We worked with Kelsey initially due to her willingness to travel to meet us, and her competitive pricing. However, we really appreciated how well organized she was, with thoughtful prompts and emails helping us to prepare. And how she adjusted to our style, which was a bit more laid back and relaxed. She was kind, fun, and understanding of our chaotic schedules we had at the time. She graciously came to Duluth where we were living at the time for our engagement/family photos, and then to the Twin Cities for our wedding. Neither of us are big into having our picture taken, but Kelsey made is easy to relax and have fun with it, even though it was a bit out of our element. Her photos turned out beautifully, and we'd highly recommend Kelsey to anyone getting married.
Kelsey was absolutely amazing. From our first meeting we knew exactly what to expect throughout the photography process. Then came our engagement session which was a blast! As well, throughout the entire planning process Kelsey was organized and provided us with so many resources - she truly made my life SO much easier and I cannot say thank you enough! Kelsey and Brett were so much fun to work with on our wedding day. They were attentive to both my husband and I as well as our guests. They demonstrated kindness/compassion, extreme professionalism and they were such a pleasure to work with. Kelsey truly goes above and beyond. We feel honored to have Kelsey as part of our wedding day, she made us feel so incredibly special! I would recommend Kelsey to anyone ☺️

A few years ago, when my husband and I were planning our own wedding, having a great photographer was most important to me. Shocker, being a photographer myself, right? We knew wanted someone we were comfortable with and could trust — not only to get the important moments, but to capture who we truly are together. That's what I love to do for you, too.
If you're looking for someone to come alongside you and document how you celebrate your love, then I can't wait to be there with you. I love connecting with each couple, and capturing who you are with joy, creativity, and intention.
My photojournalistic style means I'm a natural observer and storyteller – so whatever your day looks like, I'm right there with you and documenting that story. Weddings are such a beautiful expression of love and commitment, and of course, the start of the rest of your lives together. I'm honored to be a part of that journey!

Hi I'm Kelsey! I first fell in love with photos as a teenager, toting my little point-and-shoot digital camera with me everywhere I went, as one did in the mid-2000s. A few years later, a friend asked me if I’d photograph her sister’s wedding reception – So in 2010, I bought my first professional camera, and stepped excitedly (and nervously) into the unknown. I fell in love with photographing weddings that day, recording the connections between loved ones. As your photographer, I believe there is deep value in having that story told in a unique and beautiful way. It’s really an honor to see what means the most to you, and how you celebrate it. Your story may be full of quiet moments, a grand adventure, or something in between – I’m here for all of it, because what matters most is how you connect with each other, and your world. As for me and my family – My husband and I met in 2016, and wasted no time getting married in 2017. He’s my best friend, second shooter extraordinaire, biggest supporter and encourager, and sweetest dad to our daughter. Together we love making memories as a family, being outdoors, watching The Office, and dreaming about our next place to travel!
