Congratulations! If you are reading this, then you are about to embark upon the wonderful journey of marriage. I get asked why do I (an estate planning lawyer) want to be a wedding officiant. The answer is quite simple. I LOVE WEDDINGS!
Hi. I am Ken Eisner and am excited to help you create a once in a lifetime and memorable experience because that is what your wedding should be. Even if you want a ceremony that is short and simple doesn't mean it can't be personal and meaningful. I make it unique by learning about you and reaching out to your family and friends to make it especially personal. I attempt to combine the perfect amount of the personal touch, along with warmth and humor (I do improvisational comedy as a hobby) so that your friends and family know what a wonderful couple you are. I typically spend about 15 hours preparing each ceremony.
I embrace inclusive ceremonies for all couples, including those of diverse faiths and sexual orientation. My ceremonies include LGBTQ+, non-denominational, interfaith (other than Steelers-Ravens, of course), secular, and Jewish wedding celebrations ( I love to help facilitate a successful hora as well).
While I am based in the Pittsburgh area, I will go anywhere to make your ceremony special and love destination weddings! Also, check out my website at www.kenimarryyou.com.
My fee depends upon the type of ceremony, rehearsal and geographical limitations but my standard fee is $900 and $1000 with a rehearsal which I highly recommend. I know that this is a bit more than the standard charge but it is due to demand, the limited number of ceremonies I accept, the amount of time I spend preparing for your special day and quite frankly, I am looking to work with couples that care about the ceremony as well as the celebration. Ken was the perfect choice for our private ceremony. He took the time to get to know us and reached to family and friends to learn more about our relationship. Thank you to Ken our officiant for being the best officiant ever. He worked really hard to make things personalized for us and made sure to schedule video calls and communicate with us throughout the process making sure every detail he had was correct. He had a ton of brilliant ideas/ insight we would’ve never knew about without him and he was extremely supportive, funny and understanding of everything going on. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was the way we wanted it to be. He even sent a questionnaire for us to fill out to get to know us better and reached out to multiple people of our choosing to add their point of views on us. Honestly he was worth every single penny and more. He made sure to talk to our DJ and Photographer beforehand too so I didn’t have to stress about coordinating everyone together which I appreciate more than words can express.

I cannot recommend Ken enough. He truly exceeded all of our expectations and went above and beyond to make our ceremony special. He is kind and authentic and genuinely cares about the couples that he works with. He took the time to really get to know us and our story and even reached out to our family and friends to incorporate little snippets of our story from their viewpoints into the ceremony. Ken is amazing and takes the time to really get to know the couples he is working with. Our ceremony was beautiful, and he did a great job of making it very special. We loved how Ken took the time to speak with the people close to us in order to better understand us as a couple. It was so special to us that he shared stories and perspectives of loved ones in the ceremony. This helped to calm our nerves and keep the ceremony very light hearted while still being beautiful. Ken I Marry You was everything my wife and I hoped for when looking for a wedding officiant! Through Zoom calls and email, Ken created a personalized ceremony for our day that had the perfect amount of joy, comedic relief, and sentimental feeling to it. Ken was our wedding officiant on 8/26/23, and we could not be luckier that we came across his website and profile on the Knot and that he agreed to officiate our wedding! From the beginning when it came to our ceremony, we wanted everyone to be able to share in our story and what makes us "us." We wanted to have some fun with it and also have those sentimental moments that mattered. Ken totally understood this from the start. After talking with us and learning about us, he reached out to friends and family to learn more about our relationship. He took the time to check in with us and ask us some of our input, but he really took the reigns with constructing the ceremony, which was so comforting considering the millions of other things you worry about with wedding planning. We had total confidence in him, and he delivered way more than we could have expected. Everyone was engaged during the ceremony, laughing and tearing up at times. We got SO many compliments after the wedding and still are about how nice our ceremony was! We couldn't recommend Ken enough. He truly gives this his all and you can feel how much he cares about your love story.

When wedding planning, it’s very easy to get bogged down with all the mood board pinning, color selection, dress shopping and general decision making so much so that if there is one thing that gets pushed to the bottom of the “to-do” list it’s selecting your officiant.
This is however, NOT, one of the things my wife and I procrastinated and boy am I glad because the officiant, Ken specifically, made our day.
After interviewing many officiants with no noticeable spark and general lack of interest we scheduled a meeting with Ken of Ken, I Marry You? as we love a good pun. From the very moment we got on the Zoom call with Ken we knew he was the one. He was attentive and inquisitive about us, our love and what we were looking for in a ceremony. Unlike many others it didn’t feel like he was just checking off boxes and putting us on his “to-do” list.
After booking with Ken we stayed in email communication over the next few month allowing him to get to know us. We had bonded over a love of concerts on our first call and even had the opportunity to meet up with Ken in person. As part of his package, Ken took time reaching out to some of our closest friends and family members to get their thoughts on our marriage. He then took their words and intertwined them beautifully into the ceremony. It was amazing. Ken described our love story PERFECTLY. The ceremony was filled with so much energy, love, and togetherness. Not even an exaggeration, every single person at our wedding said it was the best, most heartfelt ceremony they’ve ever attended and there was not a dry eye in the room.
If you are looking for an officiant look no further - Ken is it. We can’t thank him enough for everything he did - his professionalism, his attention to detail, his hilarious jokes - he’s worth every penny and more and we’d highly recommend Ken to anyone looking into wedding services!

Ken was our officiant for our recent wedding 5/13/23 and we are so happy to have had him as a huge part of our day! He made the process fun and comfortable, he really cares about getting to know the couple and that’s such an important part to us. Ken did a phenomenal job with our ceremony. He really took the the time to learn our story of how we met and did a great job of hitting all of the main points. He kept it short and sweet but added a very nice personal touch that made our ceremony really special. A lot of guests have told us our ceremony was the best one they have ever been to. We don't think we could ever thank Ken enough for making our ceremony so special! He knocked it out of the park! He really took the time to get to know us as a couple by meeting with us several times before the wedding, having us fill out couple questionnaires, and reaching out to our family and friends to get their insights regarding our love story. He told our story in such a heartwarming and honest way there was not a dry eye in the house (all happy tears of course! lol). It was truly a magical ceremony filled with laughs and heartwarming testaments from our loved ones. Kenny was nothing short of incredible and we couldn't have asked for a better person to marry us! We knew we wanted someone who knew us as a couple and could capture our love to share with everyone, and Ken went above and beyond with that. He scheduled many zoom calls, just to connect with us and hear stories about us as a couple. He paid attention to every detail and incorporated the perfect balance of humor, love, and sincerity in our ceremony. He even reached out to our wedding party to get some words from them, which was incredibly touching. Hi! I am blessed to have an amazing wife Jodi and two phenomenal daughters Carly and Jamie and two great dogs, Riley and Lily. I was raised in Pittsburgh. I went to Penn State where I announced play by play football. I then went to George Washington University for law school. I have several hobbies, including doing improvisational comedy and making creative but often awful drinks. A dear cousin of mine asked me to officiate her wedding. While I expected it to be a one and done experience, I enjoyed it so much and received so much positive feedback that I decided to make it a second career!
