My spouse and I hired Kelly a few years ago to do the photography for our celebration party weekend. The photography was a central reason for the weekend, and we wanted someone who...
would capture us. Kelly's journey into photography was memorable to us, particularly her path toward capturing ceremonies, and the worry I felt that we wouldn't find someone who would be up to my vision of the weekend was immediately erased. Kelly took photos that truly captured the two of us, and was SO dedicated to taking photos where we both felt exactly like ourselves while also captured our landscape and scenery in a way that was stunning. At one point, she was on the ground, scooting on her butt up a hill and then fully leaned back into the dirt to capture the best framing for a photo. We couldn't be happier with our photos, and would strongly recommend her to you.
Having Kelly photograph our wedding was one of the best decisions we made! Kelly captured our day so beautifully and authentically, and every photo feels full of emotion and joy. S...
he made us feel comfortable, confident, and relaxed throughout the entire day, which made such a difference. Her communication, professionalism, and talent are unmatched. We are beyond thankful for the memories she captured and will treasure these photos forever!
Kelly is an extraordinary photographer—thoughtful, intuitive, and endlessly creative. We hired her for our wedding years ago, and she’s been our trusted photographer ever since. We...
were absolutely blown away by our wedding photos, and to this day, we cherish our gorgeous coffee table album. It’s something we return to often and holds so many meaningful memories for us.
She has a remarkable ability to read a moment and capture it at exactly the right time, with perfect lighting, composition, and emotion. Her photos never feel staged; instead, they feel honest, effortless, and full of meaning. She consistently delivers images that not only look beautiful, but also feel like us, which is such a rare and special gift!
After getting engaged, my fiancé and I joked about eloping multiple times before we thought… what if we actually did? We knew we wanted something deeply meaningful, intentional, an...
d that felt like an adventure. While researching, I came across the idea of an adventure elopement, and we were immediately intrigued. I found Kelly soon after on social media and booked a discovery call.
We had a lot of concerns going into that call. Would we enjoy doing something so non-traditional for our wedding? Would it feel stressful or overly posed? How would we even plan something like this? And on top of all of that, photography is such a huge investment, and you only get one chance at it. We wanted to feel completely confident in whoever we chose.
During our discovery call, Kelly addressed every single one of those concerns. She was warm, informative, and took the time to genuinely get to know us as a couple. She also had a very clear and detailed planning process for the entire experience, which immediately put us at ease. She made our crazy idea of an adventure elopement feel doable and fun. We felt like we clicked with her right away and knew we wanted someone like her guiding us on our wedding day.
We did an engagement session with her about a month before the wedding, and I can’t recommend that enough. It was such a great way to spend more relaxed time together before the big day. Kelly has this incredible ability to set the mood and make each session with her feel grounded, intimate, and meaningful, not awkward or like a photoshoot. We both left feeling like we had been friends with her for years.
Our wedding experience with Kelly was honestly beyond anything we expected. She made everything feel effortless and natural, while still guiding us in a way that elevated every moment. If you have a team of vendors, she does an amazing job keeping everyone on track throughout the day, which kept everything organized and running smoothly. We planned a two-day elopement and ran into some pretty big challenges on both days, and Kelly was genuinely a lifesaver. She went above and beyond in every way (coordinating with vendors, shifting timelines and plans, problem solving for us, and crying with us when the universe seemed determined to ruin our plans). She was encouraging, gracious, and resourceful at every turn, and I truly don’t know what we would have done without her. Kelly made sure we could have the wedding we had always envisioned, and it was honestly incredible.
And her photos speak for themselves. They are stunning and somehow even more beautiful than we ever imagined. They feel like us but elevated, and she somehow managed to capture the depth of our love for one another in a way I didn’t know was possible. Every time I look at them, I’m brought right back into how we felt on those days.
If you’re on the fence about hiring Kelly, I would say this: your photographer shapes more than just your photos. They shape your entire experience. Especially for something intimate or non-traditional, this matters more than anything else you invest in on your wedding day. Kelly is someone you can fully trust with both. She doesn’t just capture beautiful images. She helps you create an experience to match your own personalized vision for what you want your day to look like. For us, she was so much more than our photographer, and we are beyond grateful to have the photos she took to cherish for the rest of our lives. We really can't recommend her enough!
Kelly is an amazing photographer and person, inside and out. She took our proposal, engagement, wedding, and maternity photos, and I cannot imagine that anyone else could capture t...
hese moments better than Kelly.
From the start, she listened to our hopes for each special day, and thoughtfully brought our dream photos to life. She continually offered her expertise on everything from location to styling with grace and poise. I have never felt as confident in photos as those Kelly took, and that speaks to her fantastic “eye” and many years of experience. She has captured every special moment in our lives and delivered beautiful photographs - and memories - in return. We are so grateful to have these beautiful photos, and we cannot recommend her enough!

