Kelly Cook Photography

We first met Kelly at Off-White, and were intrigued with her style and fun personality. We eventually booked her and could not have chosen a better photographer! WE ARE NOT PHOTOGENIC PEOPLE. I repeat: we (my now-wife and I) both HATE taking pictures! Kelly was SO amazing and easy to work with, and our engagement session turned out PERFECTLY. She made us feel at ease and her goofy jokes kept us smiling the entire time. When it came to the wedding, she was even better at managing our nerves and awkwardness to create wonderful photos for us! Our sneak peek photos from the wedding were so great and she made us look fantastic! We can't wait to see the rest of our photos! Booking Kelly was definitely one of the best choices we made for our wedding.

I met Kelly at an Off White Indie Wedding show, and her personality and professionalism shined from the moment I met her. I knew I had to work with her. I worked with Kelly on her other photography line, Paper Doll Photography. Kelly did my boudoir photos before my wedding day. I still can not believe how beautiful the photos and the photo album came out! I decided to do a boudoir shoot for a surprise for my fiancé on our wedding day. Kelly explained everything to me to make me extremely comfortable, she explained how and where the photos would be taken, what type of poses we could do and what type of outfits and props I should bring and what she had at her studio as well. The day of my photos Kelly made me extremely comfortable and excited. She played fun music and had champagne to help me relax. She then went through every outfit with me to pick out what would look best in photos to show off me the best. Not only did Kelly completely help pick out the right outfits for me, but she helped pose me in the perfect position to have my body look the way I wanted it too, but then made me laugh or talked to me so the photos were natural and not staged. I never felt more attractive in my life, well until the album came, and omg it was perfect! The album came in a beautiful leather box, and the album it’s self is a glass photo of myself for the cover. The album pages are a beautiful glossy heavy material. Ohh and I was on a time crunch because I waited till the last minute and the album arrived on time, and Kelly was accommodating for the pick up! The album made an amazing gift. My fiancé was blown away! If you are contemplating having boudoir photos done, you should 100% have Kelly take them for you! Kelly is an AMAZING photographer and person to work with! I would suggest her as a wedding photographer as well! When my husband and I do photos next year, maybe for an anniversary or such I know that Kelly will be the first photographer that I reach out to!

Kelly was a dream to work with. She was well organized, communicative, and her pictures turned out beautifully. She made us feel comfortable and we got a lot of really fun shots throughout the day!

The reason we decided to hire Paper Doll Photography for our wedding was that Kelly isn't just your typical wedding photographer. We wanted our photos to really reflect who we are as a couple, and Kelly took the time to get to know us and she really thought about interesting and unique ways to shoot the event. She started by doing an engagement photo session with us so she could get to know us better and get a feel for our tastes. For our wedding, while she made sure that our photos were reflective of our tastes and asks, Kelly also added some of her own edgy, modern feel to the photos, which we absolutely loved. She was careful to document every little detail of our day, from the flower girls getting their hair done, to the rings in boxes before the ceremony, to candid moments between me and my husband and between our guests. She isn't afraid to take less-than-traditional photos and the outcome was amazing. Since our wedding, we've hired her again to take photos of our newborn son, all of which also turned out fantastic. She's proven herself to be a creative and extremely versatile photographer and we would (and have) recommend her to anyone for their wedding or any other event.
