Kelly is amazing, fantastic, wonderful - there aren't enough words to describe how awesome she is! Working with her was so easy, she was friendly and down to earth and easy to talk to and connect with from the very beginning. Her guidance leading up to and on our elopement day was invaluable and, as a result, we have INCREDIBLE photos from the day. We never felt rushed or pressured, and there was always time/chances to redo a shot if need be to make sure we have the perfect coverage of every location or activity. Our families were present for a total of 8 of us, and Kelly felt like one of the family the entire time. She directed all of us and helped us feel comfortable and genuinely authentic the entire day. Even though an elopement is just as exhausting as a traditional wedding, Kelly remained positive and kind throughout the day, checking in with us and making sure we had what we needed. She also has wonderful connections with vendors, such as flowers and hair and makeup, and each person that we worked with through Kelly's recommendation was exceptional. My now husband and I interviewed a lot of people for the elopement photographer role, and Kelly knocked it out of the park on day one. You CANNOT go wrong if you choose to work with her. She's the best.

Kelly in a word is MAGIC. She was a pleasure to work with. Kelly guided us through the shoot and gave us super helpful ideas to get us amazing nature photos. We were super lucky to get a sunset shoot with her for our engagement photos and we are still swooning over them. She is kind, thoughtful and knows how to take a darn good photo! Tuesday, December 28, 2021 9:07 AM I tell you what, Kelly is absolutely amazing at what she does. I had followed her for some time, always admiring her work from afar and truly thinking I could never even have the possibility to work with her due to how much of a pedestal I had her work on! Truly breathtaking. When I got engaged, I had remembered her making a post about elopements on social media -- and I immediately went to check out the details she had wrote, as well as her website for packages. Given the post-COVID and 2020 climate we were in, I knew I wanted to get married ASAP, as well as extremely memorable. I quickly realized that Kelly's amazing talent was within our reach - and quickly booked a consultation. WOW! Her personality and demeanor was so welcoming and inviting. She was open to every idea we had and gave me encouragement through this tough planning season amid COVID. We knew she was our girl! We quickly booked our date and began planning our elopement. She made the MOST FABULOUS elopement guide for us to review and draw ideas from. It was great for so many reasons, especially for letting our imagination take over the process! She also calmed my nerves and gave me encouragement when I would get stressed or overwhelmed with the process (or lack there of). The day came - and we met, and truly, she is the most kind, personable woman! She is AMAZING. We woke up at 2am to start getting ready for our sunrise hike and she was SO excited and happy to be joining. She gave us helpful tips as we prepared to take off, reminded me to eat breakfast and we were on our way! The hike we decided on was no easy feat -- and she rocked it out! 1500 feet incline- in snow, wind and 15-20 degree temperatures - in the dark! We summited our location and she guided us on poses, suggested different ideas and was truly so wonderful to work with. She made it fun, did not complain about the terrible conditions (like I did every 2 minutes) --- and was stoked on the time together the entire day! We continued down the mountain to our ceremony location, and once again, perfection! But, honestly, these words don't even truly do justice to her finished work. Our images were breathtaking! She truly made magic. We were in the middle of a fog storm and she somehow made us look like we were in the perfect place at the perfect moment. Her vision and ability combined saved our elopement! The pictures brought tears to my eyes and I truly have received more compliments on them than anything else in my life. Her work is amazing, but Kelly is truly unparalleled - she is an amazing woman, wonderful friend and the most kind individual. I cannot wait to work with her again and again. You will NOT EVER regret meeting and working with her!

