John and Becky were phenomenal! Always very responsive, professional, and respectful. Willing to work with our budget and provided many options and solutions. They were amazing the entire process, from our first inquiry to receiving our final photos (which were everything we could’ve asked for)! If we had to do this all over again, we would choose them 1000%. Pictures were one of the most important things for me, and we were not disappointed at all. I already have, and will continue to recommend them!!

From the start of our day in the beautiful Maroon Bells, to our fantastic lunch at French Alpine Bistro, and into a rainy and super fun hike to Crater Lake, John and Becky stuck with us through it all! All while taking the most amazing pictures! It was a ton of fun and we couldn't have asked for a more epic duo to have been with us for the day! John and Becky did a thorough job at capturing every special moment and directing more creative ideas such as a coffee shoot (instead of traditional champagne) and even a hike through the rain! They stayed with our wedding party from 8:30 am to 8:30 pm all in an effort to catch the best morning and evening light for amazing photos. They hiked with us in the rain, on a very rocky trail from Maroon Lake to Crater Lake, Colorado with all their gear. Why one may ask, to capture the best photos. Outstanding!!

John and Becky are the best!! They did both our engagement photos and our wedding photos and we were truly blown away! I didn't know we could look so good!! We were both a little nervous at first when doing our engagement photos and were unsure if it would be awkward, but John was so easy to chat with and gave great direction to make us look natural and photograph well (which doesn't come easy to us!). We went to RMNP at John's advice and I couldn't have dreamed of more beautiful pictures and scenery. Then for our wedding day Becky and John were like having old friends there, but who are truly amazing at their craft! They navigated our family dynamics like true professionals and got an ungodly amount of family photos we asked for like it was a breeze. They were an integral part of making our wedding so unbelievably special, and they captured those moments in a way that somehow feels natural but elevated and beautiful. They are responsive and helpful as professionals and also great people, which is such a wonderful and rare thing to have when involving folks for a once in a lifetime important event. John and Becky are a dream team for photography. From our engagement shoot to our wedding, they were our favorite wedding decision by far. John recommended walking around Fort Collins, CO for our engagement session to take city pictures as well and we absolutely love the way that those pictures turned out! I’m not even sure where to begin! From our engagement photos to capturing our big day, we could not have asked for a better pair than John and Becky. They are easy to get along with and made my husband and I so comfortable in front of the camera. They made our engagement session so fun, neither my husband nor I could stop laughing! The main reason they deserve a full rating from us is that there is not a single part of what the Kendelhardts did for us that wasn't great. From the first email we sent to John to learn about their services to the day he sent us the final photos, we were really happy. When we contacted them, they were just getting ready to move to Colorado and we felt a little hesitant because they wouldn't know the area and hadn't worked with anyone we knew directly. Our hesitation was wasted energy. John met with us before the wedding to ensure they had all they needed and it helped us feel more comfortable on the big day. They got amazing pictures for us from when we were getting ready, the ceremony, reception, and the exit. They were intentional with where the pictures were taken, timing of sunlight, and I'm sure a ton of other things that I don't even know about. What we appreciated the most was how they made everyone at our wedding feel comfortable and truly contributed to the formal yet relaxed and fun vibe we were going for. I am confident that if you get the Kendelhardts on your wedding team, you won't have to worry about the pictures anymore.

Send them a message, you’ll be happy you did. John & Becky did an AMAZING job on our wedding. When we saw their photos we knew they had to capture our wedding. Stylistically we just clicked! Even though they were Pittsburgh based (at the time, now they are in CO) they were very organized and we had an open line of communication. Photos were returned to us in a timely manner, and every single one is perfect. John and Becky met myself and the bridesmaids at our hair and makeup location offsite for additional photos, and were taking photos until we got in the getaway car. Every important memory was captured, and had multiple to choose from!!! I can’t not say enough great things about Kendelhardt Photography!!

From our first meeting to our wedding day, John was extremely attentive to what we were looking for in our wedding photography. John and Becky are amazing. We had an engagement session with John and Becky in July and had a great time. It was perfect to get to know them, and them to get to know us, before the wedding day. John was incredibly responsive during the planning and organizing of the wedding day. He really helped me out with figuring out the timeline and extra things I wouldn't have even thought out. The wedding day was a dream come true! John really had an understanding of what our wants were and was more then accommodating to get shots of the first look, snow fall, even shotgunning a beer! John was quick to organize the wedding party for the photos and open to all of the pictures we were looking for. Becky also was great at organizing the wedding party, setting up different ideas, and holding 6 bouquets at one time. It was a pleasure and joy to spend my wedding day with John and Becky there to capture it!

