Kendall spent the last twelve years in the hospitality business working her way up through the ranks with Hyatt Hotels. She became one of the youngest Director of Events in the company and was named Director of the Year in 2016. In 2017 she was named one of the “50 Women to Watch” by F&B Magazine. During her tenure she has sold, planned, and executed events from two guests to 1,200 guests. With her experience she has great knowledge of the sales process as well as the operation and execution, which allows her to see the event as a whole through a professional’s eye, with no detail overlooked.

After our wedding, we kept saying to each other over and over how every single piece of the event exceeded our expectations. We are both amazed at how well everything came together on the day -- the venue was perfect, the florals were incredible, the table settings were beautiful, the band was astonishingly good. Kendall and her team deserve the lion's share of the credit for the work they put into making this day not just special but truly extraordinary for us. We would have been lost without her and can't imagine placing our trust in anyone else for this day. Her ability to find vendors that matched the vibe we were going for - - often with only vague information from us - - is unparalleled.

The best decision we made during our wedding planning process was hiring Kendall to be our wedding planner. She came highly recommended by our venue, and after just one meeting with her getting to know her background, experience and personality, we knew she was the perfect fit for us and we were so excited to get to work with her. She is calm, easy going, fun and kind, while also being so professional, extremely organized and highly knowledgeable in every inch of the wedding industry. Right away, she came to us with a very functional and easy-to-use planning tool, great vendor recommendations and pricing comparisons to ensure we stayed within our budget, and design and vision boards to help conceptualize our big day, which made our lives so easy when it came to making all of the big and small decisions. We also had monthly check-ins leading up to the wedding day to make sure we stayed on track and nothing fell through the cracks. I can't say enough about her responsiveness and communication style, the amount of care she puts into her clients is so special.
On the day of the wedding (and the hectic, busy days leading up), Kendall and her team executed everything so perfectly that my Husband and I could truly sit back and enjoy the day, without having to worry about anything. We even had the last minute challenge of rain on the forecast leading up to our wedding day, causing us to have to secure a big tent for our reception just 5 days before. I have no clue what we would have done without Kendall in this situation, she helped get the tent quotes, finalize the load-in schedule, adjust the seating layouts, etc. all in the 11th hour. With her help, our Plan B truly felt like Plan A all along. The day went so smoothly, from vendor arrival & setup, to pre-ceremony moments, to guest arrivals throughout the entirety of the evening, and Kendall was there through it all. Our guests are still raving about how perfect the day was for them too, which means so much to us. She made our entire wedding experience stress-free and truly enjoyable, and we couldn't be more thankful. Most of all, we really enjoyed getting to know Kendall for the human that she is, and we already miss talking to her on a regular basis.

Kendall is amazing. I am so happy we chose her to be our wedding planner. Wedding planning is stressful, but she is the calm in the storm and helps guide planning. She thinks of details I never would have thought about. She helped in every vendor meeting, asking good questions to help guide decisions. She picked out vendor options based on our budgets and needs that we could choose from. Seriously, she made wedding planning so much easier. On the day of our wedding, everything was seamless. She organized the flow of the day, vendors, and set up everything for us. My new husband and I did not need to worry about anything. She is worth every penny! Book Kendall!!!

Absolute trust in Kendall for our special day! A day of coordinator or full service wedding planner is someone you should be able to 'real talk' with and Kendall is exactly that and supportive through it all. Kendall was the best planner my husband and I could've hoped for! She was always available via text or call, and was our biggest advocate when communicating with our vendors. We had consistent touchbases to make sure everything was going well in the planning process (which took almost 2 years!). Our wedding day went so, so smoothly because she was able to resolve any small hiccups without me knowing, so my husband and I could just have fun. She also planned the full timeline and executed it flawlessly. We are forever grateful to Kendall for helping us plan the perfect wedding day, and we will miss our video calls with her! We hired Kendall to assist with our decor and design for our wedding. She was so helpful and easy to work with! She offers great perspective and shared a ton of ideas for us to work through when planning our wedding. Kendall is easily the best decision we ever made during our wedding planning process. She is more than a wedding planner. She is a friend, therapist, juggler, planner, artist, and incredible person. It is hard to find someone as detail-oriented as me (I am the most Type A bride ever), and she alleviated any concerns or worries throughout the entire process. She goes above and beyond for herself, her clients, and her event(s). I truly cannot think of a single negative aspect about her or her business, she is an angel! Kendall and her team were absolutely AMAZING! My husband and I have pretty chaotic schedules and live out of state but Kendall made planning a wedding in Sonoma, CA feel so seamless even when inevitable hiccups happened. She truly thought of all the little details to help us be prepared and stress free on our day of. Then on the day of, we had the best time just enjoying ourselves and our loved ones. This review is way overdue! Kendall by far was the best investment of my wedding! She made everything easy peasy for me. I didn’t feel stress nor worry about anything at all. Even the day of the wedding, I was at eased and just enjoyed my day. My husband and I couldn’t ask for a better planner who made our vision and dream wedding come true. Everything was perfect and very thankful for the hard work. Our families have told me themselves how impressed they are of Kendall and how she made sure everything was perfect for me. We are forever grateful and highly recommend her! Every bride needs a Kendall in their wedding planning!!

