Kelsey's Kakes

xactly how I imagined! She was great!!

. We had an alternative wedding so had some different design requests, such as a black cake, and Linda did a fantastic job consulting with us to see what she could do to make our vision become a reality. She executed flawlessly and demonstrated a keen understanding of our vision. The attention to detail in both the aesthetics and flavors showcased her incredible skill and passion for her craft. We are immensely grateful to Kelsey’s Kakes for adding a stunning and delicious memorable touch to our day, and we highly recommend her services for couples seeking an exceptional wedding cake

e yummy “homemade” sweets she provided! I would highly recommend!

is to die for!!!! Linda was so kind and was available for us with any questions we had! We would recommend Kelsey’s cakes to anyone and everyone for any event! She definitely helped make our wedding night perfect!

I was looking for more of a variety of a table. She made my idea come to life! Not only was the dessert table GORGEOUS, it tasted even better! By the end of the night, the sweets were practically gone. I can't wait to thaw out our cake in a year and get to enjoy it again!

but her sweets are just as delicious (we are more cake people). Her package that includes a separate tier already frozen for your anniversary is the best because we could tell the venue to cut up all the cake and not worry about leaving any to be frozen. We had 210 people and bought enough for 215, and we ran out of cake. Literally ran out. People were going back looking for more. Our favorite was the almond sour cream with raspberry jam filling, drool worthy. We still haven’t stopped receiving compliments. Our out of town guests (we had over half from out of state) keep saying next time they come back we’ll have to eat where we ordered the cake from. Had to break their heart and say we don’t think Linda would appreciate us showing up for dinner and dessert to her house but we can order a cake when you’re in town. Highly recommend her! (Picture doesn’t do beauty of the cake justice as my mom took it with her cell phone really quick, but just as beautiful as it tasted).

cake balls will be gone before you know it! Linda was great to work with and it's also very much appreciated that she will pickup her cake and sweet stands at Starved Rock so you don't have to worry about it! Thank you from The Lukers!

em! Some were even caught sneaking out extra cupcakes in coffee cups. Her cake stands were beautiful and definitely offered an elegant presentation of the cupcakes and we loved how she was able to incorporate a figurine of our dog with the cake. Definitely pick Kelsey's Kakes for your wedding needs!

nd went perfectly with our vision! I first tried Linda's cakes at a wedding expo at Starved Rock, and knew right after trying I did not have to look any further. The cake is absolutely delicious, and so moist and flavorful. On our wedding day, Starved Rock brought me and my now husband three slices of cake (we got 3 different flavors so they brought one of each), being the bride and groom we were very busy and didn't get to eat the cake until the very end of the night, and it was STILL so delicious and moist even after sitting at the table for hours. All of the additional sweets we ordered were also delicious and our guests loved them. We've gotten so many compliments on the cake and sweets even weeks after the wedding. I can't wait until our first anniversary just to have some of Linda's cake again!

the sweets we had for them. I would highly recommend Kelsey’s Kakes for all of your dessert needs at your event.

sts are still talking about how good the desserts were and we were so happy to take home cake for ourselves! I would recommend her for anyone looking for desserts for their wedding.

r wanted. I ordered extra cake because we wanted leftovers - but barely had leftovers because it is THAT good everybody ate it and many had more than one piece! Excellent variety of flavor choices. Cannot recommend enough! Reasonably priced as well! I wish I could post a picture!

cake was delicious and the best they’ve had. Several even said they wished they’d had it for their weddings. We went with the marble cookies and cream two layer with a birch tree design that turned out beautifully. It’s so hard to resist going into the freezer to sample a piece of the anniversary layer! The prices are very reasonable as well and the cake was delivered to our event for us. So happy we ran into Kelsey’s Kakes at the Starved Rock Lodge Wedding Show and booked our cake with them!

ed!

actly what they wanted. Very nice lady. I would highly recommend her!

ing the urge to pull my anniversary cake out of the freezer now and ordering a new one at our one year anniversary. She also traveled about an hour to my venue to set up the cake which was highly appreciated!

I’m going to need to order some cupcakes for a just because occasion!

an hour away from Peru the morning of the wedding and coordinated the flower decorations with our florist. We couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! 10/10 would recommend :)

pberry filling. Also 3 types of cupcakes; white cake chocolate frosting, chocolate cake with white frosting and chocolate cake and COOKIES AND CREAM FROSTING! They were so good we didn’t take a single one home! We finished off our bottom tier the following week and froze our top tier. We cannot wait to cut into it at our one year. We gave her our vision and she nailed it!! Her prices are just as good as her baking! Do not hesitate to book her today!! You definitely will not be disappointed!!!

o her home the day before with it when we got into town. The cake was absolutely beautiful and delicious. My Mom kept saying it was the best buttercream she had ever tasted. Personable Service & Completely Professional!
