we eloped with less than 20 people on September 7th,2024)… she was the sweetest person ever, she offered to take pictures of us and that it will be her treat, she stayed until the end. She sent the pictures within a week after our wedding, even before our photographer, so we were amazed and so happy. The deal was that she would send us the teaser within a month, she took 2 months but it was ok, we were still happy with her and decided to be understanding, the 1min teaser had good images but not really what we were expecting but after we expressed our ideas for the final video, she said she will work around with our preferences… The deadline to send us the final video was over, we talk to her a couple of times after that and on the last call, she just mentioned that the language barrier was the real issue of why she was running behind on the date.. She knew all the time that we would be having an Spanish wedding, so I asked her why she didn’t refuse her services from the beginning then?.. but it was ok, I even offered myself to help her with the translation but she said she already hired someone that was charging her a lot for that but that she was almost done with it, her last response was on November last year, I tried calling her again and sent her text messages telling her that if she will not be able to finish her job that she could just to send me the raw videos that I could pay someone else or I could edit them myself but not response. I was not planning on leaving any reviews but I think I could advise future customers about what she did to us. That day, neither us or our guests took videos or photos at the party reception because as we would have our wedding covered by a “professional”, we focused on enjoying every moment… we do not have a video of our last dance together or our exit… I only have a phone video from our ceremony just because I wanted my little sister which is in Peru, to watch our vows after that… all our memories will be in our hearts because this lady failed us and did not finish her job, we paid the fee she asked for on the date we were supposed to and we even tip her on our wedding date another $200 because we wanted to award her for being such a nice person… I trusted her services because I found her in this website, her job in social medial seemed to be professional and we liked it… I just wish she would have approached back to us sincerely with the final video and with an apology we could have understand and forgive her, because we don’t think we deserve this, we never mistreated her, talked her bad or insulted her, no matter how far behind she was, we just wanted our video… this is definitely a lesson of not trusting anyone, I thought because she is a mother, she will do better, just the right thing but I guess she forgot that karma exists and her kids could find another “Kelly” in their lives who will steal from them and hurt them as she did to us. At this point we don’t care about the money we paid her, we just want our video because we can not get back to that date, we can not re-do our wedding… there is nothing that will calm us more than being able to live again our big day through a video and that was the main reason of why we chose to hire a videographer… be careful if you are thinking of hiring her!
