Kenny Kim was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. He is incredibly kind, easy to be around, and genuinely takes the time to get to know everyone. He learned our gues...
ts’ names, remembered who was related to who, and made people feel comfortable in front of the camera without ever forcing anything.
The photos are beautiful. He captured a perfect mix of clean, timeless portraits and candid moments that actually feel like us. We received hundreds of highlight images within 48 hours, and the full gallery of over 2,000 photos just 12 days later, which was amazing.
We’re so grateful for the way Kenny documented our day, and we’ll treasure these photos for a long time. I’d recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer who is talented, professional, and genuinely good to work with. And his prices are extremely reasonable for his experience and caliber/level of skill.
We cannot say enough about Kenny. Our wedding day simply would not have been what it was if it weren't for him--us, our families, our wedding party and our guests would all agree. ...
Kenny got to know everyone so well and took time to ask everyone questions while managing to take the most beautiful photos. We have already continued our relationship with Kenny and we will absolutely be using him for future events we hope to hold as a newly wed family!
Kenny is not only a world-class photographer, he is a wonderful person!! He photographed our 8-13-22 wedding and practically became a part of our family by the end of the day. My h...
usband and I are so, incredibly grateful to have spent our wedding day with Kenny!
Right from your first contact with Kenny he goes out of his way to get to know you as a couple, your story, and about all the people in your life who are important to you. This enables him to capture special moments and special people on your wedding day. He knew the names of all of our family members, wedding party, and even significant others of those in the wedding party! Not only is this super kind of him, but it also allows him to efficiently reposition people and expedites the photography process.
On our wedding day, Kenny went above and beyond, arriving early to begin taking invitation suite detail shots and familiarize himself with the space in which we would be doing our first look. He was calm and cheerful, and my bridesmaids and I had so much fun taking getting ready photos with him.
For the bulk of our photos, he chose locations based on the weather and lighting that day, and helped guide our trolley driver from stop to stop. He kept time so my husband and I didn’t have to worry about it, and made us laugh and smile so much. He calmed our nerves and made the picture taking part of our day so much fun!! His second shooter was great, as well. Your photographer really sets the tone for your wedding day since he or she is with you the whole time, especially if you take photos before your ceremony, and Kenny made sure that we had a perfect day!!
He delivered tons of photos to us just 2 days after our wedding, and we couldn’t be happier with how beautiful they are. Kenny is truly gifted. He captured so many beautiful moments on our wedding day that we will be able to re-live forever thanks to his photos. Beyond that, he is also a wonderful person who is very fun to get to know. I had guests gushing about not only our photos, but how interesting, friendly, and charming Kenny was! We cannot recommend booking Kenny as your wedding photographer (or for any event, for that matter) enough.
Thank you, Kenny, for setting the tone for what was our dream wedding, and bringing it to life for us through photographs!
xoxo Sabrina and Brendan O’Brien

eeded all expectations I had and was more than just our photographer on our wedding weekend. Kenny quickly became acquainted with my family and close friends and knew our whole wedding party by name. We had many guests go out of their way to let us know how much they loved Kenny during our wedding weekend and even after! He left an amazing impression on everyone and his photos are the most perfect representation of our wedding that we continue to look back on. Kenny will listen to all of your requests and will make suggestions at the appropriate times. He is incredibly organized, professional and efficient. You will be happy you booked Kenny for your upcoming event!
If you are looking for a wedding photographer, look no further! Kenny is not only an INCREDIBLE photographer, but he was such a pleasure to be around throughout our entire wedding ...
day. He truly went above and beyond in making everyone feel comfortable! Every single person at the wedding had such great things to say about Kenny; he went out of his way to meet everyone and learn their names. He was WONDERFUL!! His photos are beautiful - we have already received our sneak peeks and they have exceed all of our expectations!

t check out his instagram. What you may not be able to pick up on from his photos is that Kenny has a relationship with every single one of his clients on an intimate level. After Andy and I flew Kenny to Kansas City for our engagement photos, we knew he was something special. After he photographed our wedding last weekend in Chicago, we knew Kenny was going to be a forever friend. I cannot tell you the countless texts, emails and comments that were made to me about what a fantastic photographer he was. He is personable, humble and an overall amazing person to be friends with. I would hire Kenny over and over again if I could. He captured the most important day of my life and for that, I am forever grateful.
We are very grateful to Kenny Kim for capturing the special moments of our rehearsal and our wedding day! I asked for pictures around our neighborhood and he drove around the area ...
and selected so many beautiful spots! He also did an amazing job of getting to know all the members of our family and all those in the wedding party (even their spouses) which made the day go much smoother!

