Kelly Pifer Photography is, in a word, magical. My fiancé (now husband) and I are very introverted, non-attention seeking people. The idea of engagement shots and wedding pictures kind of overwhelmed us. But Kelly helped us feel relaxed and comfortable—like we were hanging out with a good friend! We are in love with every shot. Our laughs were honest and some thing we dreaded ended up being one of our favorite experiences! Kelly is not only a skilled professional, but a genuine human who simply radiates light and is impossible to not adore.

There really are not enough words to express how wonderful Kelly is. Next to marrying my husband, hiring Kelly to be our photographer was the best decision we made while wedding planning. Planning a wedding is stressful enough but adding COVID on top made it even more stressful. Other photographers we met with were very intimidating. From the first moment we met Kelly, we felt at ease and that she really cared for us and our day as if we were her family. She was so down to earth and easy going. Kelly was responsive to every question or concern we had, was super flexible with any changes we made and really made the whole process stress free for Bryan and I. Kelly works quick and effectively, making sure pictures are returned in a timely manner! We received our wedding pictures on the last day of our honeymoon and it was so fun to end it trip looking at the best day of our lives! We had not one but two engagement sessions with Kelly and the pictures were beyond perfect. Kelly captured two people who hate having their pictures taken and made magic happen. She made sure we were comfortable and kept us laughing the whole time. Fast forward to our wedding day, Kelly was the reason our day was stress free and wonderful. She captured our day perfectly and I cry every time I look at our pictures. No detail was missed- big or small. Kelly perfectly captured our love, friends, family and everything in between. Although it was bitter sweet at the end of the reception saying goodbye to Kelly, Bryan and I know she will be our family photographer for years to come. We couldn’t trust anymore more to be there for the special moments more than we trust Kelly. She truly is the best.

Kelly was amazing! She was well prepared working with my beautiful bride and I on what photos had to be taken on our perfect day. She easily captured the family member/bridal party pictures. Our bride and groom photos show our personalities and love we have for each other and I will always be thankful that Kelly captured those moments for us to look back on. 1,000/10 would recommend Kelly again and again.

I cannot say enough great things about Kelly! She is incredibly talented photographer, as demonstrated by her photographs, which is why we selected her as our wedding photographer. Little did I know she is also a great person. She made our wedding perfect, ensuring everything I wanted captured was obtainable. With our wedding scheduled in the middle of COVID, Kelly was super flexible and understanding during our several backup plans. We are thrilled with our engagement and wedding photos and will forever cherish them. Pictures came out perfect for my sisters wedding!

If I had to get married during a pandemic again, Kelly would be the first person I'd call. We planned our entire wedding and had nearly every detail finalized. Fast forward to the month before our April 24, 2020 wedding-- our venue closed due to the pandemic and gave us the option to reschedule. Many people told us to wait until next year so we could have our "dream wedding". Having been together for nearly 10 years, we decided not to wait and had a small intimate wedding on June 26 with our closest family by our sides. It was our dream wedding. Kelly was there for us through the entire process-- the back and forth of being devastated and then optimistic about our new plans, the ideas we threw around about having a second reception next year once all this passes. Kelly was accommodating and kind through it all, offering her suggestions, her sense of humor to ease my stress, and she made herself completely available for any challenge we faced. I will be cherishing my photos from Kelly for the rest of my life. She captured every emotion, every special moment, and she even managed to mask the fact that it was 90 degrees and humid on our wedding day. I was worried everyone would be tense and sad about the overall state of the world lately, but somehow we were all able to forget about it all for the night and celebrate our families joining together. Kelly captured those feelings in every photo. She is insanely talented at what she does and genuinely cares about her clients. Kelly even offered to shoot a second event for us if we decided to have a large reception, since we had originally paid for a larger wedding and longer time frame of service. We weren't planning on having the reception, but came up with the idea to have her come by our home to take photos of us and our flowers on our new flower farm we started this year in our backyard. She is thoughtful and kind, and her skills are unmatched. I highly recommend Kelly for all your photography needs!!

Kelly is a fantastic photographer and human being, and I highly recommend her! Not only does Kelly go above and beyond in capturing every possible photograph beautifully throughout your wedding day, but she also always comes prepared to help in all the ways that have nothing to do with photography: she has safety pins, tape, and so much else in her emergency kit! Kelly is easy and fun to work with, and she makes everyone feel so at ease in front of the camera. She also is incredibly responsive, quick to get images to you, and her work is beautiful!

