I LOVE photographing weddings because every day and every couple are so different. From super intimate elopements on the North Shore of Lake Superior to big, fully planned weddings in the heart of Minneapolis, count me IN. I try to make my couples feel comfortable and have a pain free photography experience. Yeah, smiling in front of a camera for 8 hours isn't the MOST fun, but I try to make it easy. Packages ranging from one to two photographers, only digital or add some film, and always get all of the edited images. Engagement sessions gifted to all wedding clients! Serving Duluth, Minneapolis, St. Paul and Beyond!

Kellie and Katie were amazing! We had hundreds of great photos within a week of our wedding and when looking at them we realized how unobtrusive the photographers were - we didn't ...
even know they were there most of the time! Several guests commented on this, as well. We would strongly recommend Kellie Rae Studio to anyone out there looking for great photos and a relaxed vibe! Thanks, Kellie and Katie!
Kellie is a joy to work with. She did our photos for our elopement and they came out wonderful! She is really great at what she does, and helped us feel comfortable during the phot...
os. Highly recommend !
Kellie is amazing! She works with you well in advance to be sure she knows what's important to you, and then 100% follows through on your plan! She was there exactly when she was...
supposed to be, and was able to read the room within seconds of walking in. She was casual and laid back, but still completely professional, which made it so easy to relax and trust her.
I had no idea I would turn to my photographer for so many things outside of photography... When my mom couldn't manage the buttons on my dress, Kellie staged the photo and then finished buttoning me up. When I needed a break from all the people, Kellie suddenly needed just me to go somewhere else to take a photo. She can SERIOUSLY read a room!
There are a lot of pros out there, and I know it's hard to choose, but I promise, choosing Kellie will not be something you regret!
I was initially drawn to Kellie Rae Studio after seeing her work for an elopement through Lace and Brass Events. After deciding to elope with LBE, we were thrilled to learn Kellie...
Rae Studio was an option for our wedding photography as well!
Working with Kellie and seeing our wedding images exceeded all of our initial expectations! Kellie is a blast to work with, and she gave us a sense of ease during our session we had not experienced with a photographer before. She is super laid back, funny, and creates such a natural environment that the images she captured depict the true authenticity of our love— nothing was staged or forced. She is beyond talented in her art, and when we look back at our photos, we can feel all the love that flowed through our special day all over again. In my opinion, that is the most important job of a photographer, and she nailed it!
We will definitely be using her again in the future.
Hands down, the best photographer! Kellie makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera and makes posing effortless. Our wedding was incredible and we have her to thank for ...
pictures that perfectly capture our love. Could not recommend her more (and our wedding party all agrees)!
Kellie was amazing. She did our engagement and wedding photos. She has a fun personality and is thorough on her photos. She gave us a list of family photos that we wanted or didn't...
want prior to the wedding which made for a very smooth family photo session. She was great and we are more than happy with our experience with Kellie!
We are SO happy Kellie was our wedding photographer! She is not only a phenomenal photographer, but she's really easy to get along with and takes the time to get to know you. Becau...
se we eloped with no guests attending, the quality of our photos were one of the most important parts of our wedding so we could still share our experience with our families. Kellie went above and beyond our expectations and would love to hire her again in the future!
The thing about Kellie is she is not only a phenomenal photographer and produces beautiful shots(film and digital), but she makes it fun and comfortable the entire time. Of course...
we thought she was great after our engagement pictures, but we also got a lot of comments from our Wedding Party on our wedding day that she made everything so seamless and that she was just great to be around.
We chose to get married in Duluth and Kellie was very informative as far as recommendations for 'first look' sites and various places to take shots before/after our ceremony. She communicated wonderfully- I know she is in high demand so I found this impressive. Definitely would recommend Kellie again and again!
Kellie is amazing to work with! She really took into account what we wanted for our wedding pictures and went the extra mile to make sure we got it. They turned out beautiful! Plus...
her personality is awesome and she had us laughing through all of our photos. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!