John and Becky are wonderful! Not only are they amazing photographers, but they are also super cool humans. Our engagement session helped us to ease some of our jitters in front of the camera, and we got some spectacular shots for our save-the-dates, wedding website, and to hang throughout our home. John made sure to call us a few times as we approached the big day to go over all of the details, many of which I hadn't even considered. We felt fully confident that the wedding day would go smoothly, and it surely did! It feels so natural posing and being in front of the camera with them. I was grateful that John had asked me what "must-have" photos I wanted because they made sure to capture everything. I cannot recommend them enough, and I have a feeling that I might be requesting an anniversary shoot in the future!

I wish I could put into words how much this husband and wife team made our day fun and perfect!! John and Becky did our engagement pictures last year and if it was any indication as to how much fun they were then I was not disappointed!! Our wedding was a little more stressful than I had anticipated, but they kept things rolling with the pictures that I asked them to take! They kept things fun for us and our wedding party! When searching for vendors for our wedding, my husband and I knew that the photographer was one of our most important. We were interested in finding someone who not only took beautiful, creative photos (since neither of us are particularly good at coming up with photo ideas of our own!) but also whose personality would mesh well with ours. We knew that, if we weren't comfortable, our pictures would reflect that. We initially found John through the Knot, and he met with us late one evening to accommodate our work schedules. He made us feel comfortable right away, and we were blown away by the quality of his photos--they were all so fun and unique! Plus, he is comparable with other local photographers, and offered an engagement photo session as a part of one package. We took engagement photos in downtown Pittsburgh, and the experience was so fun! John and his wife, Becky, spent a few hours with us, and were then able to edit and send our photos to us within a few days of our shoot! They were beautiful, and because John gives electronic access to all the photos and you can print them on your own through whatever site you choose, we were able to share them with all of our friends and family easily and affordably! Because our wedding was only two weeks ago, we have not yet received those photos. But the experience the day of was amazing! John and Becky were so helpful, and helped add a calming presence when things were tense due to weather/wrangling wedding party members and family for photos. John's photo ideas were amazing, and we cannot wait to receive the finished products. My husband and I were thrilled with John and Becky, and will recommend them to everyone we meet who shares they are getting married! Thank you both so much!!

My husband and I couldn’t have asked for a better duo of photographers to work with for our engagement session, as well as our wedding day. John and Becky captured the most beautiful shots of us, in addition to being some of THE nicest people we have ever met. They’d bounce ideas off each other and off of us if they had a cool idea for a shot or pose and my husband and I just rolled with it! John and Becky are super chill, “go with the flow” kind of people, so my husband and I really liked that. We will never forget working with John and Becky. They work so well together and produced beautiful photographs of our day that we will cherish for forever. They will exceed all of your wedding photography expectations!

I am so happy with my wedding pictures! John was great to work with and very responsive to every email! I was very worried with the weather leading up to my wedding but he always had alternative ideas of places to shoot. We love the candid photos of our guests for our reception. John and Becky have photographed two of our friends’ weddings, so it was a no-brainer for us to book Kendelhardt Photography for our wedding too! Our wedding was on New Year’s Eve and we wanted our photos to capture the party atmosphere, so reception and dance floor pics were particularly important to us, and I couldn’t be happier with how the photos turned out. We also appreciated how flexible and communicative they were leading up to the wedding. While we anticipated taking pre-ceremony pictures outside, cold weather forced us indoors and John helped us make an alternate plan several days before the wedding. We also love our photos from the engagement photoshoot! Highly recommended!!!

Our pictures were the single most important part of the wedding for us. We met with about 15 photographers during our winter break. We instantly knew that we wanted to use John after meeting him. John and Becky are amazing! They’re so fun to work with, great at corralling family for portraits, and take beautiful pictures! John really took the time to get to know us and work out the day of timeline. There are so many great things to say about John and Becky, but let me start with the most important: their photos are absolutely stunning. They did a great job of capturing everything from artistic portraits of us to candid shots of our guests. We are proud to display their photos in our home. But you're getting more than just wonderful photos when you work with John and Becky; you're also getting a great experience from start to finish. John is very responsive to emails and questions, which helped to set my mind at ease through the planning process. He scheduled 3-4 calls with us to get to know us, go over our timeline, and make sure he understood the parts of our ceremony and reception that were most important to capture. We opted for a package that included an engagement shoot, which was a great way for us to get comfortable in front of the camera and familiarize ourselves with John's photography style. In our case, we really wanted some photos that showcased our favorite parts of the city. John listened to what we wanted and had a lot of great suggestions for locations for our engagement shoot and wedding photos. We took photos in front of cool murals and alleyways in the Strip District, near our favorite buildings on the North Side, and even in the middle of the Clemente Bridge! The quality of Kendelhardt's photos is exceptional, especially for the price. I highly recommend John and Becky for your wedding!