Kelly is without a doubt the most generous, kind hearted, uplifting soul I have ever met, not to mention the most talented photographer. I loved Kelly’s work from the get-go, her style is so beautiful, bright and romantic, but I was determined to scope out every photographer I could find to make sure I made the right decision on who to capture our wedding. I am one of the pickiest people, but I was also a photography major in college, and I know exactly what I want. After countless hours of research, I landed back on Kelly - and thank god I did! Why? For so many reasons I won’t be able to fit onto this page. I met with Kelly for the first time at a wine bar, where we sat and talked for hours not only about photography but about life. She’s truly curious, interested and invested in everyone around her. She wants to get to know YOU so she understands how to truly capture your photos in the way that suits you best. She wants to understand your vision and execute it, and she does, flawlessly. When it comes to Kelly’s photography skills, (and I say this knowing what I know about photography myself) there is no one like her. Her photos are elegant and timeless, her colors and edits are true to tone, and crisp yet soft and romantic. How can someone make photos look like this? She is so incredibly talented. She has a raw talent that not many have, paired with her ability to get to know everyone around her, she’s honestly the perfect person to photograph your wedding (or anything you ask her to do). Now let’s talk Covid real quickly. Our wedding was cancelled due to COVID, and Kelly was by far the most helpful vendor I worked with. She not only had multiple zoom wine nights with me (her idea!) as I grieved my lost wedding celebrations, but she was actually the person who came up with a plan for our wedding that didn’t feel like a plan B, but instead felt just as exciting as the original wedding we had planned. We texted back and forth consistently to create a new plan and Kelly’s priority had always been for us to be excited for whatever celebration we could have. I couldn’t believe that after having to cancel our entire wedding, Kelly inspired me and actually helped me to feel excited about something other than our original wedding plans! She not only worked with us on timing, coordination, finances, and organization, throughout all the chaos, but she was the most patient person along the way. She answered my abundant emails and questions so quickly I couldn’t believe it! Kelly also continuously calmed my nerves, made me feel comfortable, helped me to laugh, and also helped remind me to slow down and breathe. Can I talk to Kelly every day of my life? Kelly and all that she brings to the table is exactly what you need beside you during not just your wedding day, but any stressful time you may encounter. My wedding day was not perfect, though magical, it was stressful, and I consistently looked to Kelly for reassurance and positivity, which she always gave with such ease. The weather drastically changed last minute at our wedding and the view was completely covered with fog. Kelly knew I was so upset that she stayed a day extra at our destination wedding to give us extra highlight edits so that I could see how beautiful our wedding photos turned out. Kelly is a gem. Do not hesitate to hire her. I promise you will not be disappointed! She’s beyond talented and was simply the best decision I made.

We could not recommend Kelly enough! First off, Kelly has been the photographer for both of my sisters weddings and has become a family friend of ours. So actually even before I ever got engaged I already knew that I wanted Kelly to capture my wedding. Kelly has such a way of making photo sessions so special. Our engagement shoot was supposed to be in May 2020 in Mexico, however we had to cancel due to Covid. Though we were pretty bummed out that the engagement shoot was canceled for the forseeable future, Kelly provided hope for us and let us know that she would be there for us throughout it all. As Summer went by I started to get a little antsy and realize that we might not be able to jump on a plane to go do our beachy themed engagement shoot as we imagined. So I called Kelly and asked her what she thought about going to the Oregon coast as we live in Seattle, WA. She loved the idea and it was completely on board with it! We ended up booking a date for the two weeks later and just got back from our shoot and let me tell you about the shoot.. I’ve seen a lot of engagement photos & wedding photos and a lot of them tend to look a little bit staged with the same generic poses. But Kelly captured us being us and captured our love so naturally. It didn’t feel like we were behind a camera the entire time and she made it so personal that it really sparked so much more love than I would’ve imagined during a photoshoot. I don’t want to give too much away, but she really puts in a lot of time to make the photo shoots feel beyond special. Kelly invests in the relationships with her clients. Because she has become a friend of ours over the years, Kelly knows a lot about us! When I recommended doing a wine cheers scene on the beach because that just seemed easiest, she asked me what I thought about a cocktail scene as she knew that whether we are at the beach on vacation or at our home, we love to enjoy a good cocktail! I loved this idea as it was SO much more “us.” Also not to mention, the night before the shoot, at sunset we grabbed a pizza with her and her sweet family, laid out some blankets on the beach and chatted the night away! Kelly was so helpful the day of the shoot. Having never done this before, I didn’t really have exact places where we wanted to do the shoot identified. Kelly helped us scope out multiple spots before our engagement shoot to ensure that they were the right locations that we would be happy with. She played music created all the good vibes and really helped us see our love story come to life. I honestly just felt like we were on a really fun romantic date and Kelly was capturing it. We are so thankful that Kelly is our photographer, I knew this before the engagement shoot, but I cannot be more excited for our wedding day for when she does capture those magical moments! I am so beyond excited to get our photos back! I’m not lying, every time she showed me the photos on her camera I would genuinely shriek with joy, as I was so ecstatic about the way they were turning out. Not only was the experience amazing but she is one heck of a photographer and she really knows how to capture an amazing photo. I’ve had my photos taken before, but the detail that she goes into to set up the perfect scene- I’ve never experienced before. I would highly recommend Kelly for anyone who values being able to be their true authentic self during their photo shoots and feeling 100% comfortable the entire time. Kelly is amazing!