e takes the time to ask questions, get to know you as a couple, learn about your interests & desires. He listens & learns and uses this information to make the most personalized and special experience a couple could ever hope for. The day of the wedding: he knew our families names, knew our groomsmen and bridesmaids, knew the run of show. He was in all the right places at all the right times. It was absolute perfection. The best decision we made for our wedding was hiring Kenny. I simply cannot recommend him enough. Do yourself a favor and work with Kenny. It is the most worthwhile, memorable, and meaningful investment you can make on your wedding day.
And - the most incredible thing - is the benefits of working with Kenny didn't stop when the wedding was over. In our honeymoon in Italy, we met several people in Rome who knew Kenny from his travels and they made us feel like VIPs across the other side of the world! It's easy to see the amazing impact Kenny has on people. You'll feel it, too.

avorite vendor from our wedding. He's professional, sweet, super creative, and now a friend for life!
I knew that if I were ever to get married [again], I would be hiring Kenny Kim to be my wedding photographer. I'd seen his transformation from a sports photographer/hobbyist to an...
award winning destination wedding photographer and was so impressed with his understated, classic approach to wedding photography and knew I needed him to document my special day. He exceeded my expectations in EVERY way.
We got married in Rome. My husband's side of the family is Italian and mine is Korean, and would you believe it--Kenny speaks Korean, English, and an impressive amount of Italian--certainly enough to herd our group around through multiple different photo sessions. Kenny engaged seamlessly with all our guests and was, in many ways, more like a family member than a vendor, given his familiarity with Italy, Italian, Korean, and weddings.
He also had so many wonderful ideas for photo shoots, so many of which I would never have though of myself (even though I'd been to Rome a few times myself). Not only that, he handled all obstacles (bad traffic and rain!) as if they were all part of the plan. Bad traffic? Let's stop here and take a photo on our way to the other photo shoot site (ended up being one of my favorite photos of the bunch). Rain? Let's take a photos inside the glorious lobby of the hotel! He never once looked panicked or tired or anything less than thrilled to be part of the whole event.
He arrived at our home a few days ago to hand deliver our wedding album, and we were both so moved, we almost started to cry. My husband and I are both vegan and he took pains to make sure there wasn't a hint of leather in the album and worked with us tirelessly to pick through the photos.
In a word, Kenny is AMAZING. You will NOT be disappointed if you hire him!!!

gical! Friends and family were raving about them! He was also so kind and accommodating to our big families and huge wedding party. It’s not an easy job to work with so many people and he did it beautifully and seamlessly…and he knew everyone’s names, which was very impressive!
Kenny’s creative input and talent will surely make our wedding day one that we will never forget.
Kenny is a great artist. He can see from his viewfinder camera what you can’t imagine from your eyes!

ind every time the perfect matching.
Overall, he’s a great person: he can feel what’s the best thing to do and the best word to say just looking at you and your guests… professional with serious and shy people and funny with those who want to have fun!
His attitude is very polite, warm and staid and you will never be sheepish during the photoshoot.
Organization of events and wedding must start from Kenny Kim and his photos, because the artworks he produces, will be the best memories of the happiest moments of your life.
He can also travel all around the world: for me, he came in Italy!

ere for our family and friends' biggest moments and does the best job at capturing them all. His work is INCREDIBLE. He is so passionate about his job, but most importantly, he cares about his clients as if they are his own family. My husband and I see and keep in touch with Kenny quite often as we have built a life-long relationship with him. If you are in the market for the best photographer out there, book Kenny Kim!
Kenny is truly a professional, and the best in the industry. He not only takes incredible photos, but he is so enjoyable to be around and makes everyone feel so comfortable. We did...
the engagement shoot in DC during cherry blossom season and the photos were MAGICAL. Next, he was with us for every moment during our wedding weekend in Newport, Rhode Island. He literally learned everyone's names (169 guests) and their relationship to us, and captured everything so beautifully. The photo highlights were ready almost immediately (does this man ever sleep?) and he was so wonderful to work with -- extremely quick to respond and he has an incredible eye for photography. Kenny was recommended to us by a friend, and I know we will see him again in the future because our guests were so blown away by the photos that he will be hired for many more weddings to come in our social circle. Kenny – we love you and we are eternally grateful. We will cherish these memories forever!
WOW! What incredible images of Jess & Jordan's wedding! But wait... there's 300+ included in the highlights!! But wait... the highlights are ready ONE DAY AFTER THE WEDDING!! ...
But wait... We have a comedian too, who adds some very cool commentary to capture the day in front of the Chicago Theater!!!
WOW - WOW - WOW~!!!!! Kenny is a MAESTRO!!
He was on top of every last detail & did a phenomenal job capturing the day and evening, and the pictures are EXTRAORDINARY!!!!
We are all mesmerized and can't stop looking at these fabulous pictures!!
We are so appreciative of Kenny's incredible photography that we all can treasure forever!!!