ng to work with both in individual/group shots and somehow makes everyone appear photogenic. She captured some truly unbelievable photos and really brought out the natural beauty of the mountains, water, trees, etc which was important to us. Highly recommend!
I feel like the two most important things to know about Kelly is that she is so fun to work with and she is a magician!

d learns about you as a couple so that she can see and cultivate moments of connection between you and your partner. It makes the photos feel very sincere and true to your love. She has a gift at capturing these moments and using the light and environment to tell your story.
Kelly makes you feel at ease so that the photos are very natural. You just want to be her new best friend and that makes it easy to be yourself, and honest about your experience, what you’d like from your photos, and how you want to remember your wedding. I highly recommend doing the engagement photos because it is good practice for you as a couple—it’s a little awkward to know what to do with yourself when someone is following you around with a camera, but this session helps you mentally prepare for the main event and identify what you would like to see more of in the wedding photos.
Our photos were gorgeous and Kelly went above and beyond. I asked her to lean into candids and the experience of being in the outdoors at Olympic National Park. That’s exactly what she did and more. She captured the spirit of the weekend and the place and let me see things that I didn’t get to experience for myself. And when our dance party turned into a catwalk, she rolled with it and took the greatest series of my friends in their fun costumes, and at my nudging, danced down the runway in her costume.
She was so good at communicating throughout the weekend, leading up to it, and afterwards. She continues to keep in touch with us and all of her former couples by hosting fun events. I cannot recommend her enough. I look back at my photos all the time when I want to remember all the love.
Choosing Kelly Lemon Photography was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. Before hiring a photographer, one of our biggest worries was finding someone who would not o...
nly make us feel comfortable but who would genuinely embrace and celebrate love like ours. Representation and acceptance were incredibly important to us — we wanted someone who would see our relationship for the joy, depth, and beauty it holds.
From our very first virtual meeting with Kelly, every worry completely disappeared. She has one of the kindest, warmest souls, and it was immediately clear that she embraces all forms of love wholeheartedly. She made us feel seen, respected, and celebrated — and that sense of safety and belonging allowed us to be fully ourselves in front of the camera.
On the wedding day, Kelly was everything we hoped for and more. She guided us with such natural ease, kept the energy fun and grounded, and had this incredible ability to be both present and unobtrusive. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how amazing she was. She worked seamlessly with all of our vendors and helped keep the day flowing smoothly.
And the photos… absolutely breathtaking. She captured the big emotional moments, the quiet little ones, and all the joy radiating from our friends and family. Most importantly, she captured us — our love, our story, and our connection — in a way that felt authentic and deeply personal.
Kelly exceeded every expectation. If you’re looking for a photographer who is not only insanely talented but also compassionate, inclusive, and genuinely passionate about celebrating every kind of love, we cannot recommend Kelly enough. She gave us memories and images we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

k of repeating myself I could not have hoped for a better experience and the pictures themselves were incredible and are cherished by my partner and I. I can’t recommend her highly enough and I was lucky to have her in my corner for that incredible adventure!
Choosing the right photographer was a top priority in planning our wedding, and we can confidently say that we found the best with Kelly. From the beginning, she brought an incredi...
ble level of thoughtfulness and expertise to the process. She went far beyond just photography, helping us with everything from location scouting to timeline planning.
Our guests were blown away by her professionalism, and we were absolutely thrilled with her pictures. We were a little nervous about being in front of the camera, but Kelly made the entire experience feel effortless and fun. She also helped us plan a magical adventure day that involved riding a scenic ski lift, paddling a canoe, visiting a local bar, and a breathtaking hike.
We honestly can't recommend her enough! It's hard to imagine having such an amazing experience with anyone else!
Kelly was an absolute JOY to work with! I fell in love with her work the first time I saw it, and I knew from our first conversation she would be perfect for our wedding day.
We ...
split our day into two parts- Day 1 was our wedding and celebration with family and friends and Day 2 was a sunset hike for our wedding photos with Mt. Rainier as the star of the show. She was so helpful and quick to respond. Never tired of all of my questions. My husband is not comfortable in front of the camera, but she made both days so easy and comfortable.
Everybody raved and still raves about Kelly and not only her stunning photos, but her beautiful personality, inside and out. She made the days feel less stressful, flow perfectly, and just so much fun! I can not say enough wonderful things about her. I would choose her again and again. If you're looking for someone who not only provides you with everything you could ever want and more, personable, and as I mentioned a joy to work with, she is your girl!

