He also sends you every picture that he took, even the ones where some people aren’t looking, which are sometimes my favorites. He and his crew were very easy to work with. It gave us the complete wrong impression of him before we even met him and were actually regretting our decision at one point. But, once we met him the day of the wedding, everything was just fine. He was very easy going and open to suggestions and had the pictures to us the next week! We were so surprised and even more when we saw them. We relived our day all over again. We highly recommend him but would suggest phone calls with him instead of emails.

ok over our wedding day schedule and make suggestions as to what needed adjusting to fit everything together with a nice flow. Ken and his wife, Julia, arrived as scheduled for our wedding with big smiles on their faces. They jumped in and helped out as we finished up getting ready for the ceremony. Ken was like a ninja, always appearing in a new spot to snap a photo, as the ceremony happened. Our ceremony was cut short by a sudden downpour but Ken and Julia hung in there and got shots of us running away in the rain. After the wedding festivities we went downtown Akron to take some additional shots of the artistic variety. Ken did a phenomenal job with these photos. He and Julia knew numerous spots to take really cool photos. We dodged the rain here and there but were still able to get in everything. I received my photos on discs within a week of the wedding. The pictures are fantastic. Ken did an excellent job retouching them as well as just an overall fabulous job shooting the photos. The artistic shoots we did in Akron turned out beautiful. I highly recommend him!

traight forward on what the package included and he answered questions quickly via email (sometimes almost within minutes). One aspect that slightly bothered me, was the extreme of "tooting his own horn" he did during email responses. Yes--he is VERY talented, and has many accomplishments and awards for his work, but it can come off as arrogant after awhile. This may simply be a way of self-promotion, but every email response went from the answer to his history of success. Other than that, Ken (and his wife) were incredible. They arrived on time the day of the wedding and captured just about everything we wanted. We have many photos that look as if we are "famous" models. Compliment after compliment have been given by all that have viewed our shots--truly works of art. He is a very funny guy, seriously full of endless energy. (Side note, make sure you reserve two spots at the reception for him and his partner for whatever meal you are serving your guests--keep in mind, he is on his feet all day and will not be pleased with a Ham and Cheese sandwich (as he told us lol)and plus it is in your contract). Great guy though. He definitely dedicates his life to making your wedding shots worth the money. Hands down, the best in Ohio!

He was extremely easy to work with and very passionate about his work, which makes sure he gets you the best results. Additionally, Ken provides you the rights to all of your photos and a copy of all photos. We received 300+ photos for our 1 hour engagement session and 6 disks of our wedding photos, including 900 photos that were retouched at no additional cost. We loved all of the photos and would gladly work with Ken again. You will not get this experience any where else!

wife/partner are more than photographers. they are coordinators, artists, planners, and therapists. That is just there service side. Our photos are phenominal! They got every single shot imaginable and the ones we never even dreamed of. They were everywhere for the shots but they blend into the crowd so our guests never felt like their view or experience was interrupted. In that moment between ceremony and reception when we were getting a few family photos and I was starving; they had snacks for me! when I was about to cry because my dad was missing right when we were supposed to walk down the aisle his wife calmed me down while Ken found him. They did everything you want a photographer to do and then more. He was super fast to respond to any email inquiries and I had my photos within a week! The pictures are to die for! Ken's color theory is stunning! He sees things I did not! He has an eye for design and a knack for capturing moments. He took a picture of our first dance that looks staged. My husband actually had to ask me when we "posed" for that picture. Ken is THAT good! If I could do it all over and plan the whole thing again I would have changed many things. I would NEVER change choosing Ken Love!

for detail as well for the big picture and Ken's extremely talented photographic abilities make them an excellent pair. Plus, they were incredibly fun, laughing and joking the whole day, keeping the entire Bridal Party (including my 5 year old niece) entertained and excited for the event to come. We received our completely retouched pictures in less than 2 weeks, including the disks, and from the few people that we've shown so far, everyone has been amazed and impressed with the details and quality of the photography. Even prior to our wedding, Ken and Julia were instrumental in helping me nail down the timeline for the day to ensure there would be enough time for everything. Three hours might (and in some ways still does) sound like a lot of time for pictures, but if you're wrangling a medium sized or large-ish Bridal Party, you need all that time to make sure you get every great shot possible. And once posed shots really start Ken and Julia are amazingly time efficient. They were wonderful and I know having them there on what could have been an incredibly stressful day really did make everything so much easier and more fun. If you do plan to book them, do it as early as possible and don't delay. They book up fast!!!!!