When I was on my search for a wedding planner, I knew exactly what I wanted: a planner with vision, great design sensibility, experience, resourcefulness, and most importantly (in our case) that could help us stay organized and could move us along our timeline smoothly. I found literally all of this in Kendall. She is so organized, kind, honest, empathetic, the voice I couldn't have myself in parts of planning, and she made my husband and I feel completely confident in every step of the way. She scouted vendors for us and checked out rentals in person. Our touchbase meetings were always productive and fun/funny.. I always looked forward to them and actually miss them! Lol. My butterflies started up the month before the wedding and I told Kendall. She gave me simple and impactful advice that I held on to throughout the wedding weekend, and I kid you not, that's really all I needed to avoid stressing. Our wedding turned out beautifully. After meeting up with some of our guests in the month after our wedding, we've heard this is the first wedding they've been to that felt perfect - nothing delayed, nothing wrong, beautiful vignettes and surroundings, and everyone felt the love, intimacy, cheer and warmth we wanted. We went with her partial package, and an additional event, but in hindsight, we should have gone all the way with her full planning package! Kendall, you will always be a part of our story and we couldn't have had such a beautiful wedding weekend, nor had the perfect planning experience, without you and your team. <3 I hope to get to work with her again some day (not on a wedding haha), but perhaps our anniversary ;)

I do not know what we would've done without Kendall and her team (honestly, probably eloped). My husband (EEK!) + I dealt with a lot of issues with our venue and vendors leading up to and post big day and Kendall was (and continues to be) a fantastic person to lean on. She is so organized and professional and handled every hiccup so we didn't really have to. She also treated us like friends, which really made the whole process more enjoyable. Our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be (and more)! Kendall impressed our whole (huge) wedding party during the rehearsal - she got us in and out swiftly, and we all knew what we needed to do on the big day. The day itself was also not without hiccups (again, vendors) but Kendall made sure we were aware of all issues and kept everything on track. Again, my friends were impressed that Kendall and her staff handled everything, and that we didn't have to clean up after the event! She has been an advocate and friend throughout this process and I am so grateful that she agreed to work with us. She was the best investment we made for such an important party. Thank you, lady!

Kendall was absolutely amazing to work with. As a wedding photographer, finding wedding planners to work alongside who are kind, organized, and carry a great vibe all day is hard. Kemal and her team were on their A-game all day and a joy to work alongside. They dodged so many issues with the weather, but kept their cool throughout it all. I would happily recommend/refer Kendall to my couples in the future and hope we get a chance to work together again! The truth is, she will absolutely take care of you and that’s what is so important when finding the right team to support you on your day.

I cannot speak highly enough of Kendall and her team. Not only is Kendall a fantastic planner, but she is an even better human-kind, patient, compassionate, and detail oriented!
Kendall went above and beyond to keep us feeling calm and supported during our wedding planning process. She was incredibly responsive via email, text, call etc. She was always happy to answer any and all of my questions.
We also had our videographer cancel two weeks out from our wedding. Kendall found us a new videographer who available and was even CHEAPER than our original vendor!! I mean-what an amazing last-minute find!!!
Kendall gave us the wedding of our dreams and I could not be more thankful!

Kendall is the best. We hired her to be out month of coordinator because we wanted to be really involved in the planning, and we felt so confident handing everything over to her once the month of the wedding hit. We had a couple of bumps in the wedding day and we didn't even know until after the fact. My husband and I were able to truly enjoy the entire day without worrying about fielding questions, setting up our vision, and keeping to our timeline. We were really able to just enjoy the day! Clean-up the next day was great too because she put everything in one place at the end of the night. We definitely recommend Kendall <3

Kendall did an amazing job and I give her the highest recommendation for her performance.
Anyone who needs a planner for their upcoming wedding, Kendall should be your first choice.
Her preparation was second to none and it paid off as everything went exceptionally well on the big day.
During the event she was in the background making sure everything went well with her behind the scenes guidance.
No one noticed that she was present, but without her tremendous help, we couldn't have had the perfect event.