ng out our emotions with her engaging conversation, music, and encouraging guidance. Her ability to capture our genuine moments of joy and love was truly remarkable. Each photo beautifully reflects our special connection, thanks to Kelly's talent and dedication.
We couldn't have asked for a better photographer to capture such an important milestone in our lives. If you're looking for someone professional, creative, and a joy to work with, we highly recommend Kelly!

Kelly went above and beyond our expectations and provided sneak peak photos just days after our photography date. We are so lucky to have found her and look forward to using her for future photo shoots!!

easy to communicate with and made us feel so comfortable. My fiancé and I aren’t ones to take many photos of ourselves, so we were pretty nervous going into our first photo shoot together, but Kelly made the whole process so enjoyable. I also really appreciated her knowledge of locations around us. She took us to the perfect area. Thank you, Kelly!
Hiring Kelly is a slam dunk guarantee that you'll absolutely love your photos AND will have a blast taking them. I've followed her work for 10 years, and both my sister and I hired...
her for our engagement + wedding photos. She captures YOU, and makes sure that the whole experience feels natural and true to the couple. The results are natural and beautiful. She's provides guidance and instruction throughout the photoshoot, so even the least photo-friendly folks (hi, it's me) will feel absolutely beautiful looking at the results. Finally, she's simply a good person, and a good energy to have around on your shoot or wedding day. Hire her!! :)
Kelly is amazing, fantastic, wonderful - there aren't enough words to describe how awesome she is! Working with her was so easy, she was friendly and down to earth and easy to talk...
to and connect with from the very beginning. Her guidance leading up to and on our elopement day was invaluable and, as a result, we have INCREDIBLE photos from the day. We never felt rushed or pressured, and there was always time/chances to redo a shot if need be to make sure we have the perfect coverage of every location or activity. Our families were present for a total of 8 of us, and Kelly felt like one of the family the entire time. She directed all of us and helped us feel comfortable and genuinely authentic the entire day. Even though an elopement is just as exhausting as a traditional wedding, Kelly remained positive and kind throughout the day, checking in with us and making sure we had what we needed. She also has wonderful connections with vendors, such as flowers and hair and makeup, and each person that we worked with through Kelly's recommendation was exceptional. My now husband and I interviewed a lot of people for the elopement photographer role, and Kelly knocked it out of the park on day one. You CANNOT go wrong if you choose to work with her. She's the best.
Kelly in a word is MAGIC. She was a pleasure to work with. Kelly guided us through the shoot and gave us super helpful ideas to get us amazing nature photos. We were super lucky to...

