About this vendor
Hi! Congratulations on getting engaged!! I'm sure you're so excited for this season of life and preparations are in full swing.
After photographing weddings full-time for a handful of years, it's become my passion to create a luxurious wedding experience that results in photographs that feel natural and genuine. Your wedding is too important to have mediocre memories.
Wedding photography is a lot of things, but most of all it's an investment in someone to capture and document your wedding day. When the wonderful day is done, the cake has been eaten, the dress hung, you are left as newlyweds with your wedding photographs. These images will be your first family heirloom. My goal is to capture what is real, with nothing forced. I want to tell your story. I want you to look at my images and feel something. I approach my weddings and engagement sessions with a pairing of lifestyle and fine art because I want you to have both the 'wall hangers' and the photos that you can look back on and bring you right back to that moment in time. My business degree paired with my photography skills uniquely provide you with a one-of-a-kind experience all while having the best time! Photographs are the closest thing we have to bottling up time.
Story teller. Light chaser. Quality timer. Season lover.
I'm Kendra. Most days you can find me in my leggings, working at my desk with a smile on my face and my dog at my feet. I’m a wife, a new mom, and a professional wedding photographer. I love green smoothies, long hikes with my family, jeep rides with the top down, and decorating our modern/traditional home. I'm organized, yet laid-back; free spirited, yet grounded; and outgoing, yet introverted. I create images that feel completely like you!
I'd love to connect with you soon! I accept a limited number of weddings each year and my wedding experience beings at $3,900. Email me for details and Iet's jump on a call or get together for a drink! :)

Kendra was the most amazing photographer and one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! She was so quick to respond with all of my many emails and answering all of my q...
uestions. She was able to create a timeline for the day of the wedding and was able to help calm my nerves in having this done months in advance. She is incredibly organized and professional each step of the way. As for the day of the wedding, I had a large wedding party and family and she was able to work quickly and organize everyone really easily! She made the whole day run really smoothly by keeping everyone on track and at ease in front of the camera! We received our engagement photos and our wedding photos SO quickly, I was absolutely shocked by the quick turn around and the pictures are incredible. They will be cherished in our lives for many years to come! Kendra completely exceeded our expectations and we can't recommend her enough!!!
Kendra was phenomenal to work with for our wedding on 9/24/22. Throughout the entire process, Kendra was so accommodating and was always willing to answer any questions that we had...
. She is so organized and made our wedding day a breeze, she knew exactly what shots to get and we felt extremely comfortable working with her. We got our engagement pictures done prior to our wedding and loved every single one of them and cannot even believe what our sneak peaks from our wedding look like! We could not love our photos any more, Kendra exceeded every expectation!
Kendra and her associates have been wonderful throughout my wedding process. I chose Kendra because I liked the style of her photography, but beyond that, her team was so easy to w...

fortable with Kacey for our big day which was a great idea from Kendra. Kendra is so organized and professional. She facilitated communication between everyone, provided day of timelines, open minded, checked in often with us to assist with any questions, and gifted us a beautiful keepsake box of our wedding photos so quickly! If we had our wedding day again, we wouldn't change a thing!
Kendra was hands down the best decision we could have made in regards to a photographer for our wedding. She was so flexible, easy to work with, organized, professional and kind. W...
e chose to postpone our wedding because of COVID-19 and she stuck with us through all the changes and made it so easy to adjust our plans. We had a mishap with our flowers the day of (things happen!), but Kendra graciously offered to fix the issue, so it did not ruin our pictures. With her amazing skills we cannot tell the difference in our pictures. They are absolutely stunning and she has a great eye for photography. Kendra did more than just be our photographer. She provided a “day of” timeline, kept us on schedule/organized, was a calm presence and was thorough in capturing the pictures we wanted her to. We are so grateful we chose her to capture our day and could not have asked for a better photographer. If we had to do it all over again, we would pick Kendra again in a heartbeat!

lpful in our planning phase, and she was completely accommodating when we had to reschedule our wedding due to COVID-19. We're impressed by the dedication from Kendra as well - she and her husband ended up moving away from Michigan, but she still traveled to make it to our wedding. Also, she sent us a sneak peak photo on the NIGHT of our wedding, with several more photos that we got to see on our honeymoon a few days later. So cool... We can't wait to see the rest! Thank you so much, Kendra!
Kendra photographed my engagement photos and wedding in November in Michigan. It was an absolute pleasure working with Kendra. She made sure to understand exactly what our 'couple-...
style' was and our vision for our wedding day. My husband isn't overly enthusiastic about getting his picture taken & Kendra was very patient and encouraging - making sure that we were comfortable the entire time. It is very apparent that Kendra has a passion for her work and her talent shines through each and every picture.
I have zero regrets in choosing Kendra to be our photographer. Her bright and crisp photography style fit exactly what I was looking for. Her booking process is easy and organized....
She was calm and professional on the wedding day. She knows EXACTLY what she wants you to do in order to capture the perfect shot. I appreciated her level of communication and attention to detail when taking portraits both during our engagement session and wedding day. She makes you feel comfortable and poses you just right so it doesn't look too staged, but flatters your every angle :) I get so many compliments on how beautiful our wedding and engagement photos turned out. She also delivers a beautiful keepsake box with tons of her favorite prints and a USB filled with all your images. She is 100% worth the investment!
Kendra is amazing! From our first meeting, she was always professional, on time, and extremely nice.

