I haven't seen the finished photos yet (its been 2 days), but I couldn't wait to write a review. Kelly was amazing! She shared preview photos the next morning and those are STUNNING! Kelly was so friendly and helpful too! She helped my mom finish buttoning my dress! Kelly asked about our relationship to get a feel for who we were and how she could best capture that in her photos. She gathered a photo list before the day so we wouldn't miss any photos. She was efficient-walked into my hotel room and got right to work! I highly recommend Kelly for your special day!

Kelly was a dream to work with! Her energy and excitement is infectious and she truly just rolled with the punches, making gorgeous images even as we had to move the ceremony last minute to a different location. She found the beauty in every part of the day and has created images that help us remember and capture all the little moments that made the day so special. She also managed to deliver preview photos by the next morning, which was so kind and fast! We can’t recommend her highly enough!

Kelly is an incredible photographer! She was a joy to work with for both our engagement photos and our wedding day, and her photographs of both are absolutely stunning! Plus, she is a lovely person and the overall experience was fun and easy. 10/10 - we highly recommend Kelly to everyone!

If I could give Kelly 10 stars, it wouldn't be enough. Kelly was our wedding photographer this past fall and she did such a fabulous job!! She made us feel comfortable while capturing the perfect moments of our special day. I genuinely can't recommend her enough for your big day!

We had the BEST time at our wedding, and that was in no small part because we hired Kelly as our photographer! From the start of interviewing her, we could tell she was going to be a great fit - so excited about our wedding, she thought of absolutely everything throughout the planning (walk through of the visit, shot list development, timeline review). We loved the variety of packages she had available, so we could really customize exactly what we wanted for our day. During our engagement shoot, we fell in love with Kelly's approach - she made us feel so at ease with simple posing instructions that allowed us to flow naturally and take photos that didn't look staged at all. On our wedding day, Kelly was all over it!! She made sure that she got every photo we asked for, and anytime there was a lull she made sure she was getting key detail shots and plenty of pictures of our guests. We had a few shy children at our wedding, and she was so good at working with them and our videographer (who we hired separately, as videography wasn't part of her available packages at the time). Every moment of our special day was captured, and we will treasure the memories and photographs forever!

My husband and I can’t recommend Kelly enough! She was an absolute blessing. She made us extremely comfortable from the very start and had a perfect balance of assistance with posing in our engagement photos to capturing candid moments during our wedding day. It is incredible the amount of amazing photos she captures—I gave her practically nothing to go off of and she was able to still nail the style of photography I was hoping for. And aside from being incredibly talented she is also an amazing person, even gave me the shoes off her feet when I couldn’t stand to wear my wedding heels any longer and was considering going to the restroom barefooted! All of our guests still continue to rave about Kelly as well and love all the photos she captured of them (even my husbands friends who I’ve never ever had requests for me to send them photos we’ve taken lol). If you want to feel like a couple out of Vogue, kelly is your girl!

Throughout the planning process she is very helpful, communicative, and organized. She is sweet and not in-your-face, however knows when to take control and be more assertive with direction. We reached out to Kelly for our engagement photos over the summer. She hadn't been to our location before and took the time to go there in advance and scope out the area. Kelly was our wedding photographer and we could not have been happier with the whole experience. She truly cares about your day, which shows in both her communication and in her stunning work! She did our engagement photos in addition to our wedding and we absolutely loved both. We were especially impressed with how well she worked with the tricky direct sunlight that we had for our first look and ceremony - her skill with the light and shadows resulted in some of our favorite photos. Kelly is AMAZING!!!! From the moment we first talked to Kelly, we knew that she was the perfect person to capture our most important moments. Kelly is so kind and genuine; working with her was so enjoyable. She truly cares about her couples and gives absolutely everything to her work. She truly is an expert at what she does. As we prepared for the wedding, Kelly was very organized, creating a timeline and schedule, outlining a shot list, and having multiple conversations with us to ensure she would capture exactly what we wanted. We may have exchanged a hundred emails back and forth (hi, crazy bride), but I never felt rushed - I always felt like I was the most important. On the day of the wedding, Kelly was all over it. She made sure all our shots were captured, took our family photos very efficiently, and made us all feel incredibly comfortable while doing it. During the reception, she was silently all.over.the.place... I don't know how she did it! I would absolutely hire Kelly again and will certainly recommend her to anyone. Working with Kelly was a joy and our photos are INCREDIBLE!!

Kelly is the BEST! Kelly was able to produce the most spectacular images for our wedding and engagement session and we had a blast working with her. She is friendly and approachable, she will handle your family and guests with kindness while still getting the best shots, and she was communicative and responsive throughout the entire process. She also did sweet things like send a little gift while we were getting ready for the big day and had a few extra chats with me during the planning process when I was feeling anxious. Kelly is a doll and a fabulous photographer, you will not regret booking her!!