I tell you what, Kelly is absolutely amazing at what she does. I had followed her for some time, always admiring her work from afar and truly th...
inking I could never even have the possibility to work with her due to how much of a pedestal I had her work on! Truly breathtaking. When I got engaged, I had remembered her making a post about elopements on social media -- and I immediately went to check out the details she had wrote, as well as her website for packages. Given the post-COVID and 2020 climate we were in, I knew I wanted to get married ASAP, as well as extremely memorable. I quickly realized that Kelly's amazing talent was within our reach - and quickly booked a consultation. WOW! Her personality and demeanor was so welcoming and inviting. She was open to every idea we had and gave me encouragement through this tough planning season amid COVID. We knew she was our girl! We quickly booked our date and began planning our elopement. She made the MOST FABULOUS elopement guide for us to review and draw ideas from. It was great for so many reasons, especially for letting our imagination take over the process! She also calmed my nerves and gave me encouragement when I would get stressed or overwhelmed with the process (or lack there of).
The day came - and we met, and truly, she is the most kind, personable woman! She is AMAZING. We woke up at 2am to start getting ready for our sunrise hike and she was SO excited and happy to be joining. She gave us helpful tips as we prepared to take off, reminded me to eat breakfast and we were on our way! The hike we decided on was no easy feat -- and she rocked it out! 1500 feet incline- in snow, wind and 15-20 degree temperatures - in the dark! We summited our location and she guided us on poses, suggested different ideas and was truly so wonderful to work with. She made it fun, did not complain about the terrible conditions (like I did every 2 minutes) --- and was stoked on the time together the entire day!
We continued down the mountain to our ceremony location, and once again, perfection!
But, honestly, these words don't even truly do justice to her finished work. Our images were breathtaking! She truly made magic. We were in the middle of a fog storm and she somehow made us look like we were in the perfect place at the perfect moment. Her vision and ability combined saved our elopement! The pictures brought tears to my eyes and I truly have received more compliments on them than anything else in my life. Her work is amazing, but Kelly is truly unparalleled - she is an amazing woman, wonderful friend and the most kind individual. I cannot wait to work with her again and again. You will NOT EVER regret meeting and working with her!
Kelly is without a doubt the most generous, kind hearted, uplifting soul I have ever met, not to mention the most talented photographer.
I loved Kelly’s work from the get-go, her ...
style is so beautiful, bright and romantic, but I was determined to scope out every photographer I could find to make sure I made the right decision on who to capture our wedding. I am one of the pickiest people, but I was also a photography major in college, and I know exactly what I want. After countless hours of research, I landed back on Kelly - and thank god I did! Why? For so many reasons I won’t be able to fit onto this page.
I met with Kelly for the first time at a wine bar, where we sat and talked for hours not only about photography but about life. She’s truly curious, interested and invested in everyone around her. She wants to get to know YOU so she understands how to truly capture your photos in the way that suits you best. She wants to understand your vision and execute it, and she does, flawlessly.
When it comes to Kelly’s photography skills, (and I say this knowing what I know about photography myself) there is no one like her. Her photos are elegant and timeless, her colors and edits are true to tone, and crisp yet soft and romantic. How can someone make photos look like this? She is so incredibly talented. She has a raw talent that not many have, paired with her ability to get to know everyone around her, she’s honestly the perfect person to photograph your wedding (or anything you ask her to do).
Now let’s talk Covid real quickly. Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and Kelly was by far the most helpful vendor I worked with. She not only had multiple zoom wine nights with me (her idea!) as I grieved my lost wedding celebrations, but she was actually the person who came up with a plan for our wedding that didn’t feel like a plan B, but instead felt just as exciting as the original wedding we had planned. We texted back and forth consistently to create a new plan and Kelly’s priority had always been for us to be excited for whatever celebration we could have. I couldn’t believe that after having to cancel our entire wedding, Kelly inspired me and actually helped me to feel excited about something other than our original wedding plans! She not only worked with us on timing, coordination, finances, and organization, throughout all the chaos, but she was the most patient person along the way. She answered my abundant emails and questions so quickly I couldn’t believe it! Kelly also continuously calmed my nerves, made me feel comfortable, helped me to laugh, and also helped remind me to slow down and breathe. Can I talk to Kelly every day of my life?
Kelly and all that she brings to the table is exactly what you need beside you during not just your wedding day, but any stressful time you may encounter.
My wedding day was not perfect, though magical, it was stressful, and I consistently looked to Kelly for reassurance and positivity, which she always gave with such ease. The weather drastically changed last minute at our wedding and the view was completely covered with fog. Kelly knew I was so upset that she stayed a day extra at our destination wedding to give us extra highlight edits so that I could see how beautiful our wedding photos turned out.
Kelly is a gem. Do not hesitate to hire her. I promise you will not be disappointed! She’s beyond talented and was simply the best decision I made.
We could not recommend Kelly enough! First off, Kelly has been the photographer for both of my sisters weddings and has become a family friend of ours. So actually even before I ev...
er got engaged I already knew that I wanted Kelly to capture my wedding. Kelly has such a way of making photo sessions so special. Our engagement shoot was supposed to be in May 2020 in Mexico, however we had to cancel due to Covid. Though we were pretty bummed out that the engagement shoot was canceled for the forseeable future, Kelly provided hope for us and let us know that she would be there for us throughout it all. As Summer went by I started to get a little antsy and realize that we might not be able to jump on a plane to go do our beachy themed engagement shoot as we imagined. So I called Kelly and asked her what she thought about going to the Oregon coast as we live in Seattle, WA. She loved the idea and it was completely on board with it! We ended up booking a date for the two weeks later and just got back from our shoot and let me tell you about the shoot..
I’ve seen a lot of engagement photos & wedding photos and a lot of them tend to look a little bit staged with the same generic poses. But Kelly captured us being us and captured our love so naturally. It didn’t feel like we were behind a camera the entire time and she made it so personal that it really sparked so much more love than I would’ve imagined during a photoshoot. I don’t want to give too much away, but she really puts in a lot of time to make the photo shoots feel beyond special.
Kelly invests in the relationships with her clients. Because she has become a friend of ours over the years, Kelly knows a lot about us! When I recommended doing a wine cheers scene on the beach because that just seemed easiest, she asked me what I thought about a cocktail scene as she knew that whether we are at the beach on vacation or at our home, we love to enjoy a good cocktail! I loved this idea as it was SO much more “us.” Also not to mention, the night before the shoot, at sunset we grabbed a pizza with her and her sweet family, laid out some blankets on the beach and chatted the night away!
Kelly was so helpful the day of the shoot. Having never done this before, I didn’t really have exact places where we wanted to do the shoot identified. Kelly helped us scope out multiple spots before our engagement shoot to ensure that they were the right locations that we would be happy with. She played music created all the good vibes and really helped us see our love story come to life. I honestly just felt like we were on a really fun romantic date and Kelly was capturing it. We are so thankful that Kelly is our photographer, I knew this before the engagement shoot, but I cannot be more excited for our wedding day for when she does capture those magical moments!
I am so beyond excited to get our photos back! I’m not lying, every time she showed me the photos on her camera I would genuinely shriek with joy, as I was so ecstatic about the way they were turning out. Not only was the experience amazing but she is one heck of a photographer and she really knows how to capture an amazing photo. I’ve had my photos taken before, but the detail that she goes into to set up the perfect scene- I’ve never experienced before.
I would highly recommend Kelly for anyone who values being able to be their true authentic self during their photo shoots and feeling 100% comfortable the entire time. Kelly is amazing!
We chose Kelly to be our wedding photographer because of her high quality photos that didn’t seem too posed or forced. What we got was more than we could have ever dreamed of! We ...
originally planned to have a big wedding, but due to COVID, we had to change plans twice and pivoted to a hiking elopement adventure. Kelly was a huge supporter of this and even helped us plan many of the details of the day. She went out of her way to ensure our day would be so special and magical! Our wedding day was pure magic and Kelly captured it all so beautifully. SERIOUSLY, I have had multiple people tell me that our wedding photos are the most amazing they have ever seen! (And I agree). Kelly truly pours her heart into her work and we feel like she really captured our love story perfectly.