losest friends and family can't stop talking about you and it was jaw dropping watching you operate. You are the Wayne Gretzky of capturing important moments! Can't recommend enough!

super creative, and most of all, after all said and done, he became a close friend of ours. Kenny is honestly an amazing person. He is so incredibly passionate about what he does and he's a great people person, so was able to get everyone organized for all the different photos. It has been almost a year since our wedding and we have family/friends still asking us how Kenny is doing and if we keep in touch. We truly feel blessed that we were able to have Kenny shoot our wedding.
Kenny and I met a few years back while I was working at a winery in Napa Valley. I have always admired his work and knew that, if I ever got married, that he would be my number one...
choice for photography. After booking our venue, Kenny was the first vendor that we reached out to and we were SO lucky to have been able to snag him for our wedding day!
One look at any of his photos and you know that you are working with a world-class wedding photographer! His shots are beautifully concieved and stunning to look at, and you can tell that he has the ability to illicit and capture genuine emotion from the subjects. But with Kenny, you get much more than gorgeous photos. He genuinely cares to get to know you, your family, your friends and your story. Just as an example, he memorized our wedding party in advance of the event and was therefore able to direct people seamlessly on the day in order to get the right shots! To say that he takes his role seriously is an understatement.
Our families and friends were so impressed with Kenny. He and his second shooter, Ning, were in complete control of the day, were present for the right moments, and were endlessly patient with all of us. We will treasure every moment that Kenny has captured for us, from our engagement shoot last summer through our wedding day, Kenny has more than exceeded our expectations. I could go on and on. I won't. But I will say that a quality photographer is worth their weight in gold. You will be forever grateful to have him on your team on your wedding day. He is the best!
Kenny is absolutely incredible both at what he does and as a person. Kenny took the time to get to know my husband and I during our engagement process and went above and beyond to ...
help us prepare for our wedding.
During the weekend of our wedding, Kenny exceeded our expectations and then some. He learned all of our wedding party and extended family names and got to know them all on a personal level. This made group shots much easier for him to coordinate, and Kenny understood our friend/family dynamics and what we wanted to capture in our photos. He was also a ton of fun throughout the day. I think my friends and family loved having Kenny as part of our wedding day just as much as we did! Kenny also kept us on schedule throughout the day of the wedding and was such a positive energy.
I haven't even begun to mention Kenny's talent! He is without a doubt the best photographer I've seen and works tirelessly to capture the most personal and unique photos and get them finished in an extremely timely manner. We loved our engagement photos and wedding sneak peeks, and can't wait to see the rest of our wedding photos!
Kenny is top notch and we would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone who wants an incredibly talented, personal, friendly, and hard-working photographer to capture some of the most important moments of their life.

y. Kenny worked like a ninja and we rarely noticed him throughout the day. Once we saw the sneak peaks the day after our wedding day we were so amazed by the photos that were captured! My husband told me "Kenny is worth every penny we paid"! If Kenny happens to be available on your wedding day, consider yourself lucky! If you have the opportunity to book Kenny make sure you do! You won't regret it!
The best photographer! I don't know where to begin. Kenny was professional, artistic, and resourceful.
Kenny made sure that we were on track by staying in touch with me at cert...
ain points leading up to the wedding. He prepared for the day by asking for a list of all family and friends that needed to be photographed. He also insisted on bringing extra assistants to ensure he got all the necessary shots. He was also prompt with his arrival and was dressed impeccably.
Kenny knew exactly what shots to get. Some were typical, others were not. He has the eye that is not cheesy, not über high fashion, but perfectly romantic, and just the right amount of fun.
Kenny also was resourceful. He didn't carry around a lot of junk to slow us down, but he just happened to have little things we needed. When my girls were finding it difficult to button my dress, Kenny assisted by handing us a knitting needle!
Last but not least, Kenny stayed to the end! And we even witnessed him beginning to download some of the photos at the end of the night to a hard drive!
No need to interview others! Hire Kenny! He's worth every penny!
Kenny Kim is the best photographer you could ask for! He is worth every penny and so lovely to work with! We received so many compliments from our wedding party, family and friends...

Our engagement photo shoot was just lovely! Even though we felt awkward at first, Kenny helped us jump right in and gave us many pointers. He was laid-back and professional. For our wedding, he definitely did an awesome job! We were able to see some of the teaser photos, and we are so excited to see everything else!
Thank you, Kenny, for providing us with such invaluable snapshots of our special day. :)

Kenny is a pleasure to work with; fun, prompt, and flexible - which was really important for us. We and everyone else who has seen our photos has been so impressed with the quality and artistry with which our special day was captured.
When we were working out our budget for the big day, I knew I wanted photography to be our splurge and it was tremendously worth it because aside from my new husband, our photos and the memories they capture are what's going to last forever.