Hiring Kendall was by far the best thing we did for our wedding! From the very first meeting with her we appreciated her calm, kind and practical demeanor. We had nothing planned yet when we first contacted Kendall and she found us the most amazing venue that checked all of our boxes and guided us through the entire process. She kept us on track and reminded us of all sorts of little things to think through that we never would have caught ourselves. The day of the actual wedding, Kendall was just as amazing. Both my husband and I felt incredibly calm all day and in the days leading up to the wedding because we knew that everything was taken care of. We had the time of our lives at our wedding because we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Kendall made the wedding go even more smoothly than we had hoped and coordinated with all the vendors. I had numerous family members comment on how great she is and I had many guests tell me afterwards that they couldn’t believe how organized and fun the whole day was. I don’t have a single bad thing to say about Kendall or our experience working with her. Beyond her amazing skills as a wedding planner, she is also just a genuinely good human and we really enjoyed getting to know her throughout the entire process. Kendall was recommended to us by friends for our backyard wedding and we couldn't be happier that we went with her.
From the very beginning, Kendall demonstrated a high level of integrity, suggesting we go with the partial planning package rather than the full planning since we already had the venue and she could tell we wanted to be involved. She could have easily taken more money for the same level of work and we appreciate her honesty for that.
As far as the actual planning goes, she was very helpful in findings a variety of vendors, something that was critical in putting on a larger backyard wedding. From food to rentals and everything in between, she had a wide array of contacts for us to choose from and helped initiate conversations with them as needed.
The only complaint we had throughout the process was feeling like there were times we didn't meet or talk enough (monthly meetings). In hindsight, this is because there is a natural lull in the wedding planning process once all the big decisions are made. Keep this in mind with whatever planner you go with. They're present, just not needed as much at certain times in the process.
When it came down to the final weeks, Kendall was INCREDIBLE. We had some issues with various vendors and she was right there to put out every fire on our behalf, including finding a new dance floor 9 days before the ceremony and having all table linens sent to her house so she could personally prepare all of them.
Overall our wedding day went unbelievably smooth. We have gotten so many compliments from guests on how well everything flowed and what a great time they had. Kendall and her team are a huge reason for that. We couldn't have been happier with Kendall and highly recommend her for your event.

Kendall was simply amazing!!! From the first phone call I knew instantly it would be a perfect fit for us. She was a dream to work with and I couldn't of asked for a better support for all things wedding planning as she has so much experience and guided us through the whole process while making helpful suggestions.
The day of the wedding I knew I trusted her 100% with all details, setup and vendors as her attention to detail, organization and eye for design was always spot on! There are not enough words to describe how phenomenal Kendall is as a Wedding Planner!!! I will be forever grateful to have found her and have her part of this wedding planning journey. From the moment I first spoke with her, I knew I had found my person and we were in the best of hands. She made the entire process so fun and easy and I just absolutly loved working with her. She went above and BEYOND on our Wedding Day, being at the venue from 8am until midnight making sure every little detail was perfect for our day. We hired Kendall as our day-of-coordinator for our vow renewal at Park Winters this past weekend. She was an absolute dream to work with. From the first moment we met her, we were impressed by her organized, professional, confident, competent, kind and calm nature. This first impression was upheld, if not exceeded, the entire time we worked with her. She is extraordinary and made our special day seamless. We can't even tell you whether there were any hiccups in the flow/timeline/vendor delivery - if there were, Kendall handled them with efficiency and without us even catching wind of it. We are so glad that we hired Kendall to help us plan our wedding in October 2021. My husband and I knew we were going to have a bigger wedding and coming out of COVID with us both working full time, that was a really daunting task. But the moment we signed up with Kendall, she knew exactly what to do and helped us handle EVERYTHING from coordinating with our vendors to maintaining a calm, collected energy day of (note that Kendall was also super pregnant the day of our wedding and that never slowed her down). Kendall was hands-down the best money we spent on our wedding. We first found our venue, then decided we should explore getting a planner, and Kendall came recommended by our venue. We hired her 11 months prior to our wedding. She was profoundly helpful in a number of ways but first and foremost, her knowledge of and relationships with vendors in the Northern California area. She had recommendations for vendors of all types, would give us multiple options and allow us to review and decide. Every additional vendor that we hired because of Kendall turned out to be phenomenal. There are many details to keep straight with planning such a big and important event, and Kendall never missed a single one. She also gave us wonderful advice at every turn; she is so experienced and has helpful suggestions for any idea or concept you might have. She does a great job of meeting you where you are at, supporting you in making your own decisions, and for those reasons and more, I never once felt pressured. We were totally clueless as to how to plan a wedding, and Kendall made us feel so at ease and organized our thoughts and concerns with the skill of a true professional. She is kind, personable, and very easy to talk to- I can't recommend her enough! On top of all of that, she was a calm, cool and collected presence at our wedding. She kept the night on track and ran the whole event with precision, checking in on my partner and I multiple times. Our bridal party, families and even some guests made comments to us after the wedding, sharing how impressed they were with Kendall and her team. I would absolutely hire her again! She helped us work through some kinks in our plan and created a timeline that allowed our day to flow seamlessly. She also coordinated all of our vendor arrivals, which was such a blessing. I highly recommend working with Kendall. She's so sweet, prompt, and will work tirelessly to make your day amazing!!

