My husband and I cannot say enough amazing things about Kelsey! From the moment we met her, she instantly made us feel comfortable. We spent an afternoon eating arepas, cracking up about silly things, and sharing stories about our lives. We could tell she truly wanted to get to know us and we couldn’t wait to start shooting with her! During our engagement session, she really helped us come out of our shells. She captured us at our happiest and most genuine. We were so excited with how our photos turned out. Our wedding day was a bit crazy due to one of our vendors being late. Kelsey and her assistant could tell I was beginning to be stressed and jumped right in to help. We are so thankful not only for Kelsey’s photography services, but for the way she went above and beyond to make sure our day amazing and stress free! We received our wedding pictures very quickly after and could not believe our eyes. We were overwhelmed with emotion and reminisced the wedding day with every photo. Kelsey has become a friend to us and we are so thankful for the way she perfectly captured every moment of our special day. We love her and recommend her to all our friends!

I cannot recommended Kelsey enough!! She made my fiancé and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera. The posing felt so natural and she encouraged us to have fun, which we definitely did! She’s so easy to talk to, is open to ideas yet comes with fantastic ideas of her own, and her quality is top notch! I squealed when I got my gallery back, and was in awe of how you could see each of our personalities in the photos and the playful nature of our relationship. From start to finish, Kelsey was both professional AND fun, and I could not recommend her more!! She’s WORTH IT!!!

What can I say about Kelsey besides her being the BEST PHOTOGRAPHER in Durham! She made us feel so comfortable and knew all of the hot spots to take our photos. She also came ready with poses and questions so that she could catch the candid moments. You would not regret booking Kelsey. I am sooooo grateful to have found her on Instagram and I will definitely use her for my future family photos. She is awesome!

My husband and I are awkward people and that magnifys by 100 when we get in front of a camera, but y’all. Kelsey. Saved. Us. She made us feel as comfortable as possible and gave direction when we needed it while also letting us be ourselves. I really felt like she could’ve been my sister on my wedding day because she was there offering help or support wherever it was needed. AND THEN HER WORK. Gorgeous. The shots she got when we snuck away on the beach to get some photos of just me and my husband are my absolute favorite. She cares about her couples so much and it shows. I could not be happier with my decision to hire her to capture my day.

One phrase sums her up: Game-changer My husband and I wanted a professional photographer but we waited until the last minute to book one. We were so nervous that we would not find anyone but still threw a “Hail Mary” and we reached out on Thumbtack for some local photographers. And there is Kelsey! What struck me the most was about Kelsey’s photos was how happy her brides looked. Her pictures looked elegant while also having a sense of fun. Luckily (extremely) for me, she was available for my wedding date. Kelsey worked fast to get me a quote that was affordable yet had a solid photo package. When we first spoke on the phone, her professionalism and enthusiasm gave me so much confidence in her! Kelsey kept the communication up well leading up to the wedding and answering all of our questions kindly and thoroughly. When the big day came,Kelsey immediately made friends with the bridal party and got to work! When I had a minor meltdown, Kelsey utilized her time-management skills to move the groom pictures forward so I could gather my wits. She was funny, helpful, confident but not overbearing. Kelsey was so gracious and fun and a joy to have around that day. The pictures she took are gorgeous. Almost 8 months later, I am STILL showing everyone the pictures. She knew what I wanted out of that day and delivered 100%. I don’t know what else I can say....you’ve read this far so BOOK HER.

Kelsey was such a fun photographer and overall down to earth person to work with. I had told her that I was up for any and everything and she took my wishes and ran with it. We ended up doing an engagement session 3 hours away in the Outer Banks and I am soooo pleased on how the pictures turned out. Leading up to the session she gave great advice on clothing and how to style ourselves to look our best. During our session, she gave great direction and told us exactly how to pose and what to do, which eliminated any awkwardness or us being uncomfortable. And lastly, her turnaround time was great... even providing us a few sneak peeks. Kelsey is such a sweet and kind photographer and and I would definitely recommend her to capture any special moment in your life.

Kelsey was a phenomenal photographer to work with. My fiance and I met with her in person ~ 3 months before our wedding and she answered all of our questions and showed us sample photos from other weddings / family portraits / special occasions, etc. You can tell from her personality that she takes her role seriously but is so fun to work with . On our wedding day, she got to our venue early and made sure that we got all the requested photos with different family members, despite some family members being late. She really brought out the best in everyone. Now that we have our photos, we absolutely love them!!! Several are framed around our home and we created photos books for our parents. She really did a phenomenal job and we would recommend her to anyone. Also, she was willing to travel ~2.5 hours to our venue in Charlotte (we live in the Triangle area) and her price was SO reasonable, especially since our budget was pretty limited. Thank you so much Kelsey for your hardwork. You were one of the best vendors we hired and we would recommend you 100%.