Hire her!! Kelly has made our wedding a dream. She is just as excited for your big day as you are and she goes above and beyond to celebrate your love and everything that comes with it. She is 1000% onboard for anything! Warm and cozy at home, she'll do it. Including your pets? She's bringing the treats! Outside on a beach with whipping winds in 23 degree weather, yup, she's all in with handwarmers! Large scale wedding with 200+ people, she'll be there ready to go! She will be the your hype woman throughout the entire process with any decision you make. Kelly has showcased our love in its true, raw form. Our photos look like they belong in a magazine and were delivered to us earlier than expected. My partner and I try to not take life too seriously, and Kelly helped us capture that in the most amazing shoots, guiding us into certain poses but never making it feel like we were being "staged". I will be recommending and using Kelly for year to come :)

If you’re reading this and potentially deciding between different photographers, stop now and contact Kelly. Kelly is very responsive and easy to work with, professional, organized, and does amazing work. My wife and I looked at many portfolios, hers was the best and the pictures we received 100% lived up to her portfolio. We looked at several portfolios online of different photographers. In many cases we saw some great edited photos, but as we dug in further or looked at actual delivered wasn’t as good. The photos we got from Kelly were as great as advertised. We got many compliments about our photos, and to be honest we have the best wedding pictures out of all our friends. I already recommended Kelly to all my engaged friends.

Kelly went above and beyond for our nontraditional ceremony. We had a ski wedding on top of a mountain, which required some unsteady terrain, lots of rock hopping and a very open-ended run-of-show itinerary, due to us being at the mercy of the weather. Kelly easily navigated the landscape and captured the dramatic backdrop of the mountains perfectly. She also sent it down a black diamond to get shots of our first ski run as a couple. As someone who always wanted a low-key wedding and almost didn't hire a photographer, I am so glad we were able to book Kelly. She was super flexible and knew how to manage our day even though we didn't have a set schedule. She even stayed an extra hour to help get some key shots before our family dinner. We highly recommend!

there are not enough words to describe how amazing Kelly is! Her attentiveness, her quick responses, her character, her smile and her presence are all top notch! Her work is amazing and she and her husband captured our wedding PERFECTLY! We are so in LOVE with our photos, and so is everyone who sees them! OBSESSED! Her photos capture each genuine moment and use the perfect lighting and they are timeless yet creative. She has a clear talent and her work definitely shows it! She is a genuine person and was just so pleasant to work with. Put us right at ease. No awkward posing or moments at all. Easily our most favorite vendor of our entire wedding experience. Kelly photographed our wedding; she is the best! My husband and I had never had professional photos done and were definitely feeling a little awkward about it, but Kelly made us immediately comfortable and helped us pose and look natural. She not only captured all the family/wedding party photos that we wanted, but all of the little details and fun candid moments as well. She is very sweet, professional and great to work with! The finished photos have a beautiful style, were delivered on time and are easy to share.

Hiring Kelly is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! Not only are the photos from our wedding AMAZING, but working with Kelly both in wedding planning and on the day of our actual wedding was such a pleasure. On the day of she was everywhere at our venue, capturing every single moment. stunning. As someone who has trouble with feeling awkward in photos, Kelly went above and beyond giving helpful tips during portrait shots or making my husband and I feel more comfortable in front of the lens. She was also great with my family, friends, and over-excited dog too. This really comes through in the photos from our wedding! They are truly elegant, fun, and romantic. I couldn't be happier with them. Before the wedding, she helped us with the early stages of our timeline planning and had great recommendations for wedding planners and any other vendors. She was very kind and accommodating when it came to rescheduling our wedding due to the pandemic. Working with Kelly was a great experience and I couldn't recommend her enough.

Kelly is THE BEST. She did our engagement, wedding # 1 (covid), and wedding #2 photos and they were all stunning. She is so comforting and fun to be around. She captures every moment perfectly. All of our guests and especially our family LOVED her at the events and were even more stunned by her amazing work. Her photos are real, do not feel staged and are so fun! She just lets the couple's personality come to life! My wife and I will be asking Kelly to take our professional photos for as long as she will let us :) Long story short...HIRE HER!

Like many couples, our wedding plans were foiled by covid and we decided to elope! Both our families are quite a distance away, so hiring a photographer who could capture the intimacy of our day to be able to be shared with them was critical. We were attracted to Kelly’s photography style based on her portfolio, but we knew she was a keeper once we had our first conversation. Kelly’s the best- she’s easy going, professional, fun, flexible and above all was committed to delivering all we could’ve hoped for and more. On the day of, Kelly made us feel so comfortable and gave us guidance when needed (even gave me advice when I was struggling with my hair and makeup!), but was never intrusive. She sent us some photographs the next day (which was so exciting since we didn't have any of our own to look through), and our complete gallery was sent in a beautiful keepsake USB. Kelly is so talented- all our family and friends have specifically commented on how incredible our photos are. Highly highly recommend her and her work!!

