I'm Kelsey, a film photographer based in Macon, Georgia, photographing weddings and elopements across Georgia, the Carolinas, and the rest of the Southeast, including Atlanta, Athens, Augusta, Savannah, Columbia, Greenville, Charleston, and the South Carolina Lowcountry. My wife McKenna second shoots weddings with me. I shoot real 35mm and medium format film, hand-scanned, with digital alongside so nothing fast gets missed. That combination gives you the color and texture of film without the risk. Most of my wedding work is made on a Leica M6, with medium format portraits on a Fuji GW690III. My approach is documentary. I spend most of the day observing and only step in to guide portraits and key moments, so your photos show the day as it actually felt, not a list of poses. I'm drawn to the honest, in-between moments, like the hand squeeze before the ceremony or the grandparent everyone keeps checking on. Outside of weddings, I make long-term documentary work. My series Please, Don't Leave Me has been exhibited in New York galleries and published as a photo book, and I've partnered with Leica, Kodak, Adobe, and Polaroid. Collections range from $1,600 for elopements and intimate ceremonies to $8,400 for larger weddings with travel, with most couples choosing the $4,495 Heirloom collection. Every collection includes travel within the region. Larger collections add medium format film, a Super 8 film highlight reel, and a fine art album, and a second photographer can be added to other collections too.