We chose Kelly to be our wedding photographer because of her high quality photos that didn’t seem too posed or forced. What we got was more than we could have ever dreamed of! We originally planned to have a big wedding, but due to COVID, we had to change plans twice and pivoted to a hiking elopement adventure. Kelly was a huge supporter of this and even helped us plan many of the details of the day. She went out of her way to ensure our day would be so special and magical! Our wedding day was pure magic and Kelly captured it all so beautifully. SERIOUSLY, I have had multiple people tell me that our wedding photos are the most amazing they have ever seen! (And I agree). Kelly truly pours her heart into her work and we feel like she really captured our love story perfectly.

Kelly is more than a photographer. She's a calming voice to relax you on the big day, she's a bank of knowledge to prepare you for what's to come, and she's a shoulder to cry on if things get emotional. Kelly has a gift with her photo taking - the ability to capture raw emotions and the setting in the most beautiful way. I would recommend Kelly if you want to capture the magic of your big day and have fun doing it!

My husband likes to joke that for me, my choice of wedding photographer was more important than even my choice of husband (and he’s not entirely wrong.. 😉 ), so for me, I had to book Kelly Lemon. She invests so much time and energy into her clients and even tries to continue that relationship after the event. Plus, the photos she takes are the most amazing. Kelly is amazing at making you feel comfortable and getting some real genuine candid-looking photos. I truly, truly cannot say enough about Kelly.

Love LOVED having Kelly as our photographer! Honestly, the best (and favorite) choice we made in planning our wedding. We had an engagement, wedding, and "day after" shoot with Kelly. Her photos speak for themselves - they are beautiful, artistic, and natural. Kelly gives great direction for everyone - bride, groom (family photos!) so you don't need any "experience" in front of a camera to look like a model! As much as I loved our shoots, I was totally surprised to see I actually loved the CANDIDS from the ceremony and reception! She captures the little moments between ourselves, our guests, and family. Kelly is thoughtful, kind, positive, and you feel like you have a relaxed, not-stressed, super smart/encouraging friend with you through it all.

I am so thrilled that we used Kelly to photograph our wedding this May! She went above and beyond for us to make sure we got the shots we wanted and did an amazing job capturing every moment throughout the evening. I honestly don't know where to begin to review the amazing Kelly! She was a complete joy from the moment we met at our consultation. Throughout the entire planning process she was extremely helpful and professional. The kids were super impressed with her during the engagement photos and the photos were beautiful. Then on the wedding day she just blew us away with her professionalism, skill, but mostly the care she took with my daughter, her new husband and the rest of our family. She made sure everyone was comfortable and happy all day. What a sweet, giving person she is. The way she directs people for the perfect shot is truly amazing. Then at the end of the night she surprised us all with a sneak peak on her laptop. We were so excited to see some of the photos right then and there. By the end of the evening she was like part of our family. So much so that we've booked her for my other daughter's wedding next year!

It’s impossible to truly summarize the experience we had with Kelly for our engagement shoot. From the first minute we met her in person we could see the passion she has for photography. Kelly is so much more than a photographer. She wants to learn about your story and get to know you and uses that background as another lens so to speak to convey who her clients are through her photos. She was very personable and willing to share about herself and when you hear her story you’ll understand just how passionate she is about photography. It's hard to put into words just how much we adore Kelly! This sweet girl braved a very cold and rainy PNW day to capture our engagement photos before heading with us to sunny Maui to capture our Happily Ever After. She is incredibly sweet, professional and a pleasure to work with. We loved just chatting with her about life, faith and everything in between. Kelly took incredibly good care of me the day of our wedding even making sure I was eating and drinking enough! She spent so much time making sure we had all the pictures that we wanted, and then some. She climbed wet rocks, windy cliffsides and so much more for the perfect shot. We had a wonderful experience working with her and will definitely work with her again if the opportunity should arise!

Kelly is absolutely amazing! She is with you every step of the way during the wedding planning process to make sure the pictures on your wedding day are exactly what you want. She is so calm and understanding during last minute changes, not to mention one of the sweetest people I have ever met. She goes above and beyond in every way, such as staying for 2 hours longer than planned to edit photos in the back room to have a small highlight album ready for us when we woke up the day after the wedding! Kelly Lemon is like no other. She has been so incredibly supportive, loving, and wonderful throughout our wedding day as well as the days before. Not only is she incredibly strong, overcoming various odds throughout her life, she is a phenomenal photographer. The moments she captures are so genuine and beautiful. I have no higher praise for Kelly other than to say to hire her for your wedding!! She was SO sweet, and really took extra time to get to know us and make the whole experience really personal. The day of the wedding we had so many family and friends to wrangle for pictures and Kelly was able to handle everything without a hitch. Someone described her as a "velvet hammer" -- she was kind and sweet, but at the same time, got everything that needed to be done in the time allotted. She went the extra mile to make sure she had all the shots she needed and the ones I have seen so far are incredible. She has a distinct style different from most other photographers and her photos are incredible. In short, do yourself a favor and hire Kelly!!

