Kelly Urban Photography

on't take a lot of photos so we are not naturals when it comes to posing. Kelly really managed to capture the perfect candid moments as well as helping us pose for those glamour shots everyone wants. She was easy to communicate with and very punctual, and she and her husband are funny and kind as well! I would highly recommend her!

d ask for a specific photo during the wedding and she would have already had it taken and covered! Kelly also treated our families with respect and was a wonderful wedding guest. She made us feel at ease which was not easy with our nerves on the actual day! Kelly was a lot of fun to work with and was very clear about her pricing, typical photoset she took, and asked about any family or friend information she needed to avoid awkward situations (divorced parents etc.). She edited photos in a speedy but high quality manner and we highly recommend her!

ely through getting magical photos, and we are so grateful! We will definitely book with her for any future photography needs.  :)

th a creative soul. We instantly bonded over our shared love of World of Warcraft, especially since many of our guildies were at the wedding and we were meeting several of them in person for the first time! It made the entire experience even more fun and meaningful. Kelly went above and beyond during our engagement shoot by trekking out to my truck yard, embracing the rain, and capturing some of the most unique and beautiful photos we've ever seen. Her creativity and ability to find beauty in unexpected places is unmatched. On the wedding day, she was perfectly on time, super efficient, and worked effortlessly with all our different friend and family groups. She made even the shyest guests feel at ease with her natural, friendly conversation turning what could have been awkward moments into genuine smiles and laughter. We’re so grateful to have had Kelly be a part of our day and already can’t wait to work with her again for future family shoots. She’s not just an incredible photographer, but a wonderful person to have by your side on such a special day. Highly, highly recommend!

nd timely. She communicated effectively and I am so happy she was able to take our pictures. I recommend her services to anyone!

She had a quick turn around on photos and we couldn't be happier with the final product!

munication, straight-forward direction during the shoot, and a really quick turnaround on the photos. My fiance and I are not the most comfortable in front of the camera, but Kelly put us at ease and we are very happy with the results!

pictures came out amazing!

urnaround time compared to other photographers I’ve worked with. We are a lesbian couple and Kelly made us feel extremely comfortable in front of the camera. Can’t recommend highly enough!!!

ruly able to capture the joy that getting married is all about. Kelly was great about communicating proactively and was super responsive. She was punctual to all our events. We got pictures back in a timely fashion and it was super easy to get access to them. She is a good soul and we count ourselves lucky to have had her on our special day and the other days leading up to our wedding!

smooth. Her direction was very easy to follow and the photos came out beautifully. She exceeded our expectations and we had a blast taking the photos. She saw our vision and kept us in mind while choosing the place to take the photos, it really meant a lot that she listened to us and captured it all. We are so pleased with how they turned out and can’t wait to share with friends and family. Kelly was also great with communication throughout the whole process, from taking us as clients, setting up the shoot, letting us know the time frame of when we would receive the photos and doing zoom calls to keep in touch. She goes above and beyond for her clients and you can tell she loves what she does.

t takes to get the shot.

similar time frame!

she brought to our day

our genuine personalities. We are both a little awkward when taking photos but she made it a fun experience and we greatly appreciated that. We loved all her nerdy ideas that helped bring out the elements of our nerdy Lord of the Rings themed wedding. Looking through our photos was such a nostalgic experience as we relived our special day through her captured images. We highly recommend her!

pposite of posing experts—Kelly had so many ideas and suggestions and captured everything perfectly. We also took portraits before the actual wedding, and I was FLOORED when we got them. Her suggestions, guidance, and skill as a photographer made them something I will treasure forever. Kelly is super responsive and got us our portraits ahead of schedule. She was flexible and made sure to get everything we wanted out of our pictures. I will recommend Kelly to anyone and everyone who needs a professional photographer for any occasion, but especially for your wedding! 5000 stars ⭐️!!

mily running around and the peacefulness of our gathering. I’m so happy with how they all turned out and the variety of color and black and whites included. Affordable and excellent experience with Kelly. Glad I went with her for our special day.

