oss HiMotive. Although, I was a little skeptical due to the reviews from previous customers I figured it was just a few unhappy couples (which is common that not everyone is happy). However, I regretted my decision soon after. I ended up booking HiMotive and I had received a contract as well as information on how much I was supposed to put down for the deposit ($160) soon after I had decided to proceed with this vendor. I didn’t hear much at all for about 5 months after I had booked about a year to 10 months out from the wedding. I received a quick text from David and was told to download everything for the wedding in the app Vibo. I did just that, I had messaged him once and got a response but started to get a little worried once it was a few months out and still heard nothing. So I emailed David to ask general questions that our coordinator needed and got no response. Then I decided to text him and waited a few days but eventually got a response (this was about 3 months before the wedding). As time went on it become 23 days before the wedding and I still hadn’t heard from David AT ALL and I was always the one to reach out when I did have any questions. So I texted him to let him know that I would be taking my service elsewhere mainly for the lack of communication. David answered immediately, which I found odd considering I was getting delayed responses up until that text was sent. I was then offered to do a FaceTime call AFTER this text to “go over all the details and speak about what my complaints were”. However, I declined because I was extremely upset and also panicking with needing to find a new DJ. I understand vendors are busy and I was very patient. However, all the other vendors I booked were extremely communicative, personable, helpful and most importantly provided me with WONDERFUL service. If you book HiMotive just be prepared to possibly feel like your event isn’t important to him. We did find a DJ before the wedding and it was so refreshing to have such a different experience than I did with HiMotive.

From start to finish, they made sure that we were aware of the next activities, were timely with speeches and most importantly, played great music and were just so easy to work with! Our guests loved the photo booth and it’s so great to have all of the photos from our day. We would recommend HiMotive Entertainment to everyone looking for a DJ! David (DJ Motiv) and my event coordinator were so helpful with ensuring everything went smoothly and sticking to the timeline while also maintaining some flexibility. My guests loved the music and I appreciated how independent they were with keeping the night going. They also offer a lot of upgrades that you can add to your package which I thought was neat! We went with the photo booth and let me tell you, it was definitely worth it. Would highly recommend this company to anyone and everyone!