Kelly is absolutely brilliant. I can’t say enough about her artistry and professionalism. My husband and I spent a lot of time with her through our engagement photos, our extra photo session, as well as our wedding day. When looking for a wedding photographer, one of the most important attributes for us is to find someone who could direct us well and (I won’t lie) make us look good. We’re both camera shy and wouldn’t know how to pose for pictures at all. We needed someone who could make us feel comfortable and position us well so we could have memories that would last a lifetime. Kelly did that and so much more. If she felt we were stiff or awkward she would make us laugh and dance it out. She hung out with us to figure out our quirks and personalities and became more of a friend than just a photographer. She also took the time to scout out our locations beforehand, so she already knew the best spots to take our pictures. I also made a request for a huge group picture after the ceremony that included all our guests and Kelly figured out how to mobilize close to 250 people quickly and made it look awesome! We were so impressed. Throughout the whole process she helped us have fun with each other and the results were amazing! I loved every picture she selected for us and am in awe of the quality of pictures we received. She is a truly beautiful person and it shows through her artwork. My husband and I are so blessed to have had her as our wedding photographer, I’d want to do it all over again! p.s. If you have the option to take boudoir pictures with Kelly… DO IT! I was a bit nervous going into it, but Kelly makes you feel so comfortable and even turned me into a model! Let’s just say my husband is very happy. :)

We heart Kelly! She was such a joy to work with. Kelly has a presence about her that puts you at ease. She takes the time to get to know you as a person and as a couple. When our wedding day rolled around, it felt like a long lost friend was taking our photos. The candid shots are my favorite! I cannot express how happy I am that we found Kelly! She is professional, organized, extremely talented, and on top of it all - such a warm, thoughtful, genuine person whose love for what she does truly shines through every photograph. From the day that we met Kelly she treated us like friends, not clients. Throughout the planning process leading up to the wedding day, Kelly met with us for dinners, puppy dates, a day trip with her hubby to wine taste/hike (for our engagement sesh!). We felt that we were really able to connect with her and know who Kelly was. So come the wedding day. She wasn't just a "vendor" standing in the corner taking pictures of us, it was like a friend (a really professional talented friend) hanging out and interacting with us, our friends and family taking our pictures. And because of this she not only was able to take pictures that captured all the little details that we poured our hearts into, but she caught the sentiments of our guests, the laughter that my husband and I share, and truly illustrated the loving and fun environment that was shared during our wedding. I look through our pictures and the feeling of the day is just so present in all the images. I cannot gush enough about her talent, but she also was extremely helpful with making sure the day of details ran smoothly. She communicated well not only with us, but the rest of our vendors (videographers, day of coordinator DJ etc), she was able to direct/corral our family and friends with respect, and she would always check on me to make sure that I was truly soaking in everything of the wonderful day. Kelly is amazing and made our wedding day so wonderfully memorable.

I seriously can't say enough good things about Kelly. My fiancé and I looked for a photographer for a very long time and we ended up picking Kelly, even though she lives in Seattle and we live in Denver, because no one compares! She did our engagement pictures about a month ago and they are absolutely incredible. We found a new friend the first time we met her and she was able to capture our personality in every single picture. We were a little nervous prior to the photo shoot but as soon as we started she made us feel so comfortable and we had such a good time. We asked Kelly if our dogs could be included in our engagement pictures and she loved that idea and was really great with them! They loved her and she was able to get great photos even though they weren’t exactly behaving! We feel really lucky to have found Kelly and we are SO excited for her to photograph our wedding next fall.

