Before I got engaged I never thought I needed a wedding planner, but once we started the process I quickly discovered I was wrong! Even though Kelsey is in Dallas and we/our wedding were in New Orleans, it never felt like a single ball got dropped in the whole process because of how professional, organized, and communicative she is. She came into town multiple times for vendor meetings and gave us notes of things to look for/ask when she couldn't and would then follow up with us afterwards. Like many couples, we postponed our wedding to a later date which meant finding some new vendors and Kelsey helped handle that with such professionalism, grace, and kindness even when I was unraveling. She also stayed on top of all policies and guidelines regarding Covid which were ever-changing! Anytime I felt overwhelmed or stressed (which was often because I'm a very anxious Type A personality), we would just schedule a meeting and afterwards I would wonder what I was so worried about in the first place. Kelsey has such incredible attention to detail and amazing creativity! She would offer and present things that I never would've thought of in a million years that really gave our wedding a special touch while still feeling true to what we wanted and representative of who we are. She had a clear vision for our wedding from the very beginning while still listening to what we wanted and welcoming our input. And while she was giving us all of this attention for our wedding, I know she was doing the same thing for all of her couples while never making anyone feel "second best". She is always on top of her game and such a joy to work with, and the same can be said of her staff as well. We actually got to enjoy our wedding and reception because they had everything under control which really made a world of difference. You absolutely cannot go wrong hiring KWWE. Our wedding was everything I ever dreamed of and more, and I have Kelsey to thank for that!

We opted to go with Kelsey initially because we were in desperate need of a planner willing to execute our vision. Kelsey was instrumental in bringing my dream wedding to life!! After interviewing a few planners, Kelsey's warm personality and determination to bring my vision to life within our budget made her the clear choice. It was the best decision I made in planning my wedding! Not only did she handle vendor and family meetings with professionalism, but she was always prepared and organized. She was amazing at the small details of decor and fun personality in our wedding that would have overwhelmed me had I been on my own. Where to begin with this incredible woman? My husband and I got engaged January 1, 2019 and we booked Kelsey eight days later. My mom was trying to plan the wedding herself, at first, but quickly realized that there was so much more to wedding planning than just booking vendors. There was no other person I could think of more to meet for wedding planning services than Kelsey! She was an absolute rockstar! She had connections to all types of vendors and even some we didn’t use but we could use some resources from them. She made sure we were right on track which helped this former bride because my anxiety made me overthink everything! But even with my anxiety, Kelsey was so gracious in making sure that I was sure that everything was going according to plan. We pretty much had the wedding fully planned by about eight months out from the wedding. She also was very aware of our budget and planned accordingly from that! Then Covid-19 happened and it seem like plans were getting jumbled left and right for other brides I knew. But Kelsey was on top of it by contacting vendors about protocols and policies with the vendors so that our wedding could continue as planned. Her reassurance that our wedding could continue as planned made me feel so calm and even more excited about my wedding! She also listens to your needs/wants for the wedding and doesn’t push you to do things that you are not comfortable with on anything from vendors to decorations and beyond. The rehearsal and the day of the wedding went so smoothly that there’s no doubt in my mind that she’s an incredible wedding planner! Even when our baker had a mix up on our cake order, Kelsey was right there to set it right and fix the mess up. If there’s anyone you should definitely have on your wedding team, it should be Kelsey Williams Weddings + Events.
