Part of the package we chose included an engagement photo shoot, which was a great way for us to get to know Kelly and feel less awkward in front of the camera (this was our first time getting professional photos together!). Kelly helped us draft the timeline for our wedding day. We had a big backyard wedding and we could be flexible about timing, so it was VERY helpful to have someone from the wedding industry give us some guidance on the schedule of events. Kelly captured our day perfectly, with vibrance and color and joy. We clearly communicated about what was important to us, and every shot that we wanted made the list and we have those memories to cherish forever. We are so glad we chose to work with Kelly and would recommend her to anyone!!!

t be happier. From the very start, Kelly was so sweet, kind, and easy to work with. During our engagement session, she didn’t hesitate to run around like crazy with us, chasing the perfect light and best background. On our (very, very cold) wedding day, she and her second shooter, Tayla, braved the negative wind chill without missing a beat...and laughed with us all afternoon over it. Kelly was also amazing with our two big dogs, Faith and Jasper! She was so patient and sweet with them, making sure they were part of our special moments—and those photos are some of our absolute favorites. of keeping the natural look but making the photos pop! (Our wedding was outdoors in the fall in NE.) Leading up to the wedding, Kelly was extremely prepared and worked with what would best fit our budget and vision. Throughout our wedding day she made sure we were comfortable, helped recommend the best shots and accommodated some large group shots as well (that came out lovely!). Any location/pose/group we wanted, she made it happen! Even when poses felt strange, the outcomes were amazing. Kelly really knows what she's doing! She was amazing to work with and also is great with animals and kids. Getting photos with our dogs and nephews/nieces was extremely important to us. She not only captured amazing shots of us and our puppy (and parents dog) along with the kids, she was able to get their attention and seriously some of the best photos that will hang in my house for a lifetime to come. Last minute I decided to add on an album, and even at 9 months pregnant she accommodated my post wedding request. (Yes, she was ~7 mos pregnant at our wedding and didn't skip a beat!) ll the difference. Kelly was organized, thoughtful, and truly made you feel comfortable throughout the entire experience. She sent professional guides and look books leading up to the wedding day which was so nice to feel like you were on her mind with how busy she is! She is one of those people that you are just so excited to see on your day because she is so wonderful! s that once I inquired via Kelly's website, I heard back from her within about an hour! Her responses were always very prompt, and after our first phone call I knew Kelly was the perfect photographer for us. Kelly is extremely professional and is always willing to answer any questions you may have, even if they are completely random! My husband and I decided pretty last minute that we wanted to do a photo blitz at our wedding and Kelly didn't even bat an eye at the request. She executed all of our requests perfectly, and the photos came out better than we could have imagined!  In one of our first calls with Kelly we discussed the pros and cons of having a second photographer for our day. Kelly made us feel completely at ease with our decision to only have one photographer and boy, did she go above and beyond my expectations! For one person, I am absolutely amazed at how many moments Kelly captured from our wedding and how many beautiful photos we received in our album!  Kelly's photos are beautiful, colorful, romantic, and so much more. You will not be disappointed in choosing Kelly for your photographer! To say I am obsessed with Kelly's photos would be an understatement!!  I am SO thankful for her, and already looking for excuses to have her take more photos of my new little family!

remely sweet, helpful, flexible, and supportive! My wedding ended up being a VERY hot day, and we ended up changing plans and taking a good amount of photos with our grandparents and parents inside for safety reasons. Kelly didn’t miss a beat and adjusted our entire schedule as needed. Several people pointed out how Kelly single handedly (and while pregnant may I add!!!) ran the show! I asked Kelly when she left my getting ready spot if she could tell my groom & groomsmen to put on their boutonnières for pictures because I was worried they’d forget - sure enough, my husband told me the next day if it weren’t for Kelly, he never would’ve remembered! Lastly, when I was cutting the cake I was unsure of what to do (pick it up, use a fork, etc) I looked right up at Kelly sort of panicking as everyone was watching us and she immediately came over and quickly made suggestions without hesitation! You genuinely feel like you have an extra supportive friend along for the ride the whole way if you hire Kelly! I keep having guests tell me how incredibly kind and talented she was! Above anything else, and perhaps most important to me on my day, she was flexible and kind. She made me and my husband feel comfortable in front of the many cameras and eyes that were watching us all night (which, to be blunt, isn't our favorite). She was unbelievably flexible and patient with other family members who asked for additional pictures but always checked in with you. Her communication is another highlight of her professionalism. What impressed me the most about Kelly is how much she knew my wedding party! I married into a family with 5 sisters and 1 brother. Both of us had HUGE wedding parties and Kelly did her homework! She knew the names of my family members and friends which made it even more special. Her assistant Haley was also an MVP. She got stuck with the boys before the wedding. I asked my husband how she was and I swear to you this was his response "She was the best! Took some awesome pictures then just chilled with us and listened to DMX." My husband and I are not very serious people. We love to joke and have fun. She and her assistant were able to joke along with us the entire day which made us feel so comfortable. I could go on and on. Hire her.

