Kelly Jo was an absolute dream to work with on my wedding day, and I can't recommend her enough! From the very start, the entire experience was seamless — her website was easy to n...
avigate, the payment portal was straightforward, and her communication leading up to the big day was clear and prompt. She showed up right on time and kept everything running on schedule, which is exactly what you need when you're already managing a million moving pieces.
As someone who doesn't wear makeup regularly, I was a little nervous, but Kelly Jo immediately put me at ease. She listened carefully to my requests and concerns, made adjustments based on my feedback, and the result was stunning — I felt truly beautiful. She has such a fun, warm energy that made the whole morning feel relaxed and enjoyable rather than stressful.
She also worked her magic on my mom, who has super curly hair and had real concerns about finding a style that would work for her. Kelly Jo took it all in stride and delivered something my mom loved. And she even offered touch-ups for my husband, which was such a thoughtful extra touch.
If you're looking for a hair and makeup artist who is talented, professional, punctual, and genuinely lovely to be around on one of the most important days of your life — Kelly Jo is your person. We are so grateful!
I was instantly drawn to Kelly’s natural look for hair and makeup for our intimate May wedding in Napa, but she is a genuine and sweet person as well. We had a small miscommunicati...
on over the trial, but Kelly accommodated my schedule and worked with me so we could still do the trial. Kelly handled the hair and makeup for myself and the two mothers on the day of and did an amazing job, gracefully navigating some skin sensitivities. Kelly did it all on the day of the wedding to include helping me adjust my birdcage veil and doing a last minute adjustment of the Groom’s hair. On top of all that, she jumped in to save the day and pinned the Best Dog’s bow tie to his collar when it would not stay straight. We all felt and looked fabulous on the day of thanks to Kelly’s talent and I highly recommend her for a flawless hair and makeup look.

Thank you Kelly, you are the definition of a makeup and hair artist.
Kelly went above and beyond for me during my elopement. She did my hair, makeup, and stayed throughout portraits to do touch-ups. She listened to what I wanted from a wedding look ...
and was able to not only perfect it but share her expertise. I have never felt more beautiful. She truly was such a helpful, calming presence to have around on our elopement day.
Sooo happy with my decision to work with Kelly Jo Beauty! For starters, it was really helpful to do the HMU trial to see how the makeup sat on my skin over time, decide where to cl...
ip in my veil, etc. - totally worth it (and fun 🙂)! Kelly Jo is super down to earth and lovely to chat with, and was really open to making adjustments and gave helpful tips to get the best results on my wedding day. She and Kate Miller did hair and makeup for my bridesmaids, mom, mother in law, and me and they were able to capture what each of us was envisioning so well. Everyone looked gorgeous and felt their best. The team was so flexible and patient, and we all had a great time hanging out with them as they did their magic! Overall it was a wonderful experience. Look no further for your HMU artist!

eedback, and was so friendly and fun to spend time with as we got ready. She also ensured I had a makeup artist for my reception in San Jose the next day. Ashlynn was also amazing and gave me the perfect reception look! Highly recommend Kelly Jo and her team!!

ve been happier! We all wanted a similar, relatively natural (but still elevated) look, and she nailed it! Everyone felt comfortable and loved their final look, and the makeup stayed all day and night — I didn’t even need to reapply lipstick once! On top of that, Kelly is so friendly and sweet. I can’t recommend her enough — she is the best!