Booking Kendall was the best decision we ever made! After multiple postponements and a location change, we needed to plan a wedding on a much tighter budget and timeframe. During our initial phone screening with Kendall, it quickly became clear that she was the perfect person to plan our dream wedding. Throughout the planning process, Kendall was always one step ahead--reaching out to our vendor and communicating changes to ensure we were getting exactly what we had asked for. She was always so calm--but we never mistook her chill personality for not taking her job seriously; if anything, having a calm yet detailed and determined wedding planner was the perfect recipe for a well organized wedding. And when our big weekend finally arrived, it was better than we could have ever expected. Even with all of the conversations with Kendall and reviewing every detail, I still wasn't how everything would come together. Upon entering our venue, every detail we discussed was accounted for and in the right place. It was like Kendall had taken all of the ideas that were in my head and brought them to life. I probably went up and hugged her multiple times that night, because we had lost all hope that our special day would ever happen; until that night. Kendall made all of our dreams come true, and I recommend her over and over. Please do yourself a favor and BOOK HER!

I think the best decision we made for the wedding was hiring Kendall to be our wedding planner! She knew exactly how to organize our special day to be the way we wanted it. With zoom meetings and a few meetings in person, she made my now-husband and I feel more prepared. Through her website we were provided a break down of our budget to keep track of our spending. The website also gave us other helpful tools to use as well. From August 2020 to April 2021, Kendall made the whole planning process go smoothly. She was considerate, detail oriented, and also very calming during the "unknown" moments. We enjoyed working with her and sharing our special day with her!

I will always recommend Kendall Melissa Events!! Kendall was absolutely amazing. We ran in to some big hiccups for our wedding, which included having to postpone our original date. Kendall helped us through it and made sure our new date went off without any problems. During our wedding she was always right there making sure we were comfortable all while managing everything going on. She truly works her magic to make sure your day is everything you could imagine.

She understood our vision and made our dream wedding come true! I came to her with a simple idea and she worked her magic and brought it to life. It was the PERFECT wedding and it's all because of Kendall Melissa Events.

We’ve had 2 daughters’ weddings in a short period of time, a third daughter is currently in her wedding planning process and Kendall has been beside us throughout the wedding planning of all 3! One wedding was a destination, one was in town and this next wedding is a destination as well. Kendall helped locate possible venues for each, called the venue coordinators and confirmed prices, availability, what was provided, what we were responsible for, what we could expect and sent us a detailed email with everything listed and broken down. She then scheduled an initial meeting with each venue, complete with a detailed questionnaire for us to take to that meeting. Once the venue was chosen she proceeded to coordinate absolutely everything; researching and talking with rental vendors, caterers, bakeries, bands and/or DJ’s, photographers and hair salons, not to mention locating and coordinating accommodations for our guests. She offered decorating ideas and tips, provided a realistic budget, projected costs for each facet of the wedding and created a spreadsheet to track our vendors with payments made and payment due dates. Kendall responds to any question or concern in a very timely manner, is reassuring, supportive, professional, calm and incredibly organized! Both wedding days were absolutely flawless and we know the next one will be as well!! Thank you, Kendall, for all you did, and are currently doing, to create such beautiful memories for our family!!
