. If you want your party to last into the wee hours, then unfortunately Kelley Creek Farm won't be for you, but our bride and groom were so taken with the venue that they decided not to worry about the 10:00p.m. curfew, and it's such a looong day for the bride and groom anyway, that I think they were happy when their limo arrived at 9:50!
Patsy Dickens is wonderful to work with-- we can't recommend her beautiful farm more highly!!