thing we wanted, Kendra made happen. Even stopping at our favorite brewery to get pictures done.
Anytime I had questions she was just an email away, never had to wait long for a response. She also helped with making my timeline for the wedding day, which was a HUGE help.
If you are in Minnesota and looking for a photographer... Kendra is your gal, she will make you feel so confident and comfortable, and she made me feel like her friend. 😊

r and the experience she provides. Our photos turned out amazing (especially since it was a hot 90 degree day). Kendra was professional, patient, and so organized. She captured our day perfectly!
Kendra is so, so talented! Not only is she an amazing photographer, but throughout our wedding process, she quickly became a friend. When I initially met with her, it just clicked!...
She was so personable and professional. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera during our engagement session and again on our wedding day. Our friends and family said the same and were so impressed how she rolled with the hiccups in our day! It rained on and off during the day, but she made it seem like no big deal and you can’t even tell in our photos! She helped me stay calm. She also told me about doing a first look and I’m so glad we did, since it ended up raining! It was so nice to have the extra time with Ben and get the majority of photos out of the way before our ceremony. We received our images from her so quickly, and the presentation was amazing! We have our keepsake box out on our table and it’s so fun to share with our friends and family when they come over. Forever grateful for her and the memories!

ven created a day-of timeline for us, which was so helpful when it came to planning hair, makeup, ceremony time, etc. she even sent us a custom wedding magazine in the mail full of tips and tricks! I remember being super nervous for our engagement photos, but as soon as we got started we had so much fun, even Brian agreed. She somehow made us look sooo natural and the photos really encompass who we are as a couple. I knew we were. In god hands so I could relax on our Wedding day. She had everything coordinated and handled. the photos speak for themselves and we’re happy to have these images to share with our family forever! <3 Thank you, Kendra!!

love. After speaking with her, there was no way we couldn't move forward with booking her...especially after she agreed to travel out to the Pacific Northwest for our engagement photo shoot in the mountains! Even in our earliest communications with her, we could see how passionate she is about her work.
Kendra is prompt, professional, and so, so kind. My fiance and I were both a little nervous going into our engagement photoshoot, as we both don't particularly enjoy getting our photos taken. But, Kendra not only made us comfortable, but she also made the process SO much fun! She is an absolute artist and such a great, authentic person. We have so much gratitude that we found her to be our photographer, and cannot wait to work with her on our wedding day!

she sent us a handmade magazine with examples of her work and tips for the day. She worked with us to craft a timeline that made the day go so smoothly. Kendra and her second shooter are also just a joy to be around. We choose her for natural and bright photo style that also very artistic. She delivered a range of artistic details and portraits along with wonderful candids of our favorite people. A preview set of photos was sent within the first week after our wedding which was wonderful to have and share with our family. When we received our full wedding set, we not only could download it from her website, but she delivered a keepsake box with a custom flash drive and print outs of her favorite photos. Kendra is the perfect choice for all your special events. We recommend her 100%.

our wedding photos and I now understand why! My wife always said that she wanted to splurge on a few things for our wedding with the wedding day photography being one of them. Kendra did not disappoint. The months leading up to the wedding, Kendra was very kind, attentive, organized and professional. She quickly answered any and all of our questions. We never once had any stress regarding our wedding photography. The pictures are phenomenal and after our wedding, we couldn't imagine working with anyone else! During traditional family photos, Kendra had a great way of giving direction to those in the photos without anyone ever feeling awkward and the candid photos she captured are breathtaking. There are no words to express how HIGHLY we recommend Kendra Denault Photography to any bride and groom! So do yourself and your spouse a favor and hire Kendra Denault. is super chill and has great ideas, and is a great communicator. She truly takes the time to get to know your personalities and style, and adapts her photography around that. She even helped calm me down during little bridezilla freakouts at my wedding (hehe :)) and brought a wedding day of emergency kit which several of my bridesmaids needed - a true lifesaver. But honestly, Kendra is great. I will never, EVER be over our photos from our wedding and engagement. Her photography is wedding magazine worthy and you need to just hire her right now if you are in the market for a photographer! Thank you Kendra!

p a meeting with her. Her personality was more than enough for us to book her! At both our engagement photos and our wedding, she was so genuine and positive to work with, and made it feel so natural for all the photos that we posed for. One of my favorite things about our wedding photos is that we have an amazing mix of photos, both posed (but not to the point of being awkward) and a great array of natural moments that she caught when we weren't looking. Not only that, but we received our wedding photos so quickly - the sneak peek was up within days of our wedding and the rest were quick to follow. I received so many compliments on our photos, and am so glad to have them as a memento of our day! I would absolutely recommend her.

and I am IN LOVE! Kendra was able to perfectly capture our personalities and our relationship in such a meaningful way. I can't imagine a better experience! It was a perfect night, and we had so much fun. Kendra was able to work with two people who aren't used to being in front of a camera, and make us feel comfortable and confident! We're so happy with our photos, and can't wait for her to capture our wedding day as well!

Updating my review after the wedding! Keegan and I are SO happy with the photos from our wedding, and every interaction we've had with Kendra. She's so passionate about what she does, and it shows! Our whole bridal party loved both her and Taylor, the second shooter who worked with her for our wedding. Kendra made everything run so smoothly. She was great about providing photo timelines before the event, and adjusting them seamlessly when we had some additions. Even when I was running late, she was able to make the portraits feel relaxed and fun. We still made it to the venue with time to spare and tons of amazing photos! Again, everyone has raved over the images, and I can't wait to get some of them printed! I would recommend Kendra 100% to anyone who needs a photographer!
