McKenna was one of my favorite wedding vendors to work with--from the initial consultation to delivering the digital album, she was prompt, communicative, efficient, and incredibly cultured. As a Desi bride, I was particular about my rituals an...d capturing all the right moments of each of my events (which included three events in the span of a hectic two full days--not to mention cramming in the complimentary one-hour engagement session between the first two rituals in an entirely different location). After reaching out to McKenna through her website for her wedding session prices, she emailed me within a day with her wedding information, along with links to her previous work--and I was HOOKED! We set up an initial FaceTime call and kept in contact through iMessage and EMail. After I had booked all my venues and decided my timeline, McKenna had a contract created and ready for me to review within the week. Between the contract signing and the wedding, McKenna personally texted me to see how the wedding planning was going and we set up an in-person coffee date about ten days before the booking date to go over the timeline and logistics. Come the day of the first event (my Nikah), McKenna was on time and blended in seamlessly, capturing every important detail of the ritual, which was the actual marriage contract signing and "I-do's." Immediately after the marriage, my now-husband and I left the venue in different outfits and met McKenna at an outdoor mall for our "engagement" shoot, and immediately after that, she was ready for our third event of the day: the Mehndi, that evening. The next day, at the Baraat, she took our couple photos right before my entrance and beautifully captured each and every ritual of the night: the groom entrance, the performances, the speeches, the stage photos, the joota chupai (hiding of the groom's shoes), the doodh pilai (where the sister of the bride gives her new brother-in-law a sip of milk from a decorated cup), the cake-cutting, and the grand exit of the bride and groom into the car at the end of the night. I had received previews of my Nikah and engagement shoot the morning of my Baraat, previews of my Baraat the day after! What's even more incredible is that I hadn't even realized McKenna was taking all these photos and capturing all the moments I got to see in our previews and official album. There was one particular photo of my older brother hugging me before I got into our car during our grand exit, that I hadn't even remembered happening in all of the commotion of the night--but because of McKenna's attention to detail, I will never forget that moment! My entire edited digital wedding album was delivered to me in just a little over a month--talk about efficiency! I could not recommend Kenna Lynn Photo enough for every bride out there!