It snowed... at first I was bummed but them Ken got some amazing pictures outside in the snow. I was just a smidge nervous prior to my wedding because I did not meet him or talk to him on the phone unlike the 5000 other people that you have to meet prior to your wedding but have no worries because there really is no reason to meet... he is great and a total pro... and his wife too! I would highly recommend him to other brides.

espond to email, text, and phone calls at ALL hours of the day/night. Half of the time I never even set my phone down before he would respond. I don't know how he does it with all the weddings and events he does. The quality of the photos are above and beyond but what really sold me was how personable and friendly both of them were with us and the family. I love all of my photos and had them all (5,440) 4 days after the wedding! Some may view the price as a little high but I disagree! Ken and Julie give you the best customer service, flexibility, creativeness, and ALL rights to every photo! To me, those things are priceless especially for our special day! Flexibility doesn't even describe how awesome they were on my day. I had an extremely tight schedule to begin with but when my morning got delayed by 2 hours due to hair and make-up, they seriously rocked it out! They had my family posed and waiting for me as soon as I was done, they had all the spots picked out for the photos, and Julie helped me run all around with my big dress!! You will NOT be disappointed with these two! I loved having both of them especially for the first looks and special moments like catching my mom crying. Having both of them at different angles at all times captured my day perfectly. I will always use them in the future and I have to say it - I LOVE the loves! I mean how can you not book them for your day based on their name alone!! :) Honestly, the best money I spent on the best people!

o, NY. Back in the fall of 2012, we had Ken take our engagement photos in Ohio, figuring that it would be too complicated to travel to Buffalo to have a photographer do a engagement/wedding package (I should probably mention that I read reviews on over 25 other photographers from the area before we decided to go with Ken because of all the nice things everyone else had to say about him). Bill and I were FLOORED with his creativity and talent, our engagement session was quick and painless, and we had almost 500 fantastic pictures! The hardest part was picking which ones we liked the best! We looked at many wedding photographers in Buffalo and I even had my family meet with a number of them, but we couldn’t find anything comparable to the photos we had from our engagement shoot – SO, we decided to take Ken and Julie with us to Buffalo! Julie and Ken arrived at my parent’s house before we had even gotten back from the salon and got pictures starting from the second we stepped out of the car and stayed all the way until our sparkler sendoff! Being in NY, they were unfamiliar with all of the locations we had chosen for pictures – they were quick, efficient and creative in picking unique shots for all of our pictures, the true test of talented photographers! They were patient with our crazy, rowdy wedding party and found ways to make each and every person comfortable in their pictures and look fantastic! Julie had so many helpful tips throughout the day to make things easier for us (I must have thought to myself at least 15 times throughout the day “Thank God we have her here!”), her and Ken truly make a wonderful team. They weren’t intrusive at all with our ceremony or our reception, but still were able to take fantastic pictures! Looking back, hiring Ken and Julie was one of the best decisions we made – there isn’t anyone else we would have rather had with us for the day! Ken and Julie’s patience, professionalism, skill, artistic eye, and great sense of humor were all deeply appreciated. Thank you both for everything you have done to make our wedding a day we will never forget, especially when we go back through our gorgeous pictures!

across Ken’s site, I knew I had found mine! Ken and his wife Julie are innately talented in capturing the details, emotions, and people that make up the special moments of the wedding day. They are extremely experienced with weddings and not only took breathtaking photos but helped our day run smoothly. Ken is quick to responding to messages or calls which is very reassuring and helpful since, as the bride, I had many vendors to keep in touch with. I also loved that he was open to any ideas I wanted to try. I threw in a very random location that I wanted to take photos at after the ceremony and Ken was completely open to it and came up with many creative and fun shots I would never had thought of for the location. We have been getting compliments non-stop about how unique, creative, beautiful, and fun our pictures are. We absolutely love them!
