Our wedding at KAH couldn’t have been more perfect. Monique was my rock during wedding planning and the venue was absolutely gorgeous. It hardly needed any decor because it was so beautiful itself. The ability to have cocktail hour on the patio and reveal the room later in the reception was just lovely and they ensured everything went smoothly. To be able to find something so close to home and reasonably priced felt like a dream. I’m so grateful to Monique and her staff and wish I could relive the wedding all over again!

We could not have found a more perfect venue for our wedding on July 12, 2025. From the moment we showed up for our tour and met with Monique, we knew Kenilworth was the place for us. The venue is beautiful, historic, and well-maintained, yet the pricing and contract requirements are completely reasonable and fair. We felt comfortable and at home from that very first visit. We also found an excellent caterer (Catered by Design) from their preferred catering list. Monique was a dream to work with--so organized and punctual yet laid-back and flexible. We received so many compliments on the venue from our guests. While we opted to have both our ceremony and reception indoors, Monique allowed us to open up the lawn and patio to guests for cocktail hour, which was absolutely stunning and a huge hit. I would recommend Kenilworth to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

The Kenilworth Assembly Hall was built in 1907 by George W. Maher, famed Chicago architect and contemporary of Frank Lloyd Wright. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Places and has served as a beautiful community house since its construction in 1907. Nestled in the beautiful North Shore suburb of Kenilworth, it is conveniently located from Chicago and is accessible by train and car. With vaulted ceilings, original hardwood floors, magnificent lotus flower stained glass windows and an impressive stage, the expansive interior of The Kenilworth Assembly Hall radiates classic arts and crafts style beauty. The adjoining Neighbor’s Room, with its two floating bars and wood-burning fireplace, feels like a cozy living room – perfect for cocktails or taking a break from dancing to catch up with family and friends. Whether you choose to have your event inside or outside on the lush West Lawn, your event will reflect your individual style in this timeless setting.

nning process. Michelle knows all of the local vendors and had great recommendations for DJs, makeup artists, hotels, caterers - you name it! She is a class act and knows how to put an event together. The venue itself is beautiful. It has great bones and with little decoration, turns into a classic and elegant place to host a wedding. It is also near a lot of great places to take pictures: Lake Michigan, Kenilworth train station, and beautiful churches. We highly recommend this venue - especially for couples looking to host their friends and family near their hometown.

ch a pleasure to work with. Planning a wedding from out of state during COVID was stressful, but Michelle made it as easy as could be and was incredibly communicative, responsive, and patient. Everyone was flexible as we adjusted and readjusted due to Delta. The venue is beautiful, unique, and flexible to meet your needs. It is classy while still being intimate and cozy. The new lighting is stunning. When we walked in the room on the big day, it was exactly what we envisioned and the logistics were seamless. Thank you again!

ing but large enough to comfortably fit our 180 guests. The history and architecture of the building is rich and creates an understated beauty in a wedding reception. Staff is easy to work with and laid back. We were able to visit the venue a number of times for planning purposes which was extremely helpful. They have a list of preferred vendors which were also amazing as we used a couple of their recommendations. I would absolutely recommend this venue!

ng easy for us. Quality: The space itself is beautiful. I was originally looking into city venues but they were too expensive for our budget. I was specifically wanting Bridgeport Arg Center and Kenilworth felt like a piece of that. It has a similar feel and was exactly what I was looking for. Many of our guests were raving about the room. Value: We chose to get married on a Friday night which is a little cheaper than Saturday. All the tables, chairs, plates, silverware and glasses(not bar glasses) are included in the price. I would HIGHLY recommend!

Lisa, the club's director was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process, and gave us lots of advice and suggestions on vendors and general wedding planning, and quickly answering any questions that we had. Nick is another Kenilworth employee who helps set up and coordinate everything the day of. He was very behind the scenes and modest and did a fantastic job getting everything put exactly as we had imagined. It is a truly unique and beautiful venue both inside and out. We had our ceremony outside, cocktail hour in and out, and reception in. It is one of a kind and we received so many compliments on it both the day of and long after. Everyone at the club is also very attentive to detail. The outside looked flawless on our wedding day, they had a small piano tuned the day before just for good measure, and helped with other small touches as well. All in all, working with the Kenilworth Club was a breeze and I would recommend it as a wedding venue to anyone looking for a venue different than your typical country club where you can truly make it your own.