Kelly has been absolutely wonderful throughout our entire wedding process. Our engagement session was perfect and the photos were better than we could have ever expected. We got married on Saturday, March 14th, which was in the midst of COVID-19 closings. We had to find a new photography spot the night before the wedding, as our original plan fell through last minute. Kelly (and her assistant) rolled with the punches, walked in to a totally new location that she had not planned for, and made it work better than we could have imagined. Without her calm, cool, collected presence that day, we certainly would not have had such a great wedding.

Kelly is an amazing photographer and person and I couldn't recommend her more! With wedding shoots she offers a free engagement session which was only the first thing about her that blew us away. When we got those pictures back we were stunned by the beauty and love she could capture. She was consistently in contact with us and very punctual. On our wedding day she came half an hour early to make sure everything was set and she stayed later than our agreed on time because we were running late and wanted to get pictures of the father-daughter/mother-son dance. During the wedding she even worked as almost a coordinator, helping the whole day move along smoothly and stress free. The pictures we got back from our wedding will be cherished forever as well as our relationship with Kelly. She's fantastic!

Kelly was wonderful to work with for both our engagement shoot and wedding! She's so great about making you feel comfortable in front of the camera, which was really important for me because I'm not the biggest fan of taking pictures. But Kelly is so warm and fun and lovely to be around, she actually managed to make the experience a good one. Plus, the wedding pictures came out great! Not only do we have great shots of us, but the candid moments Kelly captured with us and our family and friends are really beautiful. I highly recommend her!

My husband and I used Kelly for both our engagement and wedding pictures. We’ve never done professional photos so we were extremely nervous but Kelly made the experience enjoyable and easy going. Kelly was extremely easy to work with and we will definitely use her again for any future photos needed.

We loved Kelly! She included an engagement session, so we got to know her and she got to know us, which was really nice. Her turnaround time is fantastic (since you WILL be impatient for the pictures) and her work is soooo pretty! If you like bright, colorful pictures, then she is the gal for you! She is awesome to work with and really knows how to make you feel comfortable in front of the camera. We can't recommend her enough!

I don't even know where to begin with Kelly! We had the struggle of planning a wedding from a state away! With busy schedules Kelly made planning and working with her literally effortless!! Right away after talking with her on the phone I knew it was a match! She was so caring and real! I felt like I had known her for years! We had an engagement session with our package and we were unable to find a weekend for this due to living out of state. Kelly let us instead do a session during our rehearsal dinner! The photos were amazing of us and our family, as well as let us practice working together before the big day :) Our photos were so beautiful! The night we got them we went through them together and love reliving the big day again! We were totally blown away and so we're our families with the gorgeous photos. The way she captured our special day was just as we had hoped and dreamed. She captured all the best parts that really mattered to us! When picking a photographer it is so important to find someone with a clear focus on the timeline and common goals as you. It is very easy to become overwhelmed and lose track of time. Kelly was perfect, she took charge and kept everything moving :) at no time throughout the evening did I have to worry about it! I would recommend Kelly for anything to anyone! We can't wait to have her continue to capture our life events in the future ❤️

Kelly was fantastic to work with. She is super responsive, funny, sweet, and really great at what she does. She made us super comfortable and took so many great engagement pictures of us it was really hard to pick favorites! On our wedding day, she made sure we got the shots we really wanted and even helped bustle my complicated dress. I would book her a million times over.

Kelly is funny, nice, professional, and does incredible work for much less than other photographers we looked at. She is flexible with her schedule and works to ensure an enjoyable experience.

Kelly, or shall I say superwoman, is one of the best investments we made in our small-budget wedding. We probably spent about 5 to 5.5k on the entire wedding, and we gladly put about 20 percent of that on photography with Kelly. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she's also extremely professional, helpful, easy to work with, and flexible as hell. I contacted Kelly about 6ish months prior to our wedding and she had plenty of availability for us still. Not only that, she was willing to be super flexible with how long we needed her for and what we wanted a shot. Our wedding quickly went from a 20 to 30-person intimate ceremony and lunch/dinner to an 80-guest ceremony and reception. Kelly was still able to stick to our budget AND give us an incredible value with her free/included engagement session and the photo album she was offering as a special at the time for free! On the day of, not only was it Kelly's freaking BIRTHDAY, but it was also over 100-degrees with the heat index!!! This woman powered through four grueling hours in the hot sun and got SO many amazing shots and they are all beautiful! She managed to help wrangle our large, crazy families for photos and every single one turned out really nice! And she was even able to sneak in a few extras that we asked for...all while staying AHEAD OF SCHEDULE! Need I say more? Hire her. She's crazy talented, super professional, and makes you feel really comfortable in front of the lens. If I could afford to have her take pictures for me for everything, I would! Wow! Aside from saying yes to my now husband, Kelly was the best decision ever. Professional, creative, funny and organized. From start to finish she exceeded our expectations. Prompt to respond and flexible in scheduling. She is better than a wedding planner. I didn't have to worry about a thing! She kept us on track and captured every moment and then some. For 8 hours was very reasonably priced. I highly recommend checking her out when considering your photographer choices.