An introvert's dream! Having your photo taken can be such an awkward experience. Kelly set my husband and I at ease, providing natural direction rather than formal poses. She made us feel in the moment and I can honestly say that we enjoyed the part we thought would make us the most uncomfortable. The results were stunning. I knew we had made a great decision when Kelly continued to be in frequent contact leading up to the big day and made us feel like she was thinking of us even if we didn't necessarily need anything from her. She was incredibly organized from start to finish and she was the only vendor I wasn’t concerned about! Kelly is incredibly thoughtful and accommodating - ensuring that she knows what is important to her clients. Our dog was one of those things - so rather than have us all spend extra time hiking the venue property, she loaded us (AND the dog) into her own car. Talk about going the extra mile! I would definitely recommend that people consider Kelly and Hourglass Photography for their photo needs.

Professional, Kind, Extremely Talented - Terrific photographer and person. Kelly went WELL BEYOND our expectations. She was extremely professional and at the same time, we felt so comfortable with her; she helped all our pictures look fantastic and natural. If you are considering Kelly along with other photographers, I hope you use this as your sign to go with her, you will not regret it and in fact, you'd regret not doing it! She had samples to us the same night as our wedding, and the entire album in less than two weeks!

Words cannot express how absolutely amazing Kelly was for our wedding. Due to Covid we were unable to use our original photographer and we weren't sure if we wanted to hire a professional photographer. But once we got in touch with Kelly we knew that we had to book her! She was just so down to earth and really made an effort to get to know us and our story. Her energy is so warm and welcoming and you can tell by the way that she talks that she loves what she does. We were so glad we decided to have Kelly capture our day. She made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera and our photos came out absolutely amazing. Kelly was amazing! Planning a wedding during the coronavirus pandemic was pretty challenging but having Kelly ad our photographer definitely relieved a lot of stress! She was so responsive to emails and so helpful each step of the way! The pictures of our wedding cake out better than I had ever imagined!!! I look forward to having Kelly photograph other special events in the future! Can not recommend her enough!!!

Kelly was absolutely amazing as a wedding photographer. My husband and I had never used a professional photographer of any sort, so we were a little nervous going in. But Kelly made us feel so comfortable, not only with her but with the camera. She really captured the love we have for each other and how happy we are to be officially starting this new chapter of our lives. The photos are gorgeous!! Also, I want to note that Kelly really goes above and beyond for her clients. She took a very small job, our 8 person quarantine ceremony, and stayed extra long to make sure we got great shots of everyone. She was completely prepared, having sent me a shot list and questionnaire beforehand. We also received the digital photos so quickly and a couple weeks after a beautifully wrapped memory stick with all the pictures. Overall, our experience with Kelly was great and we can't wait to use her for our big shindig next year!

Kelly is amazing! We almost didn’t hire a photographer because our wedding was REALLY tiny (15 guests) and we were worried it might feel weird having a stranger there for what was essentially a small family party. If anything, our experience was the opposite of that — Kelly has an amazing ability to disappear into the background for long stretches and then pop up at just the right moment to give suggestions and directions that result in truly incredible, authentic photos. My husband and I both get pretty awkward in front of the camera, but Kelly made us both feel instantly comfortable. One of our favorite parts of the entire day was running around the grounds of our venue after the ceremony, just the 3 of us, and taking all sorts of fun/goofy/sweet/romantic photos. And of course, she’s crazy talented — we love our photos so much. It was really cool to get the pictures back and realize how much Kelly totally got us, both as a couple and just as people in general. She really listens and knows exactly how to make your vision come to life (even if your “vision” is kind of vague and half-baked and involves a lot of confused mumbling). I should also mention that Kelly sent us 5 preview photos literally within 2 days of the wedding, and then delivered the rest exactly when she said she would EVEN THOUGH it was the week of Thanksgiving. She’s also possibly the sweetest person I’ve ever met? Just so great in every possible way, can’t recommend her enough. Thank you again, Kelly!

Kelly is so amazing! She made my husband and I feel super comfortable in front of the camera. We had our engagement and wedding photos taken by her and they came out STUNNING!!! Kelly and her husband Derek were an amazing duo to work with on our wedding day 9/21/19, and we cannot say enough about Hourglass Photography! From day one when we met for our engagement shoot, Kelly made us feel incredibly comfortable which is not easy to do in front of the camera. Kelly and Derek made sure that we got every single picture we wanted, and they even stayed late into the night to capture some of the crazy dancing and pictures out on the terrace with friends and family. Working with her was a breeze, and she made what could have been a very stressful part of wedding planning extremely easy. She sent us 5 sneak peek photographs TWO DAYS AFTER OUR WEDDING… talk about efficiency! These photos are unbelievably stunning, and we cannot wait to see the rest. THANK YOU KELLY & DEREK!! Kelly is the best!! We did our engagement shoot with Kelly and she was very accommodating of our crazy schedules since we were coming in from out of town. She was prompt and sent us a very well organized guide to help us prepare for the session which I loved . During the session Kelly made it easy and comfortable for us. We never felt like she was making us do a certain pose. She had a great eye for capturing the most beautiful elements of our location. Our pictures turned out AMAZING! Kelly is absolutely amazing! My fiance and I were nervous about finding a photographer especially since we were from out of state and wanted to make the most of our Boston photoshoot. We were definitely not disappointed! Kelly was so responsive to our messages before the shoot and made us feel really comfortable in front of the camera on the actual day.
