our wedding! I am not someone to feel super comfortable “modeling” (especially 8 months pregnant!) but Kelly made my us both feel so at ease, and made me feel so beautiful! I am grateful for the photos we get to look back at forever in such a positive and fun light. We obviously HAD to have her shoot our wedding too!! We loved how our photos came out, as we knew we would, but what really made us feel so grateful to have Kelly Jean Photography there on our wedding day, was when the skies opened up! As a bride, a little panic sets in. But without skipping a beat or panicking herself, Kelly grabbed a handful of adorable clear umbrellas from her car and reassured us that the show must go on! We enjoyed the rest of our wonderful night as she caught the best moments on camera. The pictures were bright & beautiful, and you wouldn’t have even known it poured if it wasn’t for the beautiful rainbow it left behind. We also had her shoot film as well, which ended up being some of our favorite shots. Weeks after all the excitement, we even came home one day to a package which had some of our favorite prints, a wallet sized photo book, and a note. We recommend Kelly Jean Photography to anyone who is looking for a kind, fun, easygoing photographer, who goes the extra mile for her clients!

I also felt like I didn't have to worry about anything on the day of my wedding, Kelly and all my other vendors had such a great flow that I never had to worry if everything was being done the way I planned. I felt like she always had a plan for herself for photos but always left room for spontaneity or if she suddenly found a great spot for a photo. 10/10 would recommend!

ad about my big day. I was SO nervous and thought I would be so awkward in front of the camera, but during our complimentary engagement photo shoot I quickly realized I had nothing to worry about. Kelly is so communicative during the shoots, either telling us what to do or saying something to us that helps her get the most perfect & natural shots. Kelly was so good at communicating with us, and had such helpful forms to keep everything organized and ensure we don’t miss anything. On my wedding day Kelly was such a pleasure to have around me. She was so patient, caring and calm, while also making sure we stay on top of our timeline. She gave me moments alone with my husband and my family which I didn’t realize I would appreciate so much. Even though she was with me the whole day, she was never in my face. She seamlessly juggled a lot of different people and personalities for our portraits and even got my 2 year old niece to stand still and smile for pictures by going out of her way to make her feel comfortable. Days after my wedding Kelly had sent me a “sneak peek” of my wedding photos, which turned out to be way more photos than I expected. Each and every one were so beautiful, real and sentimental to me. I was absolutely blown away by her work and I will cherish them for the rest of my life. Not only is Kelly an amazingly talented photographer, she is also an amazing person and it has been such a pleasure to have gotten to know her. Her work speaks for itself and her warm and caring personality is a major bonus :)

At both our engagement photos and on wedding day, Kelly showed up in so many ways and truly made us feel special. She puts everyone at ease and is a MASTER at organizing family/group photos. Her process was so professional and smooth that everyone commented on how easy it was to get those shots (even as she was juggling 30+ people...in the pouring rain). We were a victim of the fall 2023 rainy wedding days and you would NEVER know looking at our photos that it was absolutely freezing and raining all day. She was so encouraging and seamlessly adapted to our day as it switched to an indoor ceremony, and honestly made me feel like she was in my corner. Kelly has a plan for everything and that allowed me to be present in my day rather than stressing about how to "fix" the rain. She captured all of the photos that she knew were special to me and was ready to pivot as needed throughout the day when I wanted to add/take things out. than I could have imagined. We were already blown away by the engagement shoot Kelly did for us back in December 2022, but our wedding day photos were the real prize. Our whole gallery stunningly represents the moody, romantic look that drew me to Kelly Jean’s photos in the first place. I thought the rain would ruin the outdoor wedding we’d dreamed of for the last year and a half. But Kelly Jean knew exactly how to turn the weather into something truly wonderful — and the rain became the most beautiful backdrop for our ceremony photos. On top of that, the weather didn’t stop Kelly from committing to every detail of our day. She was a total pro (geared up in rain boots and a rain jacket) through every part of the wedding and knew exactly how to shift away from sunny day photos to what worked for rainy weather. We are FOREVER grateful we found Kelly Jean and have all these stunning memories to hold onto for life. Her unique, artistic approach and attention to detail truly shines through every photo. The empathy and compassion that you showed us is immeasurable. I can not put into words truly how special you are to us. When I came to you back in 2020 explaining that I had not found "The one" in a photographer you agreed and understood you told me if you don't feel it with me either its okay. Its okay not to pick your first, second or even third photographer. THAT is how I knew you were the one. nning. Kelly gave us a questionnaire to fill out beforehand so she knew exactly what pictures we wanted her to capture. She and her assistant, Amanda, had the list of shots that were must haves so we didn't miss anyone! I can't stress enough how helpful and stress-free this entire process was with Kelly! Kelly and Amanda were super friendly and were able to handle the craziness of the day along with getting the younger kids to pose for pictures - which can feel impossible! Our album was delivered within a few weeks and we are so happy with all of the pictures from our special day. When it was time to select the pictures for our album, Kelly walked us through that process and helped us focus on which pictures would work best to showcase the day. Kelly knew we were in a rush to get our save the dates out and she was able to turn those photos around quickly without losing any quality. She also happened to be the second shooter at my best friend’s wedding and it was a complete surprise to see her there! Even at my friend’s wedding, she was so wonderful and attentive. She came to the rescue when one of the bridesmaid’s forgot the groom’s ring inside, grabbing the ring before the “I dos.” On our wedding day, she came to the rescue again with various things! rson to capture our day. Kelly had a great variety of photography packages to choose from and was very flexible with customizing her offerings to fit our specific needs. To start, Kelly did an incredible job on our engagement pictures. These pictures are timeless and really capture who we are as a couple. Kelly scouted the location I chose so that she was prepared to get only the best angles and lightning. She really delivered!! Aside from her natural photography skills, she was so personable, friendly, and fun to work with. We didn’t really know what to expect for an engagement shoot and we’re a bit nervous however, she lightened the mood and made us comfortable from the start. Kelly stayed in touch with us over the year of wedding planning and kept the excitement going. When it got closer, she created a timeline of the day and met with me over Zoom to get a better sense of what I wanted vs didn’t want. She really listened and made that come to life. It’s been one week since our wedding day and we are still floating. In this short week she has sent us sneak peaks and a preview gallery. It was so exciting to get these pictures prior to our full gallery being ready! Not only was my husband and I so happy with Kelly, many of our family and friends took the time to tell us how excellent our photographer was! That felt like a true testament to Kelly and her skills. We cannot wait to work with Kelly again in the future!

Kelly doesn't do this- she is a master at all forms of editing and photography and changes up her style to match your specific wants and your venue/ event vibe. She is so so sweet, attentive and professional. She has a keen eye for detail, makes you feel so comfortable and takes absolutely stunning shots. She and her second shooter (Julia) arrived early for our wedding and seriously worked their butts off all night long! She even got me a handful of edited photos within 12 hours and then even more two days later. We are so incredibly thankful to both Kelly and Julia for their part in capturing our big day. Hiring Kelly was honestly one of the BEST decisions we made for our wedding. She is wonderful! 10/10 would HIGHLY recommend.