Kelly was amazing from start to finish, from our engagement pictures to our wedding pictures. She went above and beyond capturing our special day and to make sure our pictures were absolutely perfect. She is incredibly friendly, very responsive, and wonderful to work with.

Kelly is a blessing! Not only was she my photographer she was like a second mother to me on my wedding day. I would email her late at night, mind you I am two hours behind Ohio, and she would respond right back calming me down. I would have lost my head if i didnt have kelly involved on my wedding day. Kelly was wonderful to work with from the very start. She was very personable and spent an hour on the phone with me the first night I called her just going over what I wanted. I had already seen her beautiful work as she had photographed our friends' wedding several years ago. Our engagement and wedding photos turned out just as beautiful. And, I never needed to contact her as she stayed in touch with me to see if there were any changes or updates to plans she needed to know about. Kelly was great and took sooooo many great pics! Kelly is super awesome! She is so professional and always on time. I reached out to Kelly on a whim and she was able to help me in my time of need. She is caring, humorous and down to earth. She goes above and beyond, even if she cant reach! Just before she was packing up and getting ready to leave, I asked her to appease a guest for me and she was more than willing to help. Kelly did our engagement pictures as well as wedding day coverage. We were very happy with how the engagement pictures turned out and I was very excited to see how the wedding photos looked. I was disappointed by many things. At the beginning of the day we did getting ready pictures of me and my bridesmaids and then the guys did their getting ready pictures. Kelly forgot to have them put their boutonnières on and my sister had to come pin my husbands flower on after we did the first look. Then we did our family pictures. After we were almost done Kelly mentioned my in laws glasses were dark. They took their glasses off but everyone is squinting. In the pictures with my side of the family it was never mentioned that their glasses were showing up dark as everyone had transition lenses so it looks like they are wearing sunglasses. On top of that I had a cathedral length, designer, lace veil and in every one of my family photos it is laying crumpled on the ground. I was really excited to have photos of my veil due to how dramatic it looked and it is featured in full in approximately less than 2% of my photos (about 10 in over 500). I told Kelly when I reviewed my photos that I was unhappy with how my veil looked in particular and her answer was to photoshop my $600 veil out of my photos or to crop them. I also asked her why she didn't say anything about how my veil looked because I wanted the full length of my veil shown and had no idea. She said she didn't want it to get dirty when you can see in the pictures it is laying on the ground. I also didn't have any good photos of my hair, which was a really unique style or the back of my dress which is also very detailed. All in all I was very disappointed and felt that those details are things all photographers should be able to notice for a wedding.

Kelly was absolutely the best choice we made out of all the decisions we had to make. She is fun, easy to work with, and her pictures are STUNNING. We are still trying to decide which ones we want to print—it’s too hard because they are all so great!

Kelly was my favorite person to work with throughout wedding planning. She is one of the most caring and organized people I have ever met. When we had our initial meeting, she walked us through everything photography related and gave us guidance about the timeline of our event. She was very knowledgeable about weddings and photography and it showed in her pictures! She gave us a complimentary engagement session so that we could get to know each other and she could see how my husband and I photographed. She made us very comfortable and made our photo session fun. At the wedding, she was organized and kept to the agreed upon itinerary. Our pictures were absolutely beautiful and I can't stop looking at them! She was also very affordable and her pictures were worth every penny. We loved Kelly and we love our wedding photos!