If you want photographs that capture the time, the memories, the emotions, then you MUST have Kelly Lemon Photography be a part of your big day! I do not even know where to begin when it comes to Kelly Lemon Photography and the amazing woman behind the camera. From the moment Kelly and I first interacted I knew without a doubt that I wanted her to capture my big day. Looking on her website I loved how she used natural lighting and captured REAL pictures with REAL people showing REAL emotions; none of the overly posed photos you see sometimes. Kelly was able to do our engagement photos as well as our wedding and we had the best time with her! She makes you feel so comfortable and excited! After our engagement session we took the opportunity to get to know her a bit more by having dinner and I can proudly say I have become friends with this amazing lady and cannot wait for many more dinners. I also decided to surprise my groom with a boudoir album for his wedding gift! Kelly and I were able to schedule a time and place for this shoot to take place. She made me feel so classy and elegant and the pictures came out very tasteful and lovely. Kelly then took a few hours out of one of her night to go through all of the pictures with me to determine my top 15. She then designed an album for me and delivered it to me before the wedding so I could take a look. It turned out beautifully and I am SO happy I decided to do this type of photo shoot and would encourage other brides to do the same. On my wedding day she came in and was SO excited for me! Her huge hug was so calming and I knew the day would be captured beautifully because of her and the confidence she had. She photographed all the small details and was very patient with all that was going on. What I love about Kelly is that she knows EXACTLY what she is doing and how to get everything done with the amount of time given. She plans things in advance: walks the grounds to pick out good spots, thinks of different shots, etc. and because of that the photos do not take as long as one might think. Another aspect that I LOVED about her is all of the prep work she does before the wedding. She goes over timelines, family portraits and who will be involved, as well as asks if there are any special requests such as specific shots, specific people we want to have pictures with at the reception, etc. Kelly puts SO much time and effort in to the weddings that she photographs and that can be seen in her work. This effort is not only put in to the photos themselves, but in to getting to know the people she is capturing. Kelly has a huge heart for people and loves telling stories. I PROMISE that she will tell your story better than you can imagine!

I would (and have) recommend Kelly Lemon as a wonderful photographer. She did our engagement photos and our wedding. She was so great to work with. Wedding photography is not just a job for her. She shows her passion through her work. She showed such a genuine interest in getting to know me and my husband so she could show our love story through our pictures and really allowed our personalities to shine! Not only do we absolutely LOVE our engagement and wedding pictures but we have gotten innumerable compliments on them. Kelly was absolutle a dream come true!! I worked for a portrait photographer for 7 years, so I am a little pickier than most when it comes to photos. Kelly is incredibly talented and was so fun to work with!! We found her pricing fair and inclusive of all the things we needed. From the first time we met for coffee to our engagement photos to our wedding, we have been blown away by her service and product. We chose not to have a videographer at our wedding, which put even more pressure on our photos and they did not disappoint. We LOVE them!! I couldn't have dreamt of a better person to work with and am so happy to now consider Kelly a friend - I know we'll keep in touch for years to come :) Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Kelly Lemon Photography was my favorite vendor to work with. I would recommend this photographer to anyone I know. She cares about what you want from your photographer, does great work, is easy to work with, and is affordable. It feels so natural to shoot with her and she makes it so much fun. My husband does not like taking pictures but Kelly made for such a relaxed,fun environment that he actually had fun too! She is always positive and reassuring even if the weather doesn't cooperate or something doesn't go according to plan, which is very comforting to a bride. I could not be happier with how our pictures turned out. The only criticism I have was that it took more time than I thought to get the engagement and wedding pictures back. However, Kelly recognized that it took her longer to give us the pictures then she initially expected, and ended up giving us extra frames. This shows she is a great business woman and that she actually cares about her clients. Kelly does everything she can to make her clients happy and we are so blessed to have found such an awesome photographer and now friend.

It is difficult to describe the value of a good photographer until you have one. This is because she is the person who is always there, but never noticed- the person that is sitting in the background grabbing the most beautiful moments (that you can’t see because you are in them). The moments captured allow you to remember the feelings that were felt and these feelings, on your wedding day, are the best feelings in the world. They are feelings of marrying the person you feel in love with and have traveled with and grown with. Of unconditional love, support, family, and people coming out of the woodworks - traveling, spending vacation time and money- to show how much they love you. They are the moments of your vows that you spent months writing and of your thoughts before the wedding. They are the interactions during the celebration of you making the biggest decision of your life and the first kiss after that happens. During the family photos Kelly was efficient, clear, and kind. She had a way of moving people to make the best pictures, without taking away the beauty, freedom and fun of the day. The family portraits were fun to take together and, with two big families on both sides, that is not an easy task. In the couple’s session, she was private. She made sure that the subject and the way of taking the photos changed and reflected the way Tim and I interact. The best thing about Kelly is that she can take the love that you have for each other and make art out of it. And it is a cool art, because it is one you can keep and remember and show your children and look through when you get old.
