I cannot say enough good things about these two! We could not be happier with John and Becky Kendelhardt of Kendelhardt Photography! We found them through The Knot, and from our very first conversation, we knew we had made the right choice. They were incredibly professional, kind, responsive, helpful, and genuinely so easy and enjoyable to work with. We had multiple phone calls and lots of back-and-forth throughout the planning process, and they were always quick to communicate and make sure everyone was on the same page. That made me feel so secure and confident in our choice before we had even met them in person. Our wedding day ended up being very rainy, which changed some of the plans we had originally envisioned, but John and Becky were so flexible and made everything work beautifully. They handled our huge, blended, and somewhat complicated family, along with a large wedding party, so well even while taking family and wedding party photos outside in the rain! They were so calm throughout the entire day, which made everything feel easy and stress-free even though the rain brought some chaos. They also did an incredible job capturing all of the special moments we wanted. They coordinated multiple family first looks and pictures of the wedding party while keeping my husband and me completely separated, giving us a beautiful first touch without seeing each other before the ceremony. They captured so many fun shots throughout the day. The photos themselves are absolutely STUNNING. Our gallery has such a bright, gorgeous feel to it, which was one of my biggest concerns going into the wedding because of how dark and rainy the weather was. They captured such an amazing mix of beautiful portraits, natural candids, scenery, decor, details, and little moments that really tell the story of the entire day. Looking through our gallery genuinely feels like reliving our wedding all over again. We received a handful of sneak peeks the next day, and our full gallery (which included SO many incredible photos) was delivered in about a month and a half. They were amazing people to have alongside us on such an important day, and they delivered a gallery that we will treasure forever. 100000/10 recommend Kendelhardt Photography. I truly could not be happier with John and Becky or with the final product. They were talented, professional, flexible, kind, and just an absolute joy to work with. Owned by husband-and-wife team John and Becky, this business documents romantic occasions in the Rocky Mountains and beyond. Originally from the East Coast, John and Becky decided to move to Colorado to develop their photography business. Hey there, this is John your friendly wedding photog. Since 2014, my wife Becky and I have had the privilege of photographing over 200 amazing weddings. Photography is my life, and I put my all into making my couples wedding day experience be as fun and run as smoothly as possible. When we're not shooting weddings (or sitting in front of the computer editing :)) we love to chill with our beloved pets, travel the world, go see some live music, or binge-watch some netflix! I'm also one of the biggest baseball fans you will ever meet!

uch kind people who really take the time to make sure to get the best photos throughout the day, while also maintaining a calm vibe that helps keep you grounded in all the chaos of the day. From the beginning of the wedding planning process, John was always very prompt and professional in responding to anything we needed! And he helped us plan a beautiful engagement shoot in Golden near Clear Creek and on Lookout Mountain. He had gone to the spot a few days beforehand to scout out good spots for photos, and when we met up with him for the session on Memorial Day when the area was packed with people, he didn't let that affect anything and was still able to get a ton of stunning photos that all make it look like there was absolutely no one around! And leading up to the wedding day, John also went out of his way to meet up with us at our venue, since he hadn't shot there before, to walk around with us and scope out all the beautiful spots for photos. On the wedding day itself, John and Becky did an absolutely fantastic job of thoughtfully navigating everything to make sure that they captured every photo we could possibly want. And they did so while being extremely efficient, organized, and helping us keep the timeline of the day moving smoothly. There truly isn't anything that could have gone better! Our coffee chat appointment was brilliant for setting expectations and helping us wrap our minds around questions we hadn't been thinking about when it came to photos. They were an integral part of making our wedding so unbelievably special, and they captured those moments in a way that somehow feels natural but elevated and beautiful. They are responsive and helpful as professionals and also great people, which is such a wonderful and rare thing to have when involving folks for a once in a lifetime important event. n recommended walking around Fort Collins, CO for our engagement session to take city pictures as well and we absolutely love the way that those pictures turned out! He also traveled to all of our locations beforehand in Estes Park, CO so that he knew where he was going the day of. We loved that he did this as it made the day much less stressful for us! We love our pictures and would highly recommend John for both engagement and wedding photos!

us that wasn't great. From the first email we sent to John to learn about their services to the day he sent us the final photos, we were really happy. When we contacted them, they were just getting ready to move to Colorado and we felt a little hesitant because they wouldn't know the area and hadn't worked with anyone we knew directly. Our hesitation was wasted energy. John met with us before the wedding to ensure they had all they needed and it helped us feel more comfortable on the big day. They got amazing pictures for us from when we were getting ready, the ceremony, reception, and the exit. They were intentional with where the pictures were taken, timing of sunlight, and I'm sure a ton of other things that I don't even know about. What we appreciated the most was how they made everyone at our wedding feel comfortable and truly contributed to the formal yet relaxed and fun vibe we were going for. I am confident that if you get the Kendelhardts on your wedding team, you won't have to worry about the pictures anymore.

ge, you’ll be happy you did. John & Becky did an AMAZING job on our wedding. When we saw their photos we knew they had to capture our wedding. Stylistically we just clicked! Even though they were Pittsburgh based (at the time, now they are in CO) they were very organized and we had an open line of communication. Photos were returned to us in a timely manner, and every single one is perfect. John and Becky met myself and the bridesmaids at our hair and makeup location offsite for additional photos, and were taking photos until we got in the getaway car. Every important memory was captured, and had multiple to choose from!!! I can’t not say enough great things about Kendelhardt Photography!!

he wedding day. John was incredibly responsive during the planning and organizing of the wedding day. He really helped me out with figuring out the timeline and extra things I wouldn't have even thought out. The wedding day was a dream come true! John really had an understanding of what our wants were and was more then accommodating to get shots of the first look, snow fall, even shotgunning a beer! John was quick to organize the wedding party for the photos and open to all of the pictures we were looking for. Becky also was great at organizing the wedding party, setting up different ideas, and holding 6 bouquets at one time. John made sure to call us a few times as we approached the big day to go over all of the details, many of which I hadn't even considered. We felt fully confident that the wedding day would go smoothly, and it surely did! It feels so natural posing and being in front of the camera with them. I was grateful that John had asked me what "must-have" photos I wanted because they made sure to capture everything.