ly. Her photos speak for themselves - they are beautiful, artistic, and natural. Kelly gives great direction for everyone - bride, groom (family photos!) so you don't need any "experience" in front of a camera to look like a model! As much as I loved our shoots, I was totally surprised to see I actually loved the CANDIDS from the ceremony and reception! She captures the little moments between ourselves, our guests, and family. Kelly is thoughtful, kind, positive, and you feel like you have a relaxed, not-stressed, super smart/encouraging friend with you through it all.

s extremely helpful and professional. The kids were super impressed with her during the engagement photos and the photos were beautiful. Then on the wedding day she just blew us away with her professionalism, skill, but mostly the care she took with my daughter, her new husband and the rest of our family. She made sure everyone was comfortable and happy all day. What a sweet, giving person she is. The way she directs people for the perfect shot is truly amazing. Then at the end of the night she surprised us all with a sneak peak on her laptop. We were so excited to see some of the photos right then and there. By the end of the evening she was like part of our family. So much so that we've booked her for my other daughter's wedding next year!

raphy. Kelly is so much more than a photographer. She wants to learn about your story and get to know you and uses that background as another lens so to speak to convey who her clients are through her photos. She was very personable and willing to share about herself and when you hear her story you’ll understand just how passionate she is about photography. Her professionalism and expertise were exemplary and she made the experience so comfortable with her direction and cues. We highly recommend her!