's schedules changed, even being willing to shoot on New Year's day! Her edits are clean don't detract from the moment allowing the emotion to shine through!

to our out of the ordinary requests, and I would choose her again and again! I can’t wait to see what she captured on our big day! 😍

he had multiple zoom meeting with us to get to know us and what we wanted to do. She`s always up for doing unique ideas. She has an email list and facebook group specifically for helping people understand how to make the most of your pictures like how to pose to achieve the look you want or ideas on how to dress for your engagement photos. Her knowledge helped me in countless ways. She`s fun, dedicated and skilled. Definitely my favorite vendor I hired for my wedding.

ures as a gift for my fiance. I had so much fun in that photoshoot as well and felt so comfortable with her as if I'd known her for the longest. I love the quality work that she offers but personality, charm, and accesability is something you can't learn. I'd greatly reccomend her.

raditional wedding at the Texas Renaissance Festival. We had no reception, just pics with family and friends, followed by a photo shoot of us doing our favorite things at Renn Faire. She set up the shots beautifully with very little guidance from us. Her attention to detail is stunning and we could not be more excited to see some of our wedding images come to us only days after the ceremony. She is easy to communicate with, creative, thoughtful and incredibly talented. We love Kelly’s work and would recommend her to anyone who’s asking for a wedding photographer.

e was an amazing mix of beautiful, emotional, and goofy photos. She is great. Definitely recomend her.

he love we shared in every snap of her camera. We used her for our engagement photos as well as our wedding photos. I like that she saw our vision and embraced it. We loved every photo from both sessions. We had a galaxy theme wedding with light sabers! She brought some mini Star Wars figures to take some out of this world photos of our rings. She captured every moment so well I could really really live my wedding through them. The photos she was able to capture when the sun had set with my wedding party wielding light sabers was amazing. She kept in touch with us from beginning to end, every step of the way. she even had a questionnaire for us to fill out before hand so she knew what was to happen and what moments to capture so we didn’t have to worry about a thing on the day of. I have a BIL that is special needs and with the questionnaire we were able to tell her those photos should come first as he does not sit or stand still well. The photos with him were absolutely perfect! She got one of him jumping around dancing and it’s my absolute favorite. I really mean it when I say I can’t say enough good things. I could take up the rest of my 2k words on this review honestly with all the good things to say. We are planning on using her for some 1st anniversary photos too if she’s not too busy!

y helpful and accommodating in making our wishes happen. We wanted more photo time with our friends and family, to de-emphasize the staged photos of wedding items and decorations, and to take wedding portraits on a weekend before the wedding to save more time to be with our guests on the wedding day. She made sure to focus on the things we wanted and didnt pressure us to do any of the things we didnt want. She DID provide direction where helpful or where we were unsure, especially in setting up the photos to make sure the ideas we had translated to fun and beautiful pictures. I love the pictures she took of us (which is a rarity!) and will definitely think of her first with our future photography needs!

now you as a couple. Thanks again Kelly for capturing us, our friends and family on our wedding day..

y was super easy to work with and made taking our engagement photos so enjoyable! She was easy going yet so professional. She was down to our suggestions to walk off the path and the pictures turned out amazing! We highly recommend using Kelly Urban Photography!

her for any of your photo needs 🤗

ding planning EASY. Her way of working is incredibly organized and she went out of her way to ensure that she followed through with even the smallest detail of the contract. Her honesty and integrity in her line of work truly impressed me and my (now) husband! Once the photos are ready for viewing, the website she uses keeps them very organized and easy to find (details, ceremony, portraits, reception, etc). The keepsakes that you receive from her (if purchased) are of excellent quality, the photos were everything we hoped for and more, and she was the perfect blend of silly/serious for our big day. I highly recommend hiring Kelly for your big day because you cannot get better than her!

Highly recommend.

idently say I wouldn't have any other photographer to capture our big day! Her photos from our engagement shoot carried all the color and life of the moment, and she has a great eye for location and posing. We had the chance to try out a brand new location with her for our engagement shoot and even though it had rained just before, she was able to make the best of all the puddles and turned out some really fun and truly gorgeous photos, all with a cheerful attitude that made us feel really comfortable throughout the shoot. We are already looking forward to having more beautiful memories from our big day!

needed on the big day. They were both attentive to the lists provided of shots that I wanted and could be seen all over the wedding, always working to get the good pictures. I am a big fan of Kelly and would absolutely recommend her! Thank you, Kelly!
