I had the absolute pleasure of working with Kelsey for a surprise live portrait at my best friend's wedding, and she truly exceeded every expectation. From the start, she was detail-oriented and over-communicated (in the best way), offering incredible suggestions that made the experience even more special. She even knew the venue and suggested doing a card beforehand to keep the surprise intact without feeling awkward or initiating added waterworks! At the wedding, Kelsey seamlessly fit into the pre-planned event. She was super low-maintenance (a blessing since there was little to no cell service), organized, and generally lovely to work with. She arrived early to capture the scenery and even brought her own umbrella, ready to pivot when the rain started. Kelsey worked magic to fit our very large wedding party onto a smaller size canvas, ensuring everything looked perfect. Her thoughtfulness truly stood out—from sending me one of her prints when I signed the contract, to tracking me down before she left so I could see the portrait, to giving prints to my vendors as a thank-you for including her in the day. Her kindness, professionalism, and sheer talent blew me away. She even gifted me her original sketch as a keepsake! I haven’t even seen the final product yet, but I can confidently say I’d hire her again for any special event—1,000% recommend!