to capture our Happily Ever After. She is incredibly sweet, professional and a pleasure to work with. We loved just chatting with her about life, faith and everything in between. Kelly took incredibly good care of me the day of our wedding even making sure I was eating and drinking enough! She spent so much time making sure we had all the pictures that we wanted, and then some. She climbed wet rocks, windy cliffsides and so much more for the perfect shot. We had a wonderful experience working with her and will definitely work with her again if the opportunity should arise!
Kelly is absolutely amazing! She is with you every step of the way during the wedding planning process to make sure the pictures on your wedding day are exactly what you want. She ...
is so calm and understanding during last minute changes, not to mention one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She goes above and beyond in every way, such as staying for 2 hours longer than planned to edit photos in the back room to have a small highlight album ready for us when we woke up the day after the wedding! She really pays attention to all of the little details and captures those personal moments that you typically don't see in other photographers photos. I would HIGHLY recommend Kelly for both engagement photos and wedding photos no matter where you live!
Kelly Lemon is like no other. She has been so incredibly supportive, loving, and wonderful throughout our wedding day as well as the days before. Not only is she incredibly strong,...
overcoming various odds throughout her life, she is a phenomenal photographer. The moments she captures are so genuine and beautiful. She helps guide you through every step of every photo without being pushy or bossy. She never gets offended if you dont want a certain pose or group shot. And before she departed for the night, she had a slideshow already edited and ready to go for us to have the next morning. Kelly is an delight with family and a professional all around. Thank you Kelly!
I have no higher praise for Kelly other than to say to hire her for your wedding!! She was SO sweet, and really took extra time to get to know us and make the whole experience real...
ly personal. The day of the wedding we had so many family and friends to wrangle for pictures and Kelly was able to handle everything without a hitch. Someone described her as a "velvet hammer" -- she was kind and sweet, but at the same time, got everything that needed to be done in the time allotted. She went the extra mile to make sure she had all the shots she needed and the ones I have seen so far are incredible. She has a distinct style different from most other photographers and her photos are incredible. In short, do yourself a favor and hire Kelly!!
Kelly is absolutely brilliant. I can’t say enough about her artistry and professionalism. My husband and I spent a lot of time with her through our engagement photos, our extra pho...
to session, as well as our wedding day. When looking for a wedding photographer, one of the most important attributes for us is to find someone who could direct us well and (I won’t lie) make us look good. We’re both camera shy and wouldn’t know how to pose for pictures at all. We needed someone who could make us feel comfortable and position us well so we could have memories that would last a lifetime. Kelly did that and so much more. If she felt we were stiff or awkward she would make us laugh and dance it out. She hung out with us to figure out our quirks and personalities and became more of a friend than just a photographer. She also took the time to scout out our locations beforehand, so she already knew the best spots to take our pictures.
I also made a request for a huge group picture after the ceremony that included all our guests and Kelly figured out how to mobilize close to 250 people quickly and made it look awesome! We were so impressed.
Throughout the whole process she helped us have fun with each other and the results were amazing! I loved every picture she selected for us and am in awe of the quality of pictures we received. She is a truly beautiful person and it shows through her artwork. My husband and I are so blessed to have had her as our wedding photographer, I’d want to do it all over again!
p.s. If you have the option to take boudoir pictures with Kelly… DO IT! I was a bit nervous going into it, but Kelly makes you feel so comfortable and even turned me into a model! Let’s just say my husband is very happy. :)
We heart Kelly! She was such a joy to work with. Kelly has a presence about her that puts you at ease. She takes the time to get to know you as a person and as a couple. When our w...
edding day rolled around, it felt like a long lost friend was taking our photos. The candid shots are my favorite! She has an eye for capturing those special moments that you will cherish forever. She will even stand out in the pouring rain, on a ladder, to get the shots you requested! You want the Kelly Experience on your big day. Trust me, you wont be disappointed!
I cannot express how happy I am that we found Kelly!
She is professional, organized, extremely talented, and on top of it all - such a warm, thoughtful, genuine person whose lo...
ve for what she does truly shines through every photograph.
From the day that we met Kelly she treated us like friends, not clients.
Throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding day, Kelly met with us for dinners, puppy dates, a day trip with her hubby to wine taste/hike (for our engagement sesh!).
We felt that we were really able to connect with her and know who Kelly was. So come the wedding day. She wasn't just a "vendor" standing in the corner taking pictures of us, it was like a friend (a really professional talented friend) hanging out and interacting with us, our friends and family taking our pictures. And because of this she not only was able to take pictures that captured all the little details that we poured our hearts into, but she caught the sentiments of our guests, the laughter that my husband and I share, and truly illustrated the loving and fun environment that was shared during our wedding. I look through our pictures and the feeling of the day is just so present in all the images.
I cannot gush enough about her talent, but she also was extremely helpful with making sure the day of details ran smoothly. She communicated well not only with us, but the rest of our vendors (videographers, day of coordinator DJ etc), she was able to direct/corral our family and friends with respect, and she would always check on me to make sure that I was truly soaking in everything of the wonderful day.
Kelly is amazing and made our wedding day so wonderfully memorable.
If you are looking for a wedding photographer that will spend the time to get to know you, details about your relationship, your passion, personalities and vision for your wedding ...
day, look no further. Kelly was an absolute joy to work with from the moment we met her! Her passion for photography and her clients shines through in her work. She offered us an engagement session as part of our photography package which was such a great way for us to get comfortable photographing with her and she was up for an adventure! She was thrilled when we asked if she would photograph us out at Rattlesnack Lake in North Bend. She has inovative ideas in the way she captures each moment and memory and we could not have been more pleased with Kelly! I could go on and on about Kelly and her beautiful work but simply put she is professional, works well with large families, is innovative, incredibly sweet and has become a dear friend to us! Her photography packages are also an unbeatable value. Not to mention, she makes you feel beautiful and stress free on your wedding day. I will never forget her raw excitement whenever she captured a stunning photo at our wedding. Kelly is THE BEST!!
I seriously can't say enough good things about Kelly. My fiancé and I looked for a photographer for a very long time and we ended up picking Kelly, even though she lives in Seattle...
and we live in Denver, because no one compares! She did our engagement pictures about a month ago and they are absolutely incredible. We found a new friend the first time we met her and she was able to capture our personality in every single picture. We were a little nervous prior to the photo shoot but as soon as we started she made us feel so comfortable and we had such a good time. We asked Kelly if our dogs could be included in our engagement pictures and she loved that idea and was really great with them! They loved her and she was able to get great photos even though they weren’t exactly behaving! We feel really lucky to have found Kelly and we are SO excited for her to photograph our wedding next fall.
Amazing photographer with a great attitude and ability to capture photos that don't look forced or fake :-) Very happy with our engagement photos!

