From shoveling ice off the deck for the first look with my dad, to helping me with last minute "adjustments" before walking down the isle, Kelly was amazing. She found a wonderful local second shooter, scouted some really cool photo ops in the nature surrounding the ceremony, and made everyone at the entire wedding feel comfortable. It was like having your best friend there except she's super professional and gives you direction on how to look cute while also capturing all those little in between smiles and moments that are more candid. This extra day and time for her service was not in our contract, and Kelly was wonderfully and happily did this for us, and made the time to come to the park with us. It was wonderful! I cannot ask for better service. Not to mention the photos she took - the moments she captured, are beautiful! We constantly get compliments on our photos, and we recommend Kelly any chance we get! We confirmed our venue McCormick Home Ranch on a day when there happened to be a freak rainstorm in the middle of July 2015 (el nino). The wedding didn't have any tenting or rain precautions and the next morning when we returned with the check to finalize our date, we anxiously asked what happened to their reception and rained out wedding. It turned out that was a wedding that Kelly was shooting for a good friend of hers from college! She met us for a consultation and wanted to show us the pictures from that wedding. The shots she was able to capture under the circumstances and limited windows were amazing! We knew at that moment that she not only had the talent to get the shots, but she also had the planning and coordination skills to keep the day moving along - which was a key factor for us since the day goes by so quick! She's professional, quick to respond and makes you feel so at ease in front of the camera, even if you're not used to being photographed. Our engagement photo session was super unique and she isn't afraid to get a little dirty to capture breathtaking moments that capture who you are as a couple. She worked that wedding like a true professional and we hired her fiance Kelsey as a second shooter and a bonus shooter for an extra hand. They bring out the best in each other and the subjects they are shooting. I'm usually very self conscious in front of a camera, but on my wedding day, I'd never felt so beautiful and confident about taking a photo. From just from her teasers I know we will have photos that we will treasure forever!
