, however that was not when we ourselves were looking for a photographer. My husband and I were only dating at the time we met Kelsey and were at my best friend’s wedding. Kelsey for lack of a better way to put it was amazing. The way she captured such intimate and important moments is inspiring. We both commented after that night that she had an incredible attitude and clearly helped the entire wedding party and family to feel right at home! We were so impressed by her at that wedding that when we got engaged we knew immediately who we wanted to photograph our day. We ended up changing our original date around to fit a weekend that she had available, yes she is THAT good. It was one of the best decisions we made. She not only helps you to feel confident in front of the camera, but she makes it fun and memorable! Her excitement and passion for photography is irresistible and lights up every session! Kelsey was an incredible help to us and even took the time to write out a an hour by hour schedule for us to better be able to picture more accurately what the “day of” would look like. She is the perfect blend of helpful and hands-off. During our wedding day Kelsey had a second photographer, Emily, she was so much fun and full of life helping to add to all of the excitement of the day! After our family/wedding portraits and ceremony, Kelsey became a part of the background, capturing moments that we will now cherish forever. We cannot say enough good things about KJ Photography and what it has given to us. We are forever thankful for her talent, her insight, and for the way that she honestly cared for us.

If you think about it, a photographer is the only vendor that is there for your entire wedding day. She has seen what works well and what does not. She's basically a wedding planner herself. You get much more than someone who shows up to "click the shutter". Kelsey is so enthusiastic and brought such a great energy to our wedding day. I don't know how she does it! We are so thrilled with how the photos turned out and they have us reliving the day over and over again. Her editing style is timeless and she puts in so much time and energy to make sure the photos capture your day perfectly. I would recommend Kelsey time and again! So amazing!