t around you on your wedding day making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. The photos we got were breathtaking. She truly captured our personalities in every picture! Thank you Kelly!!!
If you want photographs that capture the time, the memories, the emotions, then you MUST have Kelly Lemon Photography be a part of your big day!
I do not even know where to begin ...
when it comes to Kelly Lemon Photography and the amazing woman behind the camera. From the moment Kelly and I first interacted I knew without a doubt that I wanted her to capture my big day. Looking on her website I loved how she used natural lighting and captured REAL pictures with REAL people showing REAL emotions; none of the overly posed photos you see sometimes. Kelly was able to do our engagement photos as well as our wedding and we had the best time with her! She makes you feel so comfortable and excited! After our engagement session we took the opportunity to get to know her a bit more by having dinner and I can proudly say I have become friends with this amazing lady and cannot wait for many more dinners.
I also decided to surprise my groom with a boudoir album for his wedding gift! Kelly and I were able to schedule a time and place for this shoot to take place. She made me feel so classy and elegant and the pictures came out very tasteful and lovely. Kelly then took a few hours out of one of her night to go through all of the pictures with me to determine my top 15. She then designed an album for me and delivered it to me before the wedding so I could take a look. It turned out beautifully and I am SO happy I decided to do this type of photo shoot and would encourage other brides to do the same.
On my wedding day she came in and was SO excited for me! Her huge hug was so calming and I knew the day would be captured beautifully because of her and the confidence she had. She photographed all the small details and was very patient with all that was going on. What I love about Kelly is that she knows EXACTLY what she is doing and how to get everything done with the amount of time given. She plans things in advance: walks the grounds to pick out good spots, thinks of different shots, etc. and because of that the photos do not take as long as one might think.
Another aspect that I LOVED about her is all of the prep work she does before the wedding. She goes over timelines, family portraits and who will be involved, as well as asks if there are any special requests such as specific shots, specific people we want to have pictures with at the reception, etc. Kelly puts SO much time and effort in to the weddings that she photographs and that can be seen in her work. This effort is not only put in to the photos themselves, but in to getting to know the people she is capturing.
Kelly has a huge heart for people and loves telling stories. I PROMISE that she will tell your story better than you can imagine!
I would (and have) recommend Kelly Lemon as a wonderful photographer. She did our engagement photos and our wedding. She was so great to work with. Wedding photography is not just ...
a job for her. She shows her passion through her work. She showed such a genuine interest in getting to know me and my husband so she could show our love story through our pictures and really allowed our personalities to shine! Not only do we absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding pictures but we have gotten innumerable compliments on them. If you are going to splurge on anything for your wedding, the photographer is the place to do that. The pictures are what last forever and help you to re-live those wonderful memories from your amazing day. Kelly Lemon is the best!
Kelly was absolutle a dream come true!! I worked for a portrait photographer for 7 years, so I am a little pickier than most when it comes to photos. Kelly is incredibly talented...
and was so fun to work with!! We found her pricing fair and inclusive of all the things we needed. From the first time we met for coffee to our engagement photos to our wedding, we have been blown away by her service and product. We chose not to have a videographer at our wedding, which put even more pressure on our photos and they did not disappoint. We LOVE them!! I couldn't have dreamt of a better person to work with and am so happy to now consider Kelly a friend - I know we'll keep in touch for years to come :) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
Kelly Lemon Photography was my favorite vendor to work with. I would recommend this photographer to anyone I know. She cares about what you want from your photographer, does great ...
work, is easy to work with, and is affordable. It feels so natural to shoot with her and she makes it so much fun. My husband does not like taking pictures but Kelly made for such a relaxed, fun environment that he actually had fun too! She is always positive and reassuring even if the weather doesn't cooperate or something doesn't go according to plan, which is very comforting to a bride. I could not be happier with how our pictures turned out. The only criticism I have was that it took more time than I thought to get the engagement and wedding pictures back. However, Kelly recognized that it took her longer to give us the pictures then she initially expected, and ended up giving us extra frames. This shows she is a great business woman and that she actually cares about her clients. Kelly does everything she can to make her clients happy and we are so blessed to have found such an awesome photographer and now friend.

