About this vendor
Kelsy Marie Design offers full service wedding and event floral design, serving San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area with beautiful customized arrangements to fit your style and budget.
Flowers have the power to communicate part of your story and transform a space in a way that little else can. Whether you’ve been scouring Pinterest and know exactly what you want or feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, I’m here to help design your dream flowers and wow your guests. From bouquets and boutonnieres to centerpieces, arches, and installations, bringing your unique vision to life and creating arrangements that tell your story is my priority.
Inspired by nature and captivated by each person’s story, I create custom designs for each event with thoughtful attention to every detail. After a long distance engagement, planning my own wedding from NYC, I understand the challenges of wedding planning and work hard to make the process as simple and stress-free as possible.
MEET KELSY
I grew up in a little valley filled with wildflowers in Northern California, spent my college years in the hustle of NYC, planned a long distance wedding in Nashville where I established my business and had our 2 children before moving to our current home in San Francisco in late 2019. I've been a floral designer since 2011 and have 5 stars on TheKnot.com. In my spare time, I enjoy gardening, hosting dinner parties, hiking, sipping a cappuccino or whiskey cocktail, snowboarding, and being anywhere by the coast.
FLOWERS + SOCIAL GOOD
One of the mantras of my business is to love well, one person at a time. Not only do I love to come alongside each couple helping bring their floral vision to life and wow their guests, but from the beginning my business has also been devoted to social good. A portion of the profits from each wedding supports healing for victims of trafficking. Together we can spread beauty and healing to the world.
I look forward to meeting you!

I interviewed many florists while planning our wedding, and Kelcy Marie Designs stood out from the very first conversation. It was clear that she not only cared about but was excit...
ed to help me bring my vision to life, and even in that first conversation she started populating ideas from the inspiration photos I had shared. It just felt like she really “got” what I was going for, and once we hired her, she worked closely with me to bring it all to fruition — including reusing these book “vases” that a friend had created for my bachelorette party. She worked with me to get a proposal that worked with our budget but still matched my vision, even agreeing to avoid floral foam where possible in a nod to my desire for sustainability.
The results were nothing short of stunning. I was very excited about bright, airy flowers, and Kelcey did not disappoint. From my bouquet to the gorgeous pillars flanking the ceremony and then our sweetheart table, we were so thrilled with the way the flowers turned out — and we received so many comments from guests too. We are so grateful to Kelcy for adding so much beauty to our day, and that Kelcy gives a portion of her profits to support victims of human trafficking makes it all the sweeter. Not only did we get the flowers of our dreams, but it felt nice that our dollars were doing some good too!
We can't recommend Kelsy enough! From the very first email, she was obviously incredibly talented, kind, communicative and hardworking. Her proposals were fantastic and really help...
ed us visualize her work. She kept me up to date on the availability of flowers that I wanted and was incredibly flexible while we were waffling on whether we wanted to do certain installations. She was so careful to work within our (relatively modest) floral budget and offer different options at different price points. In the end, her flowers were just breathtaking and exactly what I didn't even know that I wanted! I also was super appreciative of how she tried to include my husband (then fiance) in the process - his tastes are a little unusual (he wanted "forest duff" scattered across the dinner tables...) and she was very deliberate about trying to include things he would like, offering to add driftwood, lichen, even moss-covered oak branches if we foraged them ourselves. In the end we went with more traditional (beautiful!) wildflowers, but we both really appreciated the thought. Book with Kelsy - you won't regret it!

or the tables, bouquets, and boutonnieres. My bouquet was so gorgeous I almost cried when she brought it in! Even though we really didn't know what kind of flowers we wanted, somehow Kelsey completely captured our wedding vibes with the flowers. She was so patient with us and helped us through the process every step of the way. She was also super responsive to emails and really easy to work with. I would highly recommend Kelsy for wedding florals!

elsy and reached out about her services. After our first conversation I knew we had to work with her. Kelsy understood our vision and made the most incredible recommendations. We came across one hiccup due to not being able to utilize the space like we had hoped, but Kelsy quickly came up with a backup plan that was perfect. As a bride, this was huge! It could have been a huge let down but Kelsy didn't let that happen. I cannot say enough good things about Kelsy and how great she is to work with, but I can say she will help make your dream day a reality. She's fantastic!

everything. We had a fall, outdoor wedding by the lake with a reception in the woods. Kelsy nailed it with beautiful bouquets for me and my bridesmaids, stylish boutonnieres for the groomsmen, sweet coursages for moms and grandmothers, lovely aisle markers and a last minute arbor arrangement, romantic table centerpieces and fresh blooms for our cake. She made sure to choose seasonal flowers that would make our money go farther, while at the same time never losing focus of the vision I'd shared with her.
I love working with individuals rather than large businesses, and the personal touch Kelsy puts in her work makes her the right choice for such a special occasion. Give Kelsy a call and I can guarantee you will want her to help make your day as beautiful and memorable as you can imagine.

ille! I tried my best to keep my bouquet intact after the wedding. It survived the flight from Nashville to Arizona and a week and a half after that.
