I hired Kendra Jones Photography to capture the moment I proposed to my now-fiancé.
I have to begin with her professionalism. I had requested she be discreet as to keep the momen...
t a surprise. Kendra not only met my expectations, she surpassed them. She did an excellent job at being incognito and blending in to the few people who were also in the area, and was also in the perfect positioning to capture some truly incredible photographs.
Which brings me to the quality of her work. The photographs of "the" moment were perfect. The proposal felt like it went by so quickly, that I will be forever grateful Kendra was there to capture the moment. But where Kendra's skill and expertise truly shined followed the proposal, where we toured the area in the French Quarter for a 30-minute photoshoot. Kendra knew some fantastic areas with interesting color palettes and architecture to capture some stunning shots. My fiancé and I felt like we were on a shoot with GQ/Vogue. She was a consummate professional. Both our emotions were running on high and so it was a relief to have someone instruct us on where to stand and what specific poses would look great for each shot.
Lastly, Kendra not only did fantastic work the day of, but also in the turnaround time to receive the photos, with all edits included, was also quick. This was great news as both of our families and friends were looking forward to seeing them. There was not a single photograph I did not like in the entire collection.
All in all, I cannot be happier with hiring Kendra. We will definitely be interested in hiring her for our wedding if she is available.
If you are looking for a photographer for ANY need, then just stop searching and choose Kendra right now.

orked with. She never let a day pass without responding quickly to my emails, she gave great advice and tips prior to the shoot. I choose to do a boudoir shoot before the big day as a day of gift. I was SO nervous, but she was so kind and encouraging with poses and making great conversation. She was always on time and did not push for contracts or payments right away like some owners manage their businesses
I was blown away by all the little details of the pictures, her use of light/dark for contrast and how as each picture was captured, you could see a story being told.
I'm still waiting for my wedding photos now but I know they will be stunning. BOOK HER NOW!
Kendra was amazing to work with. I had only spoken to her over the phone during the wedding planning process (since this was a destination wedding) and she was very easy to talk t...
o, very informative and took a lot of stress and planning off my shoulders when it came to picture locations etc. It was lovely to meet her the day of the wedding and she had the best attitude all day long. She adapted to any request we had in the moment but also helped us stay on schedule. She managed to capture every look we wanted even when time was short. Having a second photographer as well at her price was very affordable and I am so glad we went with her!
While I was initially nervous about hiring a photographer we had never met or posed for, it worked out very smoothly in the end!

ured so many great photos and videos of us and of our guests. I'm impressed with how many photos of our guests they were able to capture. They knew how to instruct everyone how to pose, etc. in the moment.

photos is a little awkward but Kendra always made us feel comfortable and put us at ease. She is great at getting the group together to focus and gives great instruction on how she wants you positioned and knows what looks best to capture great photos. She is very prompt with her editing and got us our photos back within a week. She is so easy to work with and we will definitely use her again for any photography needs. I would absolutely recommend her as a wedding photographer!

everyone look their best. She was quite simply phenomenal!!! I give her my highest recommendation for being a consummate professional and delightful as well.
Kendra was amazing. I was so worried because it rained the day of my bridal shoot. Kendra rolled up her jeans and stood in the rain to get the most beautiful pictures. You could no...
t even tell that it was raining in the shots. She is able to catch the most perfect moments. I highly recommend her.
Kendra was fantastic. First and foremost, she has such a lovely style, the pictures turned out beautifully. She does a great job using natural light; it was kind of a cloudy day b...
ut she transformed that into the most romantic shots. Kendra is prompt, she got right to work. She knows how to wrangle up the fam for the formal pictures and can corral a crowd, however her real strength lies in that she is able to blend right in to capture those sweet little unplanned moments as well.
Kendra is so easy to work with. She keeps her cool and is very intuitive. I was getting a little nervous before the wedding (I thought my eye shadow was too much) and Kendra took the initiative to slip away with the bridesmaids down the hall to take some photos so that I could have some time to take some deep breaths.
Kendra did a boudoir shoot with me about a month before the wedding as well. I was nervous to say the least but she was able to make me feel comfortable and relaxed; it ended up being pretty fun!
If I had to start over, booking Kendra would be one of the first things on my list.
