Welcome to Kendra's Country Bakery where every cake is customized to suit your needs! My initial inspiration comes from my grandparents. Although I was young when they passed, I can still remember my grandfather's signature red buttercream rose hidden on every cake. In the beginning, while raising my family with my husband, I was so excited to get into the baking world and learn what it had to offer. I had been baking for years so I decided to do what I love and share it with others!
This is our 15th year in the wedding industry and we've learned that our family works well as a team, and we are successful because of that teamwork, as well as our dedication, creativity and passion.
We are honored to have been recognized nine times by Wedding Wire with Couple's Choice Awards due to many of our stellar reviews in 2015-2017, 2019, 2020- 2025. We have also received local honors at the Payson Business Showcase for 2015 & 2016, as well as "Best Taste" in the 2016 and 2019 Taste of the Rim competitions. Over the years we have honed our craft as cake artists by taking valuable trainings to advance in being innovative and current in cake design.
My daughters and I work together to create delicious and beautiful masterpieces for all events. We would like to share our joy of baking and cake art with you. We adore what we do and are grateful for the opportunity to serve. Every cake tells a story; let us tell yours!

ve how many options there were between the icing flavors, fillings, and cake flavors themselves! They had a thorough process for helping us figure out what we wanted from a decoration perspective, and then helped us figure out how much we needed to get everyone plenty of dessert!
Ultimately, we went with a lemon flavored cake and icing, with blueberry and strawberry fillings depending on the layer! We also purchased chocolate cupcakes with a mint frosting. All of it was delicious!
When it came to getting the items delivered, Kendra and Maureen coordinated with our venue to ensure that instructions were clear and the food was stored appropriately so that the quality was top notch. We would highly recommend them for any cake related needs!

Not only did they offer a large variety of samples, it was ALL HOMEMADE which made it so hard to choose because EVERYTHING was sooo good! They took all of our wishes and exceeded our expectations with their talent! The centerpiece they created was stunning and they even incorporated a large manzanita branch which is symbolic of where we met! So sweet! They truly made our love story come to life!
Our guests are still talking about our charcuterie style dessert table! A stunning three tiered centerpiece cake and a huge variety of their homemade desserts with fresh fruit and cannolis too! We definitely got what we paid for AND MORE! They were so kind and gifted us some extras for booking!

They were so delicious that my wife and I didn't get to taste every flavor—we actually ran out by the end of the night. All of our friends and family loved that they could choose their own cupcake flavors.

Our first meeting for cake tasting further validated that we picked the right people as they were warm and welcoming. Their communication is impeccable and they stayed in contact with me for several months prior to our big day, making changes as requested. I was apprehensive at first in handing over the reigns to let them put their personal touch on the vision I had for our cake, cupcakes and brownies but their confidence and expertise did not disappoint! Now for the showstopper, the grooms cake. Kendra and Maureen did such an amazing job on making a small welder out of a cake that folks actually thought someone forgot to put away a welder at the venue and then we had folks arguing over whether or not anything was plastic/real, but of course they were able to make all of the components edible and even included the safety sheet in the back.
Not only was their workmanship amazing, but they made you feel as if you had known them for years when talking to them which made working with them that much easier. The only thing that I wish is that they weren't 4 hours away from where we live so that we could use them for every celebration in our life, but I am sure we will find an excuse to use them again in the future.
