We went to RMNP at John's advice and I couldn't have dreamed of more beautiful pictures and scenery. Then for our wedding day Becky and John were like having old friends there, but who are truly amazing at their craft! They navigated our family dynamics like true professionals and got an ungodly amount of family photos we asked for like it was a breeze. n recommended walking around Fort Collins, CO for our engagement session to take city pictures as well and we absolutely love the way that those pictures turned out! He also traveled to all of our locations beforehand in Estes Park, CO so that he knew where he was going the day of. We loved that he did this as it made the day much less stressful for us! us that wasn't great. From the first email we sent to John to learn about their services to the day he sent us the final photos, we were really happy. When we contacted them, they were just getting ready to move to Colorado and we felt a little hesitant because they wouldn't know the area and hadn't worked with anyone we knew directly. Our hesitation was wasted energy. John met with us before the wedding to ensure they had all they needed and it helped us feel more comfortable on the big day. They got amazing pictures for us from when we were getting ready, the ceremony, reception, and the exit. They were intentional with where the pictures were taken, timing of sunlight, and I'm sure a ton of other things that I don't even know about. What we appreciated the most was how they made everyone at our wedding feel comfortable and truly contributed to the formal yet relaxed and fun vibe we were going for. I am confident that if you get the Kendelhardts on your wedding team, you won't have to worry about the pictures anymore.

ge, you’ll be happy you did. John & Becky did an AMAZING job on our wedding. When we saw their photos we knew they had to capture our wedding. Stylistically we just clicked! Even though they were Pittsburgh based (at the time, now they are in CO) they were very organized and we had an open line of communication. Photos were returned to us in a timely manner, and every single one is perfect. John and Becky met myself and the bridesmaids at our hair and makeup location offsite for additional photos, and were taking photos until we got in the getaway car. Every important memory was captured, and had multiple to choose from!!! I can’t not say enough great things about Kendelhardt Photography!!

he wedding day. John was incredibly responsive during the planning and organizing of the wedding day. He really helped me out with figuring out the timeline and extra things I wouldn't have even thought out. The wedding day was a dream come true! John really had an understanding of what our wants were and was more then accommodating to get shots of the first look, snow fall, even shotgunning a beer! John was quick to organize the wedding party for the photos and open to all of the pictures we were looking for. Becky also was great at organizing the wedding party, setting up different ideas, and holding 6 bouquets at one time. It was a pleasure and joy to spend my wedding day with John and Becky there to capture it!

John made sure to call us a few times as we approached the big day to go over all of the details, many of which I hadn't even considered. We felt fully confident that the wedding day would go smoothly, and it surely did! It feels so natural posing and being in front of the camera with them. I was grateful that John had asked me what "must-have" photos I wanted because they made sure to capture everything. We knew that, if we weren't comfortable, our pictures would reflect that. We initially found John through the Knot, and he met with us late one evening to accommodate our work schedules. He made us feel comfortable right away, and we were blown away by the quality of his photos--they were all so fun and unique! Plus, he is comparable with other local photographers, and offered an engagement photo session as a part of one package. We took engagement photos in downtown Pittsburgh, and the experience was so fun! John and his wife, Becky, spent a few hours with us, and were then able to edit and send our photos to us within a few days of our shoot! They were beautiful, and because John gives electronic access to all the photos and you can print them on your own through whatever site you choose, we were able to share them with all of our friends and family easily and affordably! Because our wedding was only two weeks ago, we have not yet received those photos. But the experience the day of was amazing! John and Becky were so helpful, and helped add a calming presence when things were tense due to weather/wrangling wedding party members and family for photos. John's photo ideas were amazing, and we cannot wait to receive the finished products. My husband and I were thrilled with John and Becky, and will recommend them to everyone we meet who shares they are getting married! Thank you both so much!!

During the end of our engagement session, John asked if my husband and I had any other shots we wanted to get in and we did have a few, so John spent a great deal of time making sure we got in all the shots, even when we were past our allotted time frame. John and Becky were such great communicators and were always in contact with us as our wedding day got closer to go over the fine details. My husband and I even had a short phone conference with John a week before our wedding day to discuss our timeline and the plans for the day. On the wedding day, John and Becky were prompt and ready to go. Everything was smooth sailing and nothing ever felt awkward or unnatural while working with them. They made sure to capture candid moments, as well as posed, special moments of my husband and I. We loved John and Becky’s chemistry while working with us. They’d bounce ideas off each other and off of us if they had a cool idea for a shot or pose and my husband and I just rolled with it! John and Becky are super chill, “go with the flow” kind of people, so my husband and I really liked that. We will never forget working with John and Becky. They work so well together and produced beautiful photographs of our day that we will cherish for forever. They will exceed all of your wedding photography expectations!