I planned everything from FL so to have Kelly working with me and helping me through this process was so reassuring! s our wedding photographer and it just keeps getting better! Our engagement photos that were part of our wedding package turned out amazing. I really thought they would be hard to beat, but our wedding photos turned out better than I could have ever imagined. Everyone who has seen them says they are magazine quality! Now having worked with Kelly twice, I can honestly say that it has been such a great experience! We truly appreciated Kelly’s interest in us and our love story, which made it so easy to open up in front of her and the camera. She was always corresponding with us to make sure she understood our wants and needs. When COVID hit, she was one of the first vendors to reach out and talk things through with us. She is a very thoughtful person and it shows in the details that she captures through her photography. I described my vision to her and she made it come to life. As the wedding approached, Kelly continued to be incredibly responsive and flexible as we navigated all kinds of COVID changes. We met to discuss the details of our big day and Kelly put together an incredibly organized schedule that made us feel confident she knew exactly what we wanted to be captured. She showed up the morning of our wedding and was incredibly resourceful - she got right to work capturing all the little details we never would have thought of... we barely even knew she was there most of the time but she still managed to keep the whole day on schedule and captured all the special moments. We could not recommend her more!

n August 2020. The engagement session in her studio was so fun and the photos came out beautifully. The wedding was even better. Kelly was extremely flexible with COVID restrictions and very easy to get in touch with as everything was changing. The actual day she made everyone feel so comfortable and captured our special moments perfectly. She is super creative and all the photos where she said 'lets try this' are some of my favorites!!

They even went above and beyond when we wanted to do pictures offsite from the wedding and even took an hour drive out of their way to take pictures of us with my wife’s father who was in the hospital. We can not thank them enough. We used Kelly and Ben for our engagement photos as well and they were absolutely stunning. We get compliments from both the engagement and wedding photos all the time. We have recommended Kelly for numerous other weddings and will continue to do so! Highly recommend using Kelly and Ben for ALL your photography needs.

rocess much easier for me! She was always so quick to respond to emails and I could tell even before meeting her how nice and friendly she was. We first met her at our engagement session. We really wanted to get a “Portland” feel with our photos, and she knew just how to capture that for us. Her husband was there, too, and they both made us feel so comfortable and relaxed that it was such a fun experience, and we absolutely loved the pictures! Kelly was very helpful leading up to the wedding, answering my millions of questions and creating the timeline for our wedding day. I couldn’t imagine the family formal pictures going more seamlessly. Kelly was so efficient and made what I thought could be a stressful part of the day super easy and fun! We ended up with extra time for pictures, and she suggested some cool spots/poses for us that we loved. She really has an eye for pictures and I feel like we have so many great shots that are different from a lot of wedding pictures I’ve seen. We received a handful of previews the next day and then ended up with over 1,000 photos less than a month later, and we love them so much! We have received so many compliments about our pictures and we will absolutely cherish them forever!

Kelly made the wedding day super easy- I was a little stressed with bridal party pictures but Kelly eased my mind and made sure we got all the shots quickly. During the ceremony and reception I honestly didn’t even know Kelly and Ben were there. The sneak peak shots We received the next morning were unbelievable. We can’t wait for the rest of them! **Kelly really has an eye for some amazing shots. If you are willing to be adventurous, you won’t be disappointed. We did our engagement session next to a lake and Kelly had us get in the water up to our knees. Those pictures are my favorite!

ning as to why I am giving her 1 star instead of 5 is because of the following reasons. 1. Poor communication -- despite emailing her regarding proofs/our gallery it took her the latter half of 72 hours to respond to a customer concern and/or inquiry. Better business practices state, especially in the service industry, timely responses to customers is everything. 2. Poor customer service -- We received O-N-E preview or proof/preview within 51 days. Proofs are normally provided to customers as a glimpse into their photos while the full gallery is being edited. Her excuse for only providing one image was that she had up to 10-12 weeks to provide a gallery. All that we were asking for were a few to a handful of proofs to provide to our families. 3. Inability to properly manage time, meaning she informed us that our "gallery" would be available around a certain time frame; however it was not available. 4. Price -- For those three huge reasons above Kelly's prices are not worth it in the long run considering it takes her 10-12 weeks to edit. Take it from someone who has a family member that is certified in professional photography nationally, it is worth paying more knowing that your gallery would be provided in a timely manner.

ve to all of my questions and was very flexible when we realized we would need her for an extra hour on our Wedding Day just 4 days before the Big Day. It is obvious that Kelly is very knowledgeable and dedicated to her photography and making sure her clients are happy and satisfied! Also, I would recommend having 2 photographers on your wedding day because her Dad was also a complete joy to work with. We didn't have much knowledge on what our vision was for pictures and Kelly and her Father were able to guide us with their expert opinions to give us some of our best memories! In addition to our Wedding photos, Kelly took our engagement photos in Portland, ME and I wasn't sure of the best location to use as our backdrop and Kelly had many suggestions that made our engagement pictures just perfect. If you want a down-to-Earth, flexible, and expert photographer for your Wedding, you have to hire Kelly!
