Kellie Bode Makeup Artistry

-only ceremony on Friday and a big reception on Saturday. She did my makeup both days and they were both PERFECT. I cannot recommend her enough!

em plan to book her in the future. We had ladies of all ages get their makeup done from 14 to 75 and everyone looked stunning. I highly recommend Kellie! She made me feel so beautiful on my wedding day. I can’t wait to have another special event so I have a reason to book her again!

our makeup stayed on from 8 am until the next day (with many tears and plenty of sweating, lol)!

and sister and we all felt our best! Definitely will call her again

o squeeze in not only me, but my entire Bridal Party, both mothers, and even my 2 flower girls— leaving us all feeling like absolute beauty queens. within minutes, nobody would’ve been able to guess that we had just met Kellie that day… She blended into the family so seamlessly, we were all a bit saddened when she finished and had to move on to her next client. not only did she have the most sparkling personality, her talent as a make up artist was truly a step above. I don’t wear make up often, and honestly had to be convinced by my Bridal Party to even do “real make up” because I never really feel like myself when I’m wearing it… Not only did I get compliments all night from others, I truly felt beautiful when I looked at myself in the mirror; my confidence was at an all-time high! needless to say, I would recommend Kellie to anyone looking for a kind, professional, and competent artist, for any event, big or small. Thank you Kellie, for making my wedding day the best day of my life! <3

out even getting my makeup done at all, but am so thankful I did! Thank you, Kellie!!!

nerves of walking down the aisle were no longer on my mind! I showed her a picture for a little inspo, but I ultimately left it up to her! She finished up and walked me to the mirror and it was PERFECTION! She and Sam did a wonderful job with my entire bridal party and our moms! I only wish she could have stayed with me all day to chat and be the amazing lady she is! I love kellie!!!

makeup artists say "you need to wear more for the photos" - I don't care about the photos! I want to look like me. My sister did three trials before finding Kellie. Oh my God. She exists! A realistic, knowledgeable, kind, professional does makeup in New Orleans. She did a fantastic job on the entire bridal party - and the bride looked like HERSELF and just absolutely gorgeous! It was a miracle. Kellie, we had so much fun with you on the wedding day. You made everyone calm, asked for honest feedback, and you were willing to do anything to get it right. I am in the wedding industry and see dozens of brides come through and it is very hard to get it right. Book Kellie right away! xox

bridesmaids, but also made my mother and aunt looks gorgeous as well. I am so thankful to have had her and would highly recommend her to anyone.

ural and beautiful look! I got nervous that she wouldn’t have enough time for 9 of us but when I tell you she whipped us out in the time she allotted from the beginning and it made me want to recommend her for anyone! She made all of us look stunning on my wedding day and I highly recommend Kellie for the future! Her personality is just as charming as well. She is an overall joy to work with!

akeup looked glowy and natural, and it stayed that way through the entire celebration (which may have gone until the next morning). Kellie is also a breath of fresh air — fun, upbeat, and positive — and exactly the kind of person a bride needs around on her wedding day. Some of my girls worked with her assistant, Sam, who also did a beautiful job. I would absolutely recommend hiring Kellie. ❤️

time, upbeat and fun to be around. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone.

! Everyone’s make up looked flawless and I could not recommend her enough! Will be calling her again when I need my make up done!

als, and my wedding day. I have never felt more beautiful in my entire life! Not only is she amazing at what she does, she is so much fun!! We had a blast getting ready on my wedding day! I cannot recommend her enough!! ❤️

ntinued the techniques she’s taught me on a daily basis. My daughter-in-law’s (bride) makeup was flawless. Everyone’s makeup lasted the entire time. Kellie is extremely talented as well as professional and fairly priced. She is flexible in accommodating each client in the bridal party, as prep can be rather chaotic, and she is quick, pleasant and fun. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

all my girls feel fabulous! She was simply the best and easiest to work with! All of our make up was flawless and lasted the night! She was quick and efficient at getting us all done but never rushing anyone! I will book her again for any event I need! Can’t say enough at how fantastic she was!!!

day long. My husband had to do a kleenex test to make sure my makeup would not rub off. Let's just say Kellie passed the test with flying colors "A+ 💯 ". My husband was so taken back when he saw me on our wedding day. He said "Kellie did an amazing job". I would recommend Kellie to all my girl friends!

keup was perfectly flawless. Kellie also has such an infectious personality and fun energy.

han impressed, that is until I found Kellie Bode!! I found her on the knot and by reading the other reviews I knew I loved her work and her as a person before I even met her. When meeting with her for my trial run the day of my rehearsal dinner, she and I talked non stop (I’m not normally talkative to new people) and I was shocked when she said she was finished. When I looked in the mirror, I could not believe that was me. I’m pretty sure I said WOW!! My wedding day was a different story, I knew my friends were going to be very specific on how they wanted their makeup and Kellie rocked their wishes. I’m very thankful for her professionalism and her personable demeanor. Kellie you are incredible and thank you again!

esmaids. Our makeup was absolutely perfect and lasted the entire night! She is so much fun to work with, she honestly feels like she is one of your best friends! I highly recommend Kellie, and hope to have her do my makeup again in the future!

Kelli came recommended by a friend and one of my other friends has already hired her for her wedding in August 2022. She’s the best and you won’t regret it!

with the switch, Kellie was an absolute rock star to work with. So friendly and fun. All of my bridesmaids, MOB and MOG looked gorgeous - we were so happy and thankful for Kellie!

