Kelli directly about 3 months before my wedding to schedule a trial. She seemed calm, confident, and easy-going...everything I wanted! And then she casually mentioned that her sister would be getting married the same day as me, so she would have to bring an assistant to take care of my bridal party. I offered to find someone else and she assured me that would not be necessary. I was extremely flexible and offered to get ready at an earlier time and location, and we hung up the phone with me feeling disappointed, but confident it would all work out. So you can imagine my shock when, with fewer than 2 months to go until my wedding, I get an email from her business manager CANCELLING ON ME! Not even the decency for a phone call They told me they would refund my deposit, but that is far from the point. That is rude, unprofessional, and far from flexible. I could not be more disappointed and would absolutely not recommend working with her.

re bridal party, my mother, and me (the bride) - everyones hair and makeup turned out beautifully. I showed Kelli a picture of how I wanted my hair and makeup and she nailed it. Highly recommended!!

wedding hair and make-up was scheduled that same afternoon and she saved the day. Kelli canceled her next few appointments so that she could completely re-highlight my hair and she did an amazing job. She and her team were just as amazing on the day of the wedding. They were early, prepared, professional, talented and fun - they fit right in with my crazy friends/family. Everyone looked amazingly beautiful when they were done. I can't express how grateful I am that I found Kelli for my wedding and for my new hairdresser, I will be going back to her at Bang Salon for cuts and color from now on. You are in good hands if you hire Kelli Fink!!

r only, they were willing to make substitutions to the package, so instead of 3 girls getting hair and makeup both, I was able to have 6 girls get just hair for the same cost. They were also able to accomodate girls adding services on the day of. Kelli and her team travel to whatever location you wish to get ready, which is a major plus. Since we were within their travel range we were not charged anything extra for this service, and it was a great perk that girls could move around to different hotel rooms, and continue to get ready when it was not their turn in the chair. They are very personable, and are easy to get along with and chat with while you are getting ready. Kelli is very flexible. After my trial I began having second thoughts regarding the styling. I booked her at the last minute, so didn't have much time for a second trial, especially since for the trial you must go to Bang Salon on U Street, where she works Monday-Thursday. I emailed some photos, and we were able to try something on the day of that I absolutely loved, without needing the second trial. All of the girls were happy with their styling. The only issue I had was some confusion on my part regarding the pricing. To hold the date you must submit a $200 booking fee, which at the time I assumed would serve as a deposit and be deducted from our final amount due. When I received the contract it read that this $200 was not a deposit, and was not considered part of the payment, so ulimately the cost was $200 more than what I had thought it would be. I expressed my concerns, and was told that they would try to make it more clear in the future. Perhaps my confusion stems from not having ever booked this type of service before, but I would imagine that most people would be in the same situation.
