Kenny was AMAZING! We booked him alongside our DJ, Cam, to play saxophone during both cocktail hour and the reception, and we’re so glad we did. He made our cocktail hour feel so special, and the music was absolutely beautiful.
Once the reception started, he completely crushed it. Having him play live sax alongside the DJ made the dance floor so much fun, and he matched the energy perfectly. Kenny and Cam complemented each other so well and added such a cool element to the night.
Couldn’t recommend Kenny enough. Thank you for making our wedding so special and so much fun!!

If you want your wedding to sound like an actual wedding band, skip this one. If you want your reception to sound like you stumbled into a real jazz set, book Kenny Fong and Downbeat Production.
We have a library rooftop for a venue — not exactly a standard load-in, standard stage, standard anything. Kenny didn't blink. He did a full tech walkthrough with us ahead of time and helped us actually plan the layout around the space instead of asking us to just make it work. That kind of hands-on problem-solving before the day even starts is rare.
Then on the night itself, the whole set just worked — set the tone for the entire evening in a way a generic top-40 wedding band never could. My husband and I have wildly different music tastes, and Kenny still found room to work a Depeche Mode song into the set for me. Small thing, but it made my night.
If you want musicians first and "wedding band" second, this is who you call.

Kenny Fong Music is a saxophonist and composer based in Salt Lake City, UT. With experience playing pop, soul, Latin, and jazz music, Kenny can provide entertainment to fit the vibe of any wedding.
Kenny Fong began his musical journey early, taking piano lessons from 6. At age 11, he led and conducted the Utah Symphony. In high school, he decided to focus on playing the saxophone. Kenny honed his musical skills while studying history and technique from accomplished saxophonist Patrick Cornelius. After 2015, he began his career as a musician by working with established cover bands in the Salt Lake City area. Most recently, he worked as part of a show band for a Queen Victoria cruise.
Available for wedding ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions, Kenny Fong Music can provide entertainment for your entire celebration. Kenny will learn specific songs to add a flair of personalization to your special day. He will also provide a sound/PA system and microphones.

Our wedding was held at Needles Lodge at Snowbasin in Utah on March 20, 2026, and without question, Kenny was one of the highlights of the entire day. Three months later, our guests are still talking about him.
He completely transformed our reception. His talent is unbelievable, and what impressed us most was his versatility. He seamlessly moved between so many different genres, reading the room perfectly and keeping the dance floor packed all night long. Whether it was upbeat party music, classic hits, pop, R&B, or crowd favorites, Kenny elevated every song with his incredible saxophone performance. He created an energy that you simply can't replicate with a playlist alone.
The number of compliments we received about Kenny throughout the night and even afterwards, has been incredible. So many guests have told us he was one of the most memorable parts of our wedding reception. He brought an excitement and unique entertainment factor that truly made our celebration unforgettable.