I cannot rave enough about Kendelhardt Photography. I knew going into my wedding that I wanted nice pictures but I also didn't want to spend a fortune. We got the best of both worlds with John and his wife Becky. They were willing to do anything for a good shot, flexible to work with, budget friendly, and have some bomb @$$ skills.

This husband-wife duo.... the best!!! Not only am I the most awkward person in the world when it comes to photos, but I know nothing about photography. John and Becky did our engagement photos (even though it was freezing in November) and even were super helpful about us incorporating our dog. Then on the day of, they captured all of the great moments and provided us with teasers shortly after. They were referred to as "ninjas" because they were getting a ton of great shots, but blended in with the crowd and everyone loved it. They just had a great balance between the two of them and I couldn't be happier with the entire experience.

Where to start, right? Well, I'll tell you what our family told us as we enjoyed our wedding dinner. Both of our families asked us if we knew John personally because he was so natural with all of us. We met John about ten days before our wedding day to go over some of the details and that was enough for us to feel right at home with him. My wife and I spent what felt like a lifetime planning for our special day and John made sure it was nothing short of just that. We had a small wedding, 12 in total, and it was held at the Courthouse in Downtown Pittsburgh. From the detail shots of the flowers, to the setting, to the kids running around - John was able to capture it all. We feel confident in the work John was able to produce and we spent our wedding day being happy; the pictures prove that! John made himself available via email and cellphone throughout the whole process and was very reasonable. We highly recommend John for any size wedding. He was courteous, professional, timely, and most importantly he got every shot we wanted and a few that we think turned out absolutely stellar! We highly recommend Kendelhardt Photography! We had a very DIY, low-frills, and non-traditional ceremony and appreciated that John and Becky understood and worked with our style. We hadn't had professional photos done before and were a little nervous. John and Becky's humor and their playful approach made the engagement session and wedding day photos easy. John explained all of our options for pricing, products, etc very clearly, but not at all in a pushy way. We are very pleased with both the quantity and quality of the photos, which are beautiful, and really capture the joyful spirit of the day.

John and his wife Becky were awesome wedding photographers. They are professional, prompt, down to earth, and really good at what they do. I really wanted outdoor pictures, but it rained the whole day of our ceremony. Luckily John drove around the morning of and found a bunch of covered spots we could take pictures. It worked out perfectly. We got our pictures promptly (~5 weeks after the wedding) which is pretty unheard of with weddings, I think. The pictures looked amazing and the best part is that we get all of them, no odd ball pricing pyramids, and they're in an online gallery so our guests can download them for themselves if they like. I 100% recommend John and Becky for your photography needs!!

John and Becky did an amazing job photographing our engagement session and wedding. They were very professional and love what they do, and I believe that is reflected in their photos. They are very down to earth and made us feel comfortable so our photos turned out very genuine. With there being 2 photographers, they were able to capture every moment. John and Becky had around 1,000 photos from our wedding that they edited and we were beyond impressed when we saw them - not to mention how quickly we got our photos back! They really captured all the whole day so well and we are glad we will have those memories forever. I would recommend them to anyone - they are hard working, great people!

John and Becky rock! They gave us exactly what we wanted, a lot of candid photos, They were super easy to get in touch with, and answered all questions we had along the way. My husband and I are so happy we got to work with John and Becky for our wedding! Having gotten to do both an engagement session with them, and our wedding day, we are thrilled with the results. They were incredibly professional throughout it all, while also being very warm and welcoming so we not only got beautiful pictures but got to enjoy the time spent with them. Prior to the wedding John was great to talk through ideas with, and by scouting our picture locations in advance he had so many great ideas all ready for the wedding day and we seamlessly got the bridal party pictures done, followed by gorgeous pictures from the ceremony and reception. We really love how well they captured so many aspects of our wedding, from the little details to the true joy we were feeling, to all the fun the guests were having. An absolute gem. John and Becky handled the single most important aspect of my wedding with unparalleled professionalism and expertise. The photographs taken were absolutely stunning, beyond my wildest expectations. Their photographs ranged from carefully posed portraiture and heartwarming candid shots to awe inspiring artistic renderings of the intricate details. I can't recommend them enough.

John and, his wife, Becky did an incredible job of capturing how happy and fun our wedding day was. He was excellent at communicating with us as to not miss a single detail. We warned John when we first met that we were not the typical "artsy" couple! He never once tried to make us be something we were not - instead, he encouraged our zaniness and captured our personalities perfectly! One thing that stood out the most was John's ability to handle the ever dreaded family photos after the ceremony. He brilliantly controlled everyone, got the photos done, and kept us all smiling!