, hilarious, making everyone comfortable and feeling like they had known her forever), and makeup was one thing I never had to worry about in terms of coordinating logistics! I knew Kelly would be there on time and ready to go with a great attitude. I am so thrilled she was a part of our weekend and can't wait to use her again for future events!

e brightens up the room with her fun personality. She made my experiences great and will definitely use her again!

met her to do a makeup trial it felt like we'd known each other for years. She instantly made me feel so comfortable and she is so easy to work with. All she had to do was take a quick look at a reference photo I showed her and she was able to recreate exactly what I wanted. On the day of my wedding she did makeup for me, my 4 bridesmaids, my mom, and my MIL and everyone looked perfect. She also did my MIL's mom as a last minute addition and was so sweet about it. Kellie makes you feel like the most beautiful person in the world inside and out and that made all the difference for me on my wedding day. I was stressed about a lot of things that day but I knew I was in good hands with Kellie. Book her immediately!

us! Couldn’t have asked for it to look any more beautiful. And it looked amazing all day - I had a day wedding and it literally lasted all day and night. Kellie was also amazing because she was an absolute joy to be around. She was literally the sweetest person ever! And she made the day so much fun! If you don’t book Kellie to do the makeup for your wedding, you are truly missing out!

k that lasts through all the sweat and happy tears of a wedding. The only thing better than her skill set is her personality. I felt like I was hanging out with a friend all morning. I’d choose Kellie again in a heartbeat!

and all the ladies came out beautifully! They did 14 of us with no issues and everyone was done on time! Highly recommend her!

would have to book her for my own wedding. When that day came for me, Kellie was actually one of the first people that I contacted and booked. She made me feel so special on my wedding day. The makeup that she applied was flawless and stayed on throughout the afternoon of photos and the evening ceremony. She also made each of my bridesmaids, my mother, and my mother-in-law look fabulous! I honestly wish I could give her more stars! Love her so much and will definitely continue to ask her to do my makeup for events in the future.

w to make anyone look naturally like their best self. I would recommend her a hundred times over for any occasion!

still made every effort to make time for me on my wedding day. It is very clear that she cares about her clients and will make sure to attend to each of their needs. Professionally, Kellie is extremely reliable and efficient, but also takes her time and is patient with indecisive people like myself! I am always nervous about getting my makeup done, and I'm very particular about how I want it to look, but Kellie did it perfectly. I went for a more light/natural look and maybe showed her 2 -3 pictures of what I liked the day of my wedding, and she made me look even better than the pictures! She is able to use enough makeup to completely enhance your look and make you look perfect/flawless, without making it look fake, caked on, or too heavy. Also, the makeup STICKS the whole time. After 2 crying sessions the makeup was still there. I only had to touch up later in the night after much more crying and dancing. Aside from her amazing work, she is SO FUN and amazing to be around. I was very nervous and jittery the day of my wedding, and Kellie is the exact type of person you'd want to be around. She is so sweet and kind-hearted, and very genuine, it felt like I had known her forever. All in all, I would highly recommend Kellie! Amazing!

She is so easy going and can figure out how to make you look beautiful! She is so good at her job and she comes with many years of experience. All of my girls and my mom looked beyond flawless and beautiful and very natural. No need to look any further, book Kellie ASAP!!!!

right-lol), BU, covid had other plans and postponed our wedding till August 22, 2020. Let me tell you, Kellie calmed me, made me laugh, assured me that she would be there for whatever future date I would choose, AND she stood by her word. This woman has morals and values, I appreciate that! Now onto Kellie’s work. How many adjectives can I use to describe Kellie? Dependable, adaptable, ambitious, skilled, knowledgeable, passionate, and AMAZING. From the moment you meet her, you feel at ease, she’s so easy going, calming, organized, has the most gorgeous smile and flawless skin. My 3 rescued furry children (dogs) even loved her. She’s not just a good person, a good human, but is literally the best makeup artist out there. She not only did an incredible job with my makeup (I’m picky) - where I looked absolutely flawless, but also my 71-year-old mother and bridesmaid’s makeup. Everyone looked STUNNING, and no I’m not just saying that, I’m blunt, direct, and honest, they all looked breathtakingly beautiful. So, when I say look no further, I mean it. But if you need to see for yourself, do a trial run, but I guarantee you’ll book her.

! She listened to exactly what I wanted and made it happen.

actly how I asked. Very happy we chose her for our wedding day makeup!

ng! My fiance and I had to reschedule our wedding 3 times, and Kellie was always super accommodating and quick to respond! Kellie makes me feel and look like a queen, and I can't wait to work with her again! Although we did a small ceremony this past weekend, we will be doing another large ceremony next year and I can't wait to rock my glittery eyes again! She is truly a part of our family! THE BEST!

n though she was at our house, and kept the mood light and fun. Her beautician skills are impressive, but even more than that, her personality is one to make any bride feel calm and at peace on her wedding day. With her, it feels like catching up with a friend. I loved her so much that I had her do my makeup for a Mardi Gras ball, which lasted all night long. She even went out of her way to a second location to do my mother’s make up. Would recommend Kellie to anyone looking for a professional and natural experience.

d cohesive. Kellie and her team not only listened to everyone’s unique desires for make up and executed them perfectly, they also were professional and kept us laughing while working their magic. We would 100% recommend Kellie Bode and her team for any make up needs!

ake up, great colors and textures, and tons of experience. Her own make up is always done flawlessly and she is just beautiful!

maids were happy with their makeup and looked beautiful. She is also super nice and fun which helps on a day that can sometimes be stressful! Would definitely recommend!