g in the background grabbing the most beautiful moments (that you can’t see because you are in them). The moments captured allow you to remember the feelings that were felt and these feelings, on your wedding day, are the best feelings in the world. They are feelings of marrying the person you feel in love with and have traveled with and grown with. Of unconditional love, support, family, and people coming out of the woodworks - traveling, spending vacation time and money- to show how much they love you. They are the moments of your vows that you spent months writing and of your thoughts before the wedding. They are the interactions during the celebration of you making the biggest decision of your life and the first kiss after that happens.
During the family photos Kelly was efficient, clear, and kind. She had a way of moving people to make the best pictures, without taking away the beauty, freedom and fun of the day. The family portraits were fun to take together and, with two big families on both sides, that is not an easy task. In the couple’s session, she was private. She made sure that the subject and the way of taking the photos changed and reflected the way Tim and I interact. The best thing about Kelly is that she can take the love that you have for each other and make art out of it. And it is a cool art, because it is one you can keep and remember and show your children and look through when you get old. It is so important that you have a photographer who knows what beautiful things are and can capture them….Kelly is someone who can do that. I highly recommend her as a photographer and artist.

ng us to live in the moment of the day. Kelly makes everything feel effortless. Her professionalism was noted by all of our guests, but she still managed to bring out the fun in everyone. I highly recommend Kelly to anyone who is looking for a personal, professional, and joyful experience with their photographer.

t to know you and your family so that she can capture the event in the way you envisioned. She has the eye for the perfect pose, the perfect angle, the perfect lighting. She captures moments in film with more liveliness than how the event itself was remembered by those who participated in it. Kelly is capable of capturing the intimate moments of a wedding as well as the 250 plus crowd shots. She makes everyone feel photogenic and has a way of devoting herself to her client throughout the event such that you feel as if she has documented every experience you have had (even when it all seems like a blur). The quality of her images is unsurpassed -- in fact, many times people comment on the image quality before they comment on the beauty of the subjects photographed! Kelly devotes herself to the family, making sure everyone is included and making sure that the family photo session is fun. I had complete confidence in her and when I saw the final images from my wedding she exceeded my expectations. Finally, Kelly's prices are unbeatable for the value you receive -- the image quality, her dedication to capture all aspects of your event, her unique eye for the best shot and her ability to identify your needs, make her the best photographer you can hire for any special occasion. As a true testament to the person she is and the business she runs, we grew so fond of Kelly in working with her that she will be invited as a guest to our next big event!