So...I'm a groom. Pictures were not on my radar by a long shot. My amazing bride found Kelly. I looked at some of her pictures and I thought great, she'll done just fine. "Fine" couldn't be more of an understatement . Kelly was and is truly fantastic at what she does. A tremendous professional in every sense of the word. Not only did our photos come out better than I could have ever imagined(seriously, I had no idea I'd be this happy), Kelly was so sweet and wonderful to work with. Totally chill and made my wife and I so relaxed it was actually fun! Despite all the stress that comes with that day, the pictures don't show any of it. The reason: Kelly. I could write pages about Kelly Pifer. I could write limericks, sonnets, lyrics, full-length plays, and possibly even screenplays about Kelly Pifer. But alas, I must condense my ode to her in the form of an online review, so therefore, I will keep it brief. Kelly Pifer has irrevocably changed my life for the better. Picture this: a stressed graduate student yearning to marry the love of her life, but inescapably haunted by an eating disordered past and a bridal gown-filled future. She's planning a wedding in another state and furiously Googling vendors. Enter: Kelly Pifer, of Kelly Pifer Photography, to save the day. From the first phone call to the delivery of my beautiful canvas, Kelly has surpassed all my hopes and dreams. When my frazzled self was trying to come up with a location for a freezing March engagement shoot, she went in person to scope out possibilities while also making sure we had backup plans. When I was in tears, beating myself up for my drastic weight gain, utterly fearful of what those engagement pictures would look like, she was there for me in a flash, eager to show me a new side of myself while also comforting me with encouraging words. When the morning of my wedding turned into an absolute dumpster fire, and I lacked all enthusiasm, this tiny sprite of a woman flew in to save the day. She took me away from the drama and guided me into the arms of my husband-to-be, and she expertly maneuvered several cameras and umbrellas as rain poured down with a fury. She captured so much that I wasn't able to notice, given the disaster of the day, and by the end of her time she grasped both of my hands and thanked me. She thanked ME, when it is I who owe this magnificent, brilliant, lovely woman all of the gratitude I possess for singlehandedly saving my wedding. I could not recommend Kelly Pifer more if I tried. If you are hesitating for even a moment, let me assure you that by choosing Kelly, you are guaranteeing yourself cherished memories for a lifetime.

Kelly is absolutely amazing. She is funny and great at making you feel calm and relaxed. She loves what she does and it shows in every picture. The statement “you get what you pay for” is so very true the quality of every picture is amazing and 3 years later i still love all of my wedding pictures and just had her take our family pictures! You wont be disappointed with her as your photographer and on such an important day thats a big deal.

She had the pictures ready for review pretty quickly, and we would have gotten the album sooner, but it was so hard to pick my favorite pictures! Everything was perfect! Kelly, you did an amazing job working with us on every part of our (kinda crazy) wedding day. You were so experiences and so willing to share all of it with us that we didn't need to be stressed out because we knew you could handle anything, and you did! You got the pictures ready for us so much faster than we had ever hoped for and they look amazing! Kelly is AMAZING!!!!! We planned our Ohio wedding from Nebraska, which added to our stress, but Kelly made everything easy. Our engagement photos were beautiful! Without knowing the area, Kelly suggested a site and within days we were reminiscing as we looked through our session. Wedding day...Kelly was on it! I was so at ease with her because I knew she would have everything organized, get people in and out for the photos, and we were relieved of any stress about the timeline and "what ifs" of the day. Our pictures are absolutely stunning! We had a sneak peak and blog post within the week and all of our photos back shortly after. Kelly is talented, thoughtful, timely, organized, creative, and FUNNY:) I appreciated her sense of humor several times over the months of planning! I would recommend her to anyone and am so glad we found her!

Where can I even begin to describe how amazing Kelly is?? I contacted her, on a whim, just a few months before my wedding, assuming she would already have my day booked. To my surprise she actually had my day available and quickly contacted me to discuss everything. She was able to put together a "package" that not only fit what I wanted but also fit my budget. Kelly went out of her way to be accessible to me and even made sure to meet up with me before the wedding, to go over everything. She offered so many ideas/feedback, and was able to come up with a list of all the "must have" photos. Kelly is so funny, quirky, and easy to talk to, she immediately made me feel like I was talking to am old friend. Then, came my wedding day, and Kelly showed up early and ready to jump right in. Even things not photo related, Kelly was right there to help. As a bride who isn't the most comfortable with having my photo taken, Kelly somehow made it easy and fun! She is so talented, she thought out each and every photo, my husband and I are still laughing about how she was willing to climb/move/sneek around where ever/what ever she needed to in order to get the shot she wanted! Our photos turned out absolutely gorgeous, I can't believe all the beautiful moments she was able to capture. Kelly truely goes above and beyond, with updates, photo sneek peeks, and she even writes a blog for each couple about their wedding! I truly could go on and on about this outstanding photographer who I now consider a friend. I am so thankful she was apart of our wedding, it truly wouldn't have been the same without her. Without hesitation I would recommend Kelly, if you are luckly enough to have her as your photographer you will not be disappointed.

Kelly did our engagement photos last fall and our wedding photos as well and did an excellent job.  Neither of us are comfortable in front of the camera, but Kelly promised it would be fun and she delivered on that.  Many of our friends told us they were very impressed with how friendly and professional she was and when they saw the photos in our gallery they wanted her information to book her themselves.  Hopefully we will be seeing you again and again.  Thank you!
