e to the fact that I feel that the overall price was a bit too high for what I got. I didn't want to spend too much money on flowers so I didn't really go overboard and just ordered the basic things - bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces, aisle markers and 2 attachments on a pergola we had for our ceremony. This could have been due to the cost of flowers in general, which I know have gone up and is not the vendor's fault. I just wish it had been a little more cost effective. Overall, Kelsey did a fantasic job and I would recommend her to all brides!

o live in and new job. As you can imagine, planning a wedding on top became quite stressful. The only thing we had done at this point was our venue, caterer, and photographer and were left to do with the many details that are involved when planning a 150 person wedding. After we began working with Kelsey, we quickly saw that we made the right choice. Kelsey is organized, detail oriented, and reliable. Most importantly in my opinion, Kelsey excels in communication with her clients as well as bridging conversations with other vendors. We trusted Kelsey and valued her opinions with all things Wedding. I often felt overwhelmed with the choices and decisions that went along with planning but having Kelsey on our team felt like a weight off my shoulders. She helped us stay on track and realistic with our budget and even saved us money in some instances! For example, our venue allowed tent sharing between clients. When the couple whose wedding was the day after ours expressed interest, Kelsey took initiative in getting the tent share agreement started then done (which involved collaboration between us, the other couple, our venue manager, and tent vendor) and saved us quite a bit of our budget. The day of the wedding, I was blown away by how well Kelsey integrated all of my preferences and choices with her design expertise. On top of being our awesome wedding planner, Kelsey was our florist too! Flowers were not at the top of our priority list as far as budget allocation went but still, Kelsey created beautiful bouquets and boutonnieres and floral arrangements for our altar and guest tables. After the wedding, I kept my bouquet in a vase at home and it continued to be beautiful for almost two weeks! I highly recommend Kelsey as an event planner. We have greatly appreciated her hard work and patience with us as we muddled through this process. The only thing I would have done differently was have her on with us from the very beginning!

nt Encounter for our day-of coordination was a great value-- it was less expensive, even half the price, of some of the other day-of coordinators I considered, and we definitely felt like we were still in good hands. I probably wouldn't have hired a coordinator if my venue hadn't required one, but when the wedding day came around, I realized that it would have been really difficult to pull off without one. I'm so glad we had Kelsey and would recommend her!

getting our officiant to sign our marriage license, we are so incredibly glad we hired Kelsey, she didn't try to upsell us on her full package because we didn't need it, she also was helpful with designing and offering flower packages even though we went with someone else.

edding day dreams a reality. She not only planned every minute of my special day, but was there to see it through. Before her, I was a nervous wreck thinking about how the day would go, but with Kelsey, I knew I was in good hands. Even when the weather took a turn for the worst, she remained calm and was quick to come up with an alternative schedule. An Elegant Encounter was a delight to work with! I highly recommend!!

did she do all of our florals, but also took care of our day of coordination. She communicated with me as much as I needed about ideas and planning, and she was so creative when it came to our decor and florals. She accomplished EXACTLY what we had in mind for our decor! The day of the wedding, there was a big mishap with our venue and their lack of staff and communication. Kelsey took charge and handled everything with grace and efficiency. She remained calm and kept the day flowing smoothly, even with vendors who ran late. I give my highest recommendation to An Elegant Encounter, and I would advise any bride to use them for your wedding!
